Damage to vehicle by Lion Parking Representatives at Heathrow Terminal 5 March 2025

Sadly, representatives returned my vehicle to me at Terminal 5 Heathrow / March 2025) with visible damage to the vehicles rear bumper. The damage was bad enough that it requires repairing and a full respray.
I submitted a claim with photographs and Lion Parking accepted liability and put forward their own resolution, which I declined.

It is now May 8th 2025 and despite further emails to Lion Parking, they have ceased any further communication with me.

Feel that the only way forward to get the repairs completed is to take this to a small claims court and claim the cost of repairs and the court costs.

After this experience with Lion Parking, would I recommend them to my family and friends.. NO..

Even 1star as a guide for my experience would be too much. Maybe minus 5 would be more in line.

I wouldn’t touch these with a barge pole

If this is the LionParking that provides a Meet & Great service for Heathrow then I would not go anywhere near these guys. Genuinely, I have them every chance to manage the engagement and they failed at every opportunity.

1. They were late TO COLLECT my car! That’s the first time that has happened to me ever (around 30 meet & greet bookings). The reason: “the other driver didn’t want to come”
2. On return to LHR and to my car it was over 40 minutes wait time. I had to call 4 times and only on the last call did they backtrack and say “our normal wait time is 30-35 minutes”. 3 other companies at the car park said the wait with them is 15-20 mins.
3. No proactive communication and a refusal to even pay for exit fee which they charged on top of the parking.

Never again. I would urge you not to as well.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Currently taking legal action due to them driving my car without my permission in ULEZ zones. I had to pay £180 In charges. Car was also returned in an awful state inside and out. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Lion parking saved us

We were let down by another company at 5.30 in the morning on a busy Saturday, and Lion parking helped us out last minute at a very reasonable rate, I cant tell you how helpful they were, car came back in great shape, no complaints at all, would definitely use again.

DO NOT USE DO NOT USE! Fake company!

DO NOT USE! DO NOT USE!
1. Scratched up my car badly!
2. Waited 40mins when I dropped off my car at Heathrow for someone to drive it.
3 They do not pick up the phone, I called them 25+ times before someone picked up. If you are looking for your car to get smashed up, to experience ridiculous waiting times and have to call more than 20 times to get someone on a call then use this company. Otherwise stay clear! They operate as Lion Parking but they used to be Rainbow parking which was closed down as such bad reviews and experience.

Dirty and £400 of Damage

Dirty and £400 of Damage - Do Not Use any business associated with Lion Parking.
Booked via a comparison site with a different name, however the main contracting company is Lion Parking. Check the booking before paying that your parking is not with Lion Parking.
No receipt is provided on dropping your vehicle off recording the vehicle condition.
Car was returned damaged and in a terrible state, filthy inside and out. Looked like it had been used on a farm. The delivery driver tried to convince me my car was damaged when I dropped it off. It was not. He then rubbed off the indeterminate white dust that covered the side of the car where the damage was as a means of preventing me from taking the picture of the poor sate my car was returned. My car was not covered in white dust when it was handed over to Lion parking, neither was it damaged.
I now have a £400 repair my car because of a lack of care and attention to my vehicle caused by Lion Parking representatives.
If you are desperate for parking at and choose to use any Lion Parking registered / associated business, then video your vehicle condition inside and out before handing it over.
Recommendation – Do not use!!

AVOID!

AVOID!! DO NOT USE!!! SCAMMERS!! Found them on a comparison site Compare Parking Prices and booked through them. The company turned out to be LionParking. Car was returned in a terrible state, filthy inside and out. My car was then used driving around London and I landed a ULEZ fine of £90 that I am trying to appeal directly with Transport London. Contacted Lion Parking and they told me the fine is mine to pay because I drove to Heathrow!! Disgusting service and I am taking legal action.

Awful experience.

Had to wait 45 minutes for an operator to turn up at the airport car park. Needed 3 phone phone calls. Eventually a random guy turned up who was a friend of the company and not an employee. Car was returned muddy.
What a terrible company.

Bad LHR T4 EXPERIENCE

Recently used this company and on way to airport got stuck in traffic they did call me roughly on my booked arrival time and I told they we were delayed so they simply said give us a call when nearer.
Eventually cleared traffic and arrived 2hrs 10mins past my booked time after calling they simply said you are past your 2hr allocated time slot so an additional £20 would have to be paid.
NOTHING stated in the printed documentation that I could find but they may have it in their T&C's small print. Once driver arrived to pick up car he insisted on the £20 but cash only plus the car park £7.50 exit fee with no receipts.
On return we called as instructed only to have to then wait an hour and 2 more further calls to get the driver there with my car.
Car was full of mud!!!!!
Where was my reduction for having to wait 1 hr for my car? The driver didn't even apologise simply said where the keys were and walked away without me checking car over.
The car was fine but the service diabolical keep well away my advice.

Cash demanded for late return, no receipt

We were delayed on our return and they charged £35, insisted on cash and gave no receipt. Ignored email request for receipt (to be able to claim from airline).
Ok in terms of time taken to drop off and collect. Car was fine.

Sadly a 90 minute wait on return

The car was picked up promptly at Heathrow. We weren't given any receipt. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 90 minutes on return to the airport. Not what's wanted after a long flight. They did apologise and pay our £7.50 car park ticket and said we would get half price parking next time. However, I have emailed them twice to ask for this compensation but had no reply. I appreciate mistakes can be made but the least they could do would be to honour their offer of compensation.

WARNING AVOID AT ALL COST

WARNING AVOID AT ALL COST. Used the comparison site Compare Parking Prices and booked through them. The company turned out to be LionParking. I had booked meet and greet for Heathrow terminal 2. On the instructions it said to ring the company when you are 30 mins away from the terminal. I did this and gave them my satnav ETA. When I arrived no-one a there to receive the car. Rang the number again went to voicemail. Rang again and said someone would be there in 10 mins, 20 mins later no-one had turned up. Rang again and eventually a person turned up, and I was getting anxious about making the flight. He asked me to pay the parking £7.50, On my return I rang the number and went to voicemail but I received a return call and was told that the car would be there in 15 minutes. The car did arrive but I was told that the battery was flat and they had to jump start. I had a new battery fitted two days before taking the car to Heathrow. Again I was asked to pay the parking another £7.50, so now it £15.00 over the parking charge I had already paid. I drove off down the M25 and the drivers side windscreen wiper became detached whilst I was moving at 65mph in the centre lane, at night, and in heavy rain and heavy traffic. I had to pull over to the hard shoulder and attempt to repair the wiper, which eventually broke. I managed to get off the M25 and made it home although it was touch and go. When I got home I bought a new windscreen wiper I noticed that my windscreen was scratched by the broken wiper. I also noticed that the passenger side wiper was also loose, it looked as if it had been removed and not put back correctly. I am now looking at a windscreen repair or possibly a new windscreen. This has cost me extra, at a minimum an extra £15 and possibly much more. IF you can imagine being on the hard shoulder at night trying to repair your car with heavy trucks thundering past at 60+ one false move and it would have been fatal.

My vehicle was scratched while delivering the vehicle on T2 terminal heathrow. The driver who came to deliver ran away from the scene. No response from the company, when wrote to them about the incident and repairing cost. Pathetic company and not professional. Do not take parking service from them

Bad communication & corrupt drivers

After collecting our luggage & calling the company, we waited for an hour for our car to be returned.
The number we were given kept on going to voicemail so we couldn't speak to the company unless we called the number over 10 times.
When we eventually received a call from the driver we were told we would have to pay him extra - in cash - if we want our car returned, as our MOT had run out whilst we had been abroad.
A horrible experience and it could so easily have been rectified if we could get hold of the Head Office to discuss, & if anyone had bothered to call us back.

DAMAGED MY CAR

I booked under Heathrow Meet and Greet (they're no doubt doing this to to try & look like the official parking), then was given a ticket with Lion Parking when they collected it. I collected the car at 11pm & it was dark and the car was wet - I did a quick walk around and it looked okay. It was only the following morning when home (parked on a private drive) that I noticed the headlight was out of place and a long bad scratch on the bumper under the headlight. The £50 saved vs the others will now cost me at least £500 in repairs. Avoid.

AVOID/ THEY DAMAGED MY VEHICLE AND TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY

Booked Meet& Greet with Lion parking Heathrow T3 and it went all smooth until I encountered a damaged on my vehicle on my return.
Called them several times but all they said was the manager responsible who would deal with it wasn’t there but would be there tomorrow from 3pm. And the same conversation went on every time I called them.
Sent an email and they asked for 7 days to investigate the matter. 7 days gone and didn’t hear from them. Called again but same problem “ manager is not available today but will be there tomorrow from 3pm”. They basically take no responsibility if your vehicle gets damaged whilst under their care so AVOID THIS COMPANY otherwise you might end up with a huge bill to fix your vehicle.
