I submitted approximately 500 photos…
I submitted approximately 500 photos from my mothers albums to be used at her future memorial, at a charge of $600+. I followed their directions to a tee so was extremely upset when the finished product was returned and is a complete mess. Pictures are upside down and sideways . . . there are blanks after blanks, and shots of the ink Kodak stamps on the backs of the photos. It looks like they just dumped the pictures in a machine and set it on double sided. Obviously no one checked the job before it was loaded on to the thumb drives and sent to me. I left a voicemail message but no response. When I sent an email complaining about the quality of the job, with a request to either correct the job or completely redo it, their response appeared to be AI generated. So after going back and forth several times with it refusing to fix the problem, (it suggested I load the pictures on MY computer to fix the misdirectional photos), and admitted nothing could be done about the blanks and Kodak stamps, I said forget it, I'm done. $600+ completely wasted, and now I have nothing to show at my mother's Celebration of Life memorial. I'm going to do what I should have done right from the beginning . . . Figure out how to do it myself. GGGRRR!

When we are able to scan the back of the photos, we are happy to do so to help you preserve as much of the photo experience as possible and share with your family any handwritten information that might be present. We truly hoped this would be a pleasant bonus feature of the order, and I am sorry that it has caused frustration. Sometimes we have to scan the photos at different angles to capture the best image, especially on these more vintage photos. You can delete the "back" files if they are bothersome. Alternatively, you can copy the photos that you need on a different device and leave the thumb drive that we sent as a complete original copy.
If you have any other questions for us, please reply to the existing conversation. Although our AI attendant did initially answer your message, you were speaking with our Customer Experience team. We'll be happy to help.

I was surprised how fast I got my films back, along with the digitized versions. The whole process was very easy. Based on my experience , I will send in more of my families films.

Will use again
This is the second time we have used Legacy Box and both were perfect. All of our treasures were handled quickly and with care. Nothing was lost or damaged. This saved me so much time and energy and would have never been done if I had to do myself. Costs are fair and reasonable for the service. I received my two cd contents on a thumb drive, had to put thumb in my laptop to know how the thumb drive was formated, after which I copied just the fils I wanted to a file to be saved to another thumb drive. 👍:-):-)

Easy, fast, and awesome
The whole process was so easy and fast, start to end. Quality was better than expected as some of my tapes appeared to be old and damaged. It’s so easy to go through videos and filter out clips that haven’t been viewed in so many years. Would recommend to anyone looking preserve memories.

I like the fact that the back of all photos are copied - the back often has important info about the photo written on it
I also like how the order ships with a box that can be used for an additional order, along with stickers for the order and a return mailing label.

Absolutely wonderful service
Absolutely wonderful service. Sent in old VCR tapes and mini DV and a few mini 8? things I don't know the name of....I hadn't heard my husband's voice in about 28 years or so. To see him and hear him was absolutely wonderful! Along with so many family members that have since passed. And it was a quick turn around and I was notified of each step of the process. If you have been thinking of doing it...DO IT! Those tapes are just getting moldy in that box under your bed or in the basement. Do it before its too late....these memories will last beyond my lifetime and will be shared with family that really will appreciate it. Thank you so very much!
