Can't contact them

Wanted to buy a specific keyboard, which shouldn't have been in stock. thought it might be because there could have been excess units. wrote a message to know if it was an error or i could still buy it, no emails after a few days, figure because it's because its the holidays, go check the product page and it's been deleted, not even out of stock, straight up deleted. Check emails again (in spam too, just to be sure), nope, they just deleted the listing without saying anything, and from I've gathered from the other reviews if I were to buy the keyboard without checking, I would have had a hard time getting the money back.

We had a banner on the top of our website indicating that our support is not in the office during Christmas and New-Year but maybe this was too small and was not noticeable enough.

We answered all messages after our holiday break. The product page was timed to close during the break.

Our normal answering time is 24h on a business day.

NEVER PAY FOR THE RETURN POSTAGE

They just emailed me because they want me to delete this review, i will not.
I will instead respond and recommend you to never order from this company.
TL;DR at the bottom.

Response to update:

I did provide you my PayPal account and you did refund the full amount.
I do not understand how you missed this as it's literally detailed in my last message to your email.
However, you only complied to this by termination of the sales contract from me, you never offered it.

Response:

You agreed to cover the shipping back to the other customer, but did not provide information as to how or when.
The 5th of August you agreed to pay for the return, but didn't provide details about how or when (And refused to send a return slip). It wasn't until the 7th you actually informed me about how (Over a week after my first support contact.).

You did ask us both in advance to send the products to each other, which i declined as i didn't want the liability.
You agreed to have the products returned the 5th of August, only to complain about it on the 10th of August.
You withheld that he had already shipped the products to me for 3 days before telling me.
You promised the 31st of July you would only go through with this solution if we both agreed on it.
You say you did this to be simple and fast, yet my products haven't arrived to this day.

The only time you mentioned refunds before August 22nd was on the 7th, to partially refund the return.
You didn't offer a full refund until August 22nd (Over a month after placing my order.), only then as a reply to an email i sent August the 21st where i terminated our sales contract as you had breached it (And that i had filed for a chargeback.).
So while you did refund eventually, the claim that you "in the meantime" told me that you would refund my order is somewhat disingenuous, as it took over a month from the order date and 26 emails until you refunded me (And you never offered it once this entire time.).

Backstory:

Package arrived on July 30th with another customers goods including a packing slip with address etc.
It took 24 hours for the company to reply with trying to make us send the package to each other.
The 31st of July i declined to ship to the other customer and instead demanded a return slip.
They then spent several days insisting that it was absolutely impossible for them to send me a return slip, despite receiving instructions on how to do so.

9th of August they agreed to a partial refund for the return shipping, at which point i sent the package back with proof of shipping including tracking links, to which they replied with that i was supposed to ship to the other customer instead of back to them (Which i had refused 10 days prior, as i do not want liability for another consumers products.).
Then they sent me his proof of shipping with an invalid tracking id, which i confronted them about but never got any clarity on.
On the 14th of August they promised to reship if there where "no news by the end of the week".
They never shipped anything and completely stopped responding to my emails, and because they had made a partial refund through PayPal, this now meant i couldn't dispute through PayPal and had to file a chargeback request with my bank instead.

August 21st i informed them of my legal right to cancel the purchase (Full refund including shipping.), as they had now broken our sales agreement by not providing me any resolution for a month, and informed them that i had filed for a chargeback and that if they'd refund me i'd pull it back.
The next day they responded and gave me a full refund, now a full month since they first shipped the products, i withdrew the chargeback request as agreed upon.

It took 26 emails and a chargeback request to resolve this.

TL;DR

->NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY<-

I would not recommend anyone from ever ordering from this company as this is by far the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life.
If they ever want you to ship something back, DEMAND a return bill and NEVER PAY FOR THE RETURN POSTAGE.
25 messages over 3 weeks with no results and any sign of my products ever being delivered.

we are really sorry that there was is mixup in the names.

We did agree from the start that we cover all costs and that you will receive a Voucher for the store so that in the end you have no cost and also a little gift from us.

We asked both parties in advance if it would be ok to send it to each other to keep things simple and fast.

Sadly the package from the other customer is slow and we cannot tell why it takes so long to arrive.

In the meantime we did tell you that we will refund your order so that you can reorder or not as you like.

We also told you that we will cover all cost and that we might need a Paypal address for the remaining amount.

Mistakes can always happen since we are no machines we are also just humans and our workers do their best each day to ship all orders as fast as possible to our customers.

We are again very sorry that this mistake happened but we were always transparent.

Sadly this incident collided with the illness of the support team so we had some days where we had delays since we could not answer all mails in time.

If you still need assistance please reach out and we will answer within 24h on a business day. Please keep in mind that we might not be able to answer on the weekend.

Update: We asked you again for your paypal details so we can refund the rest. Sadly so far we did not get a reply. We really try to refund the return postage but we need to do it manually since the system only allows to refund the original amount which we did. To refund the return postage we need your paypal details which we cannot see on our end so a refund is not possible for us without your reply with the information.

The best vendor overall in my experience

I've now ordered five times on Keygem and it's been the best vendor I've ever ordered from.
They have reasonable prices and a very wide selection, I've ordered keycaps, switches, tools, a deskmat, a keyboard and even stickers and would recommend this site to anyone especially if you're in the EU.
Shipping usually takes 5-7 days (to Belgium), costs around 10€ and I've never had issues with them, the packaging is always very nice and protective and tracking is alright.

Lost Packages and Legal Threats from keygem

What I got or didn't get as a customer of keygem:

- I did not get any ordered items
- I got many threats of suing if I do not put my keygem review offline (not just change, but put offline)
- I got my money back from PayPal
- I did not get any responses to my email from the seller whatsoever until I put keygem review online on trustpilot and got my money back from PayPal

Let me elaborate a bit on this incident. I ordered a couple of items from keygem and the seller shipped with DHL Germany. According to DHL about two weeks later, my package was delivered to an unknown address (unknown to me) in another city. Also according to DHL tracking information the package never was in my city. Suspecting fraud, I wrote an email to the seller, trying to understand what was going on. There was no response whatsoever. A couple of days later, I left a review on trustpilot and got my money back from PayPal. After that, keygem started to send multiple emails to trustpilot trying to put my keygem review down. Trustpilot contacted me, and I was able to prove my case. The seller was completely unable to put my review down.

After her failed attempt, the seller sent me many suing threats, trying to prevent the public from knowing the truth.

as mentioned in the message we just sent you we did send it to the correct address you gave us in the Order.

DHL tried to deliver but could not so it was over a few days ready for pick-up at the local post office.

The package was sent back since no one picked it up in time.

The package arrived in our warehouse yesterday and since we are based in Aachen it shows as delivered in Aachen.

We are very sorry that you did not get the order but why DHL could not deliver and did not inform you to pick it up is something we cannot answer or even influence.

We will cancel your order today and refund the money.

Please always check the tracking to be aware if the order is ready for pick-up.

Got an order I had cancelled on the same day, customer support initially was hard to reacj with but they helped me and refunded me the return shipping even though for PayPal it had already been solved
Can recommend but be 110% sure on what you buy!

I am extremely disappointed with delivery and support

I am extremely disappointed with the shipping and customer service provided by Keygem. I ordered keyboard caps from their website on February 18, 2023, and paid for everything upfront, expecting the product to be dispatched from Germany and delivered to the Czech Republic within seven days.

However, as of March 8, 2023, I had not received my order and had to personally email Keygem to inquire about it. I was informed that my order had been misdirected by the postal service and sent to the United States, and that nobody had realized the error until I brought it to their attention. Keygem then claimed to have redirected the order to my country, but it has yet to arrive. They estimated it would take two more weeks, but as of March 28, 2023, I still have not received any updates or communication from them.

I am extremely disappointed with Keygem's service and delivery, which have been much slower and less reliable than advertised. I had assumed that being located in Europe, their shipping and delivery would be more efficient and trustworthy, but it has proven to be worse than ordering from Aliexpress.

The lack of communication from Keygem has led me to question their legitimacy, as it seems that they only respond to customer inquiries after being urged to do so. Their lack of a tracking system and inability to control the delivery process is concerning, particularly given that payment is required upfront.

As such, I am requesting an immediate refund and will update this review to reflect the outcome. I caution others against ordering from Keygem, given their poor service and communication.

we are very sorry about the trouble with the order.

We already talked to DHL and the issue occurs in their sorting center where packages are sorted via hand.

The information we got from DHL was that once it arrives in the wrong country it is redirected to the correct country and normally only takes 14 days.

Sadly we did not see the wrong routing because DHL does not send any information if it happends and the tracking also shows no issue or red flag on the tracking so it is not visible without checking the DHL tracking itself and reading every update which we can not do for every order since it would take up to much time for our employee.

We already initiated the refund today after you got back to us.

Once again we would like to appologize and hope that DHL takes care of this manual sorting issue as soon as possible.

Overall

If you are stated in germany or close to it, you will really appreciate the fast shipping times.
Big Switch, Stabs, Keycaps and Accessory selections.
Many people don't mention this but there is a cashback system which gets you gems every time you buy, which you can then use to get a coupon, really like it!
