Self checkouts

I have been a loyal Lidl customer for 15 years, but with all their changes including having no open tills, not issuing receipts not accepting cards at tills thus forcing you to use the self-checkouts this is putting me off.

Cordless electrical products.

For anyone considering purchasing anything from their 'cordless electrical range.' tools, garden machinery, etc, I would like to offer you some advice. Unless you either already own a suitable battery with charger or know where to obtain one do not buy any of these products. My local store has plenty of machines on sale but has not had the battery/charger combo in stock for many months now and cannot say even if it will have any in future, never mind when.
I purchased a cordless lawn mower and ordered a battery and charger online through Google and it is a scam site, despite using the Parkside logo. Lidl Customer services are not interested and are quite content to continue to offer these goods without the means to make them operable.
They may appear to offer good value but find your battery first, I wish you luck.

All gone wrong at lidls

Try to nip in for a 30 second shop.....how long does it take to get out?? Staff are run off their feet .By the time another till is opened queue is to big ...mostly full trolleys when you're standing with a few items. No self or express checkout so 80% of time my shopping is abandoned at till.I apologise for doing this staff are busy enough without me(and others)adding to their burden but management should appreciate that the public don't need to queue for ten minutes to buy something in their lunch break when mostly every where else has express or self service options...lidless if you want my cash provide a better shopping experience..you have very hard working staff try and match their ethics

Lidl Fulham North End Road

I went to Lidl Fulham North End road branch, two weeks ago, to do my shopping. When I reached the self check out as was trying to put my shopping on the till, Samit assisted me with my basket.

Not only did he helped me to change my Brussel sprouts, your colleague (Samit) went above and beyond, to ensure that I receive an excellent customer experience at Lidl.

Easier to get in than out!

Just checked out our brand new store but there was nothing I wanted to buy. Getting out was not easy. Queues at all the tills with no room to squeeze through meant I had to exit through the self service area, but I couldn't do that without a receipt. A very friendly member of staff came to my aid but it was stressful. I won't go back. I don't see how it stops shoplifting, the villains just need to pay for one item and stuff the rest in their pockets!

be careful from this place don't use car park please. I was parking in family bay for 10 minutes for doing shopping at Lidl .someone from management car park taken photo by his mobile phone to my car absolutely ridiculous
person ,then I got it a charger parking notice £100
by post. If overtime I have to pay for it be fair no problem, but that is a discrimination.
I have got child seat in car my son was with me. I have been emailing the Lidl customers service with all proof of Lidl shopping receipt time and date charging notice for Discuss about it and help.
They said to me I have to do appeal it we can't cancel it they knows appeal will be unsuccessful because from private land ridiculous and useless.... I am regular customer for this supermarket since opening absolutely shameful.
However, I decided to stopped any shopping from Lidl never again .
I will back to sainsbury's cross road better and good food quality, And Good customers service.

The staff are always friendly

The staff are always friendly, efficient and helpful. In general the food is good value, especially the various fish-cakes. However, they need to check their suppliers of Welsh lamb. The lamb steaks I had recently were tough and inedible.

Misleading the public by advertising…

Misleading the public by advertising special offers that are priced to draw customers into the store to purchase said item only to find the advertised item did not come into stock. This happens too often to not be a deliberate attempt by Lidl to lure people in on a premises they will purchase other things in store. A most dishonourable and unfair practise.

Simple con to trick people.

I was buying in Lidl organic cold pressed coconut oil for some time but unfortunately the coconut oil recently becomes not organic but you do not see any difference on label except of missing the organic eu certificate and the word "Organic" which was very small anyway. So is you trust and use the product for some time you dobot check the label details. The price of the oil is the same as organic was so this looks like coming people to buy crap for the premium price. Not sure how long I was consuming the chemicals with this oil as ,,I just discovered the Lidl con. In my view if they significantly change the product the labels should changed to not misleading people. So I finished my shopping with Lidl forever.

You may get the odd offer that'll benefit you, but they change the goal posts quite often.
From 1st Feb it's a free can of pop or drink when you spend £100 and a packet of sweets when you reach £150, personally I think it's a pretty poor way to repay customer loyalty.

Lidl at Heacham and Fakenham my local…

Lidl at Heacham and Fakenham my local stores.
I very seldom shop at Lidl, you just know there wont be enough checkouts open, every single time this is the case!
I had 3 items this morning, only 2 checkouts open both with people with big shops.
They finally started flashing to open another one so myself and the couple behind me went over. Took an age for anyone to actually come onto the checkout, finally a sullen looking woman ambled over to open it. No apologies for the wait, no greeting, no common courtesy whatsoever. This is why I do my main shop at Tesco, hate these German discount stores (but at least Aldi have now installed self checkouts for those only wanting a couple of items).
They may be Lidl on price but they are rubbish at customer service!
