Smooth process. Effective communication with Underwriter to get all issues resolved and get the case to offer.

We submitted 10 applications for a single site, having been advised to submit a test case which went to offer successfully. We proceeded to submit 9 others, some were accepted by the original valuer and others which were panelled out to an alternative surveyor. We ended up with NO CASES being accepted and the ones that had gone to offer were withdrawn. Received not very honest opinion from the Head of Underwriting, to be honest he did not come across as being honest or upfront and even admitted to an error and then denied there was an error in the process, most importantly a client out of pocket to the tune of £8,000 based on valuation and application fee's (which we were assured we'd get half the application fee's back purely based on the number of cases placed)... still waiting for them to pick up on this ! I would only reluctantly consider placing cases in the future to Landbay, as a last resort type situation as I am really disappointed as to how they have acted. Avoid where you can !
personal phone call from the u/w explaining all docs needed to progress the case. really easy system to use. clear website, user friendly. great bdm i can always call and disccuss.

Landbay have been really good in supporting my clients with buy to let mortgages. The BDM Simone Ferreira is always available on the phone or by email, and great service on the phone too!!

We had to abandon the application because due to a delay in the clients getting the latest year's tax calcs from their accountant they passed your deadline for securing the rate and keeping the application going. Your new rates are far less competitive. Other lenders do not have these deadlines and would have honoured the rate we thought we had secured for the client. Now we have to apply with a new lender.
Quick and responsive underwriters!
Only downside/feed back is requiring a 'buildings insurance' quote for every mortgage offer to be produced, even on a leavehold flat.
David Rann has been very proactive in the processing of this mortgage. It has not been a straight-forward case, but his expertise has been central to getting a very quick mortgage offer.

We have recently regularly been using Landbay to place 6 bed HMO mortgages. Our client is a portfolio landlord (lots of experience with several lenders!) and always comments on how sleek Landbay's user experience is. More importantly as a broker the BDMs, underwriters and completion officers make the process of working with Landbay very simple. We can get in direct contact with everyone directly which helps massively to save time. Big thanks to Sam Waterhouse, Scott Thomson and Gareth Powell. Will have a new case for you all this week!

The excellent service from Luke Cassidy made sure the case went to offer in 11 days. This was only delayed by the wait for a valuation appointment. Luke's communication was first class.

Glenn Shipman has been absolutely fantastic on our cases – he has been patient, diligent and it's not often I’m so impressed with an underwriter that I have wanted to leave a review!
