Great experience start to finish!
Great experience start to finish!! Someone explained how it worked and then left us alone to look ourselves - having been to other places where we were followed around and pressured to sell if we stay down, the Loaf team were a breath of fresh air. It was great they encouraged to go away, measure and come back, they went to extra mile to make sure we were truly happy with what we purchased. They explained it all in detail, we knew we had the cooling off period and how that worked, they also explained the insurance, which we also took out. I am really glad we went with them! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Staff at Edinburgh Straiton store are welcoming, knowledgable but not overbearing. Store was beautifully laid out and items were well presented. Very relaxed atmosphere for browsing the gorgeous items.

Friendly staff
Friendly staff, informative and the store is very welcoming for a family with children. There was no pressure to make a sale and the staff were patient to show lots of different options.

Sofa-bed shopping made easy...
It was so useful to visit Loaf and try out some sofa beds for size, ease of use and comfiness. In fact, all the Loaf sofa beds turned out to be really comfortable both as sofas and as beds. I'm not all that strong so I had a go at pulling out the bed and putting it away again - easy! Then I chose a few swatches to take home and try out. At our visit a few days later we were again met by really friendly, knowledgeable staff who weren't at all pushy and gave us space and time to try everything out again. The one-off payment that covers most accidents and mishaps that might be suffered by a sofa-bed over 5 years, from wine spills to pet maulings, is a very reassuring offer at an extremely reasonable price. All in all, easy, relaxing sofabed shopping - particular thanks to the very helpful staff.

Great staff
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. allowed us to wander the store and were there when we needed help. Staff were very informative but not pushy.
Great range of sofas, love the way each sofa can be made in any fabric. Large fabric samples were very good at helping us decide. It's as also great to be able to bring smaller samples home while we made up our mind.

If Carlsberg did sofa shopping…
What I loved about The Shack is how relaxed the atmosphere is—you can really sit with the sofas & figure out if it’s the right fit. I ended up visiting a couple of times before making my decision, & every time the assistants were just as welcoming, gave space & support. It made a big purchase feel a lot easier

Had been looking for a sofa for months
Had been looking for a sofa for months. Finally went to the loaf shop in Edinburgh and staff were very lovely and informative. They had a wide range of options and an infinite amount of sample fabrics (which you can bring home). Ended up ordering one on their website when I got home and can’t wait to receive it !

Glad we stumbled across Loaf…
We are so glad we stumbled across Loaf in Edinburgh. We made a couple of trips to the store to purchase a new sofa. To be honest, the hardest bit is narrowing down the choice as all the sofas are gorgeous. It seemed overwhelming but the staff are very good in helping you reach a decision both in style of sofa and fabric. The information sheets are handy to take home to check sizes etc. It's a pleasant shopping experience, no pressure, just honest and caring advice.

Excellent Retail Experience
Staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic but without making you feel as though there was any obligation to make a sale. We were given plenty of space and time to browse. The show room was beautifully laid out and presented with lots of choice and information.
