My dealings with Jones Whyte comes in two parts.
Good points: When closing my mother's trust fund Rebecca was assigned to manage this work for me. She was attentive and responsive to all my requests, provided updates weekly or whenever new information was delivered. Rebecca and her co-workers were exemplary and a credit to JW. So 5* for Rebecca and team.
Not so good points:
JW took over my mother's trust fund from a solicitor that had gone into receivership but failed to inform me. When I had to sell my mother's house they acted as conveyancing agents but sadly the conveyancer was not helpful, would not respond to calls or emails in a timely manner, although her assistant was more helpful. 3* for the conveyancing
This was our second transaction with Jones Whyte, and once again they delivered!
We had a tight 6-week completion window and Kaitlins attention to detail, prompt action and fantastic communication meant that we completed exactly as planned!
An impeccable service, thank you! We will most definitely be back!

I had several dead-end discussions with other solicitors regarding writing a Will as a non-resident but British citizen with British assets (England).
Jones Whyte were very efficient and easy to deal with, consistent and professional.
We have communicated mostly by email and as I live abroad in the EU international postage has caused hassles and delays, but Jones Whyte didn't skip a beat or quibble about it at all.
I had a clause amendment on standard simple will, I found the experience refreshingly simple and cost effective.
Prices were always very transparent and advice on point. I have recommended them to others in similar situations or regular. I have not had to travel to complete this process, which was originally suggested by will writers in my home town in Yorkshire. The savings in logistical terms are difficult to calculate but in terms of hassle and solicitor fees, I have saved a fortune.

Despite having chosen a different (local) firm of solicitors to deal with the on-going issues relating to my Family Property Trust, l was genuinely impressed with how JonesWhyte managed the very speedy release of all my McClure documentation. They state their aim is to release the legal documents within 28 days and they achieved this for me, following my mandate, in 10 working days. A very special thank you goes to Stephen Cousins (paralegal) who was, in the main, responsible for this level of efficiency. He guided me when l made an error in getting certification on the correct documents and acted very promptly when all the correct documentation was received. He was professional, courteous and thorough. His care was very much appreciated. Happy with the outcome.

Kyle predominantly dealt with the sale of my late Dad’s property with the assistance of Ryan Pollock and Gillian Cogan. The sale was handled with empathy and care. There was a bit of back and forth towards the closing date with the other sides solicitor, but Kyle ensured that this was dealt with promptly and with my consideration.
I would highly recommend Kyle and of course Ryan and Gillian. 5 stars all round and would not hesitate to use Jones Whyte again.

A thoroughly uneventful property sale, that's what I got and exactly what I needed.
Nicole Hoffay-Somerville was my point of contact and she walked me through all the steps with clear communication and any of my questions were answered without the usual jargon and Nicole gave me plenty of notice of my requirements until we crossed the finish line, Nicole thank you for patience and I'm so glad you made such a daunting task so uneventful. A real asset to your business Jones Whyte!

Our experience with Jones Whyte was amazing 👏 and turned out to be successful, i highly recommend them to anyone in need of legal representation or Conveyancing .
When our case was raised with Jones Whyte Shenai Chain,
our Conveyancing supervisor initiated the conversation with the sellers Solicitors and got to work promptly.
Our case handler Nicole Hoffay-Somerville was such a great support through the the process of purchase of our new home. Not only did She constantly update us and guide us through the process , She also ensured that we got our Keys in an expedited fashion.

Jan Telfer, great communication and advice for a first time buyer and she gets the job done. Alesha Baxter also did a good job of organising the solicitor for me.

I used Jones Whyte for both the sale and purchase of my property. While the service was acceptable at first, things took a serious downturn on the day of completion. I received an email - not even a phone call - informing me that they had made an error and demanding an additional payment, warning that I would not receive the keys to my new home otherwise. This was only a few hours before I was due to collect them.
Their mistake not only delayed completion but caused me significant stress. The conveyancing team admitted that the documents had not been properly checked and confirmed the error was entirely theirs, yet they have refused to cover the cost. After weeks of chasing for answers and eventually submitting a formal complaint, I was offered just £100 as compensation for their mistake, which was no where near the amount that was demanded that day.
The service, communication, and lack of accountability have been extremely disappointing. Their response showed no empathy, understanding, or remorse for the impact their error had on me during an already stressful time.
