Considering shipping was from Belgium…

Considering shipping was from Belgium to Tasmania it was really quick and well communicated and well tracked, product good price good, had to pay duty to get delivered which wasn’t obvious until it was required but still safely writhing market prices here and lead time locally was 16 weeks and I had these within 14 days

Very intransparent and not welcoming

Very intransparent and not welcoming. I paid for a highboard of around EUR 1200 additional EUR 470 to what was stated (transport to Switzerland, DHL charged over CHF 240 for fees etc.). I did not know that and the support was not good at all. They basically said, this was all written anywhere on the homepage. No full refund option provided. No clear transparency. I had no other real choice than to pay the enourmous amounts charged. Very disappointing experiance. Will not order again.

As mentioned in our Terms & Conditions and on our website, for orders delivered to Switzerland, prices are shown excluding VAT, and customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and customs fees determined by Swiss authorities.

We also noted that in the screenshot you shared by email, this information appears directly below the section you highlighted, including the statement that customs charges and processing are not included and may vary. This is something we clearly indicate to help customers anticipate potential additional costs when ordering outside the EU.

That said, we do understand that import regulations and fees can sometimes be confusing, and we’re sorry that this situation led to frustration. While the process itself proceeded as expected from a logistics perspective, we regret that it did not meet your expectations.

Artek stools

Great shopping experience. Items arrived on time and well packaged.

The stools are lovely and the sage green seat adds a whimsical twist to such an iconic design.

Don't order anything from here...

Ordered a wall-plug two months ago and have received ZERO correspondence regarding the order. Money was taken right away tho. I've emailed 5 times and called 6 times and there's no answer. And from other comments on their Insta, seems this is a false merchant just stealing money from people. Reporting to the police next.

This is my second purchase from Lamp…

This is my second purchase from Lamp Twist, and once again the experience has been flawless. Fast shipping from Belgium, perfect packaging, and the lamp arrived in impeccable condition. When a supplier consistently delivers at this level, the choice for future purchases is easy. Highly recommended — thank you again, Lamp Twist.

Great customer service by Livina

I ordered an expensive designer lamp at LampTwist. After a few weeks waiting the lamp was shipped by DHL and supposedly delivered at my home address while nobody was at home. Parcel was nowhere to be found and lost/stolen. Shipper (DHL) was unreachable, but fortunately Livina from LampTwist took care of it and handled the claim swiftly and professionally and my money was refunded. Thank you Livina from LampTwist!

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. After I made a purchase, paid for it, and received their written confirmation of purchase processed, they then sent me an email saying they wrongly calculated my delivery and I would have to pay around CHF 150 extra if I wanted my order to be delivered. That’s a ridiculous thing to do to a customer, as I’m at no fault if their systems do wrong calculations on their site. Now I have to wait for a refund and they won’t reply. I also keep getting automated emails saying the order will be late anyway. So neither the price displayed nor the delivery times can be trusted. DON’T BUY HERE - save yourself the trouble.

Great service and perfect delivery to Taiwan!

I ordered 4 lamps from LampTwist. To be honest, I was initially a bit concerned about the shipping safety and the lead time for international delivery to Taiwan.

However, the customer service agent was helpful and professional. Although the reply time was a bit slow (perhaps that’s just how things move in Europe), she eventually addressed all my concerns. She handled my manual order additions and ensured all items were consolidated into one shipment to optimize my costs.

The package arrived yesterday, and all 4 lamps arrived in perfect condition with no damage at all. The quality of the Serax lamps is nice. I recommend LampTwist for their reliable service and great price.

Another happy customer

This is my second order with Lamptwist. The first took a while because of supplier issues; the second was an in-stock item, so shipped very quickly. If you sign up for an account you can track the order progress precisely, and they ship with DHL, which is expensive but fast and reliable. Items were genuine and well packed for a journey half way across the world. 10/10 would order a third time.

Be very careful when buying “Second Chance” items

I am very disappointed with my experience at Lamptwist.

I purchased a “Second Chance” lamp. The first product image showed a new lamp, and the description initially mentioned that it was a return item, which explained the lower price. I already knew the lamp and wanted it, so I ordered it.

However, when it arrived, the lamp turned out to have three large holes (approximately 3–5 cm each). These were not clearly visible in the main images and were easy to overlook in the description. The damage is significant and not what I expected when reading “return item.”

Shipping to Denmark cost approximately €215 — and returning it would cost roughly the same. Financially, it makes no sense to return it. Lamptwist has refused to offer any compensation.

In total, I paid approximately €750. I could have purchased a brand-new lamp in Denmark for around €1,100. Instead, I am now left with a heavily damaged lamp.

If you consider buying from Lamptwist, make absolutely sure to review every single photo and read the full description in detail before ordering. The damage should be made much clearer and more transparent upfront.

Very disappointing experience.
