Number one, it is a complete pain to activate the sim. I am not sure if it is just Italy or the company but certainly not worth the effort. Having said that the sim works as a broadband solution. It would be good if it could be intermittent IE just charge when you need it. We'll have to wait and see. P.s. if your
Italian isn't up to it put it through the translation set up.

Ok, I was on a tour trip to Italy last month for 7 days. And I bought a sim card and I told the sales I need just for 7 days!
the first thing is all services are just in Italian!
second, the coverage is very very bad in Florence!
third and most important they charge me again after 1 month because the sale did an auto-renew package for my account!!!! and the customer service is just in Italian. and to ask for refounding you should call international call for their customer service or send FAX!!!! can you believe?????? in 2022 and you need to send FAX for refound!!! not even mail!!

Internet speed and coverage was mediocre, the SIM activation process was horrible (spent 1.5 hours activating a SIM because of a huge form I had to fill, bugs on their website. They also make you upload the video in which you say a phrase in italian, and this video was auto rejected for me countless times before it was finally approved)

Ridicoli, 3 , 4 Mbit in download in 4g in una città come Roma. Mi spaventa immaginarla in periferia. Tim forever.

I used Iliad on my phone in 2019 and the coverage was so bad, so i changed operator. This year I gave them a try again and i'm impressively happy with everything. Internet speed and coverage are at the top so far and customer service is friendly and help you with everything...

Only upside is the price, which is crystal clear, with no surprises, unlike all the other providers. The rest, though, totally sucks. Internet coverage is poor and, at times, even phone conversation drops all of a sudden( with modern phone). This happens in several parts of Italy: many areas of Umbria, Valle d'Aosta, Emilia Romagna are terribly served, by personal experience. I have had it for about one year and made several complaints, but they seem to not care and service is getting worse and worse by the day. I will soon change provider, they are leaving me no choice.

I've been using Iliad for over a year and have found no problems whatsoever.
I live in the north east of Italy. There was a period when a particular antenna in my area wasn't transmitting the signal but I've contacted the support via facebook messenger and they resolved the issue within few hours. ( you can also contact them via twitter, they seem to be pretty responsive there too).
Internet works abroad and since I travel a lot I love the option to have everything at hand.
I'm sorry about the bad reviews hereunder, probably there's not enought coverage for all cities. Mine isn't that big tought everything works fine.
I can just recommend them especially comparing their offers and prices to the competitors.

They doesn't care about you, just give money and go f yourself. But internet is not bad

I went personally to the Verona store. I was told that I could call the USA with Iliad for free. You don't and they lied to me. Also is not true that you call over all the states in EU for free. You can only call for free if you call their home number but you pay to call a cell phone. Also you get charged EU .28 if you send a message to the US

I tried to register with my girlfriend, both online, the online identification was unsuccessful for like thousand times, after 3-4 days finally succeeded, but then waited for more than 10 days for the sim that never arrived! You can only contact them on Facebook, no e-mails, no options to cancel it online, you have to submit special documents via fax or post, very very annoying! If you want to lose a lot of time and maybe even money, go for it!

So far so good with Iliad. The only unfair problem is they have different limits for inside and outside Italy, and that goes against the spirit of flat rates in the whole EU.
