Phoebe was ace, really helpful over the phone, arranged a viewing on short notice and was very knowledgeable on the property and area. Phoebe has been incredibly communicative and responsive throughout the whole process, answering a range of random questions from me as a first-time renter, making the whole process so easy! I had a very pleasent experience! The agent was extremely professional and made the entire process feel smooth and well-organised. They were also very welcoming, approachable, and happy to answer all of my questions, which really put me at ease. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I truly appreciated the level of service provided.

My experience with Leaders has been shocking from start to finish. After viewing the property and agreeing an offer, I was told the property was tenanted but that the tenants would be out by the time completion took place. Four months later, when I asked for an update, I was suddenly told the tenants were not even aware they were expected to leave, and that I would have to complete the purchase with tenants still in place.
This was only disclosed after I had already obtained my mortgage offer and progressed everything, despite this being an equity release purchase. I have now completed, and three weeks later I still have no clear information about the tenants or when I will be able to access my property.
I have been repeatedly promised that this would be sorted, but nothing has happened. On top of that, I have not received any rent from the tenants.
I am an investor and have dealt with many property transactions, but I have never come across such an unprofessional service or so many broken promises. Very disappointing

I was shown around a property today by Phoebe from Leaders. Whilst I will not be taking the property, the service I received from Phoebe was excellent. She was knowledgeable and helpful. I would certainly recommend Leaders as a first class estate agent in Bishopd Stortford

I was assisted through the whole process by Libby Riddle from Leaders Bishops Stortford. From the beginning, she was kind and accommodating in finding a suitable time for a viewing. Throughout the entire process, she was a calming presence and made sure I had a good understanding of the property and the neighbourhood. From the moment I rang the office last year up until the day I collected my keys, I was supported and I felt that there was a real human touch to their operations which is lacking in most places. I even got a lovely box of welcome snacks/discount cards! Thank you to the team and especially Libby for your hard work.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!!!! COMPLETE SCAMMERS!!!! I rented a cottage through the bishops Stortford branch for 12 month commencing October 2024 and left in October 2025 throughout my tenancy i did not have to deal with the company much throughout until my landlady chose to sell the property nearing the end of my tenancy where they were doing viewings where i made myself available and the cottage presentable for this.
I opted for the no deposit option, be aware this is a complete scam. When i left the property i had paid for a cleaner and left the cottage as mentioned in the contract in the same state as which i found it. I had a end of tenancy report taken which reflected this that the cottage was in the same state. .Then the nightmare started! I had a report come though which said they had booked a deep cleaner for the cottage and i owed £350 due to this, I asked for photo evidence of what they had actually done in regards to a deep clean to warrant such a high price, they kept saying that these were supplied in the end of tenancy report, and refused to provide any actual evidance of the actual clean. They then begrudgingly sent me a invoice through for this 'clean' which once i researched the name and the name on the persons monzo who was needing to be paid it turned out this particular person was a property manager at leaders according to linked in (dodgy if you ask me) they then threatened me with a court case if i did not pay the amount and sent numerous emails mentioning this and the fact that i will loose and will have to pay an additional £180 if this was the case. This got so bad and i was petrified from this situation that i would need to pay over £500 for this situation that i ended up just paying the £350. They still then sent this to the court and when i called to say that i had paid all i had was well you should have paid quicker shouldn't you ! Fast forward to today 2 months since i left the cottage, i receive another leaders notification through stating the hot water is not working at the cottage, i cannot see how 2 months after i have left why this is my issue, the layout of the email they have sent is the same as the 'deep cleean' so i fear they will be trying to charge me again for this. To Conclude, I would 100% avoid these scammers if you are looking to use them unless you wat to be out of pocket, do not listen to the 0% deposit spiel when they try to upsell this to you, you are paying them directly for basically nothing and this does not give you any depositary protection what so ever ! There is much much much more to this story however i can go on all day! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID !

The agent customer service is really poor . I even don't want to give one star. They cancelled my appointment without telling me in advance. Now they ask for proof of fund even just view the property. Instead of providing service, they think they are your boss.

Very happy with the service I received in finding a new tenant. Tom and Phoebe were nothing short of extremely professional from the outset and kept me updated at every stage. I am delighted with my tenant and would recommend Leaders without hesitation.
