ABSOLUTE SCAMMER

ABSOLUTE SCAMMER
Called him out to a Grade II listed building. He has absolutely wrecked the front door, did a terrible job then charged us £1043.40 for the displeasure. The door isn't even secure after all of that. He took a card payment, then demanded cash, then said the card reader and bank transfer option isn't working. I have contacted trading standards and trying to stop our payments. We are a registered charity and to be scammed out of this much money is so sad, they don't care who they hurt.

Need to be shut down

Tried to charge £250 + a call out fee for one lock. I sent them away after having paid the call out fee and got another company doing the same job for £65.
they were also unfriendly and they should be shut down.

They are cheater !! DON'T CALL !!!

They're cheater. We agreed on price on the phone as 60£ and our key is really secure one and I can understand that might be additional cost afterwards and they said we need to charge 450£ for this case. First they offer service without invoice and after they said this is not possible and they asked cancellation fee. I didn't pay after 20 mins discussion and they're cheater because I paid 100£ and solved issue after them. THIS IS FRAUD.

ONE FOR TRADING STANDARDS

AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!
I locked myself out today and called for the locksmith service. I was told it would be £55 + VAT. They arrived 2 of them and said the lock would need to be drilled out and would cost £249 + VAT? I said no way! They said how much can you afford? I said I was told it would be £55 + VAT, and he said it’s a special lock? So a standard Yale is all of the sudden a special lock? I don’t think so!!!!!!!
He then said I can do it for £100? They have got you really. I was outside in a t-shirt, cold and just wanted to get in. I let them go ahead. This is where it gets interesting? Why there is 2 of them is this. One guy gets you to fill out a form to distract you, standing in front of the guy opening the door who has a slip card to get round the inside of the door to push back the bolt! Hey presto!!!! 2 minutes work, £100 + VAT please? Total £120.
It’s the biggest rip off company going. They must of paid a lot to be top of Google listings, so they can scam every poor person out there. In a time when every penny counts to people, they should be totally ashamed of themselves! Hence to say, I will not be recommending there services or be using them again in the future.

Our key broke in the lock this morning

Our key broke in the lock this morning. They arrived in 50 mins despite saying 25 mins but OK. For their call out charge they quote £49 which does not include VAT so it's actually £59. They said it would cost £169 to open the door (once again no VAT included so it was actually £203). They opened the door in under 90 seconds and presented me with a total invoice for over £261. We were stuck and desperate so had no choice. I feel they have taken advantage of our situation as we have since had quotes for less than half this but we just didn't have the time to shop around. Feel well and truly ripped off and cannot recommend this company under any circumstance.

Scam artists

Just as others have said - total and utter scam. £270 for a 1 minute job. Took 45 minutes to get there (told 15 mins) and were incredibly rude to my vulnerable mother.

Had the cheek to tell her they were 'saving her life'. Utterly disgusting.

PLEASE DO NOT USE COMPLETE SCAM

my wife called out these guys as we had left the keys in the house, we was advised they would arrive in 15 min but took an hour. Upon arrival I showed them the door and they advised it would cost an additional 180 plus the 49 call out fee advertised without even attempting to open. I have previously used a locksmith from another company and he was able to open the door in 2 mins using a card only. I advised this but was told that was the price to do this. Refused to continue and was offered 100 plus the call out I did not want to continue with there service so again refused and was charged the 49 plus vat so 60 for the call out. Neither the locksmith or his mate had any form of ppe and were very argumentative with my wife who. Had my 2 year old son with her

Extremely Rude Customer Service

Called up and was greeted by the MOST UNHELPFUL AND EXTREMELY RUDE customer service lady. She hung up on us mid sentence when we mentioned we would have to get back to her because she couldn’t even offer us a quote but still wanted to charge us £49 for a call out fee.

EXTORTIONATE CON ARTISTS!!! SCAMMERS!!

Like many others, we wish we had read the reviews here before using them. They come first on google search and did not realise the review on their site are fake not real Google reviews.

They had said £49.00 call out charge. Locksmith was upset that we would not by a £300.00 lock from him which was £35.00 in ScrewFix. Then decided to come up with random charges of £120.00 to open the door, £65.00 for drilling, and £75.00 for his labour which did not mention beforehand. Became abusive with my heavily pregnant wife front of my young child because she questioned his bill of circa £500.00 plus VAT. He left the lock undone and said that they would charge her double put it back or if she called again.

Breaking the door would have been a better option then going through the horrendous experience with this company.

PLEASE AVOID USING THEM EVEN IF THEY ARE THE LAST OPTION! EXTORTIONATE CON ARTISTS!
SCAMMERS!!

Utter scam- how do we get these foul people stopped?
It clearly stats in their Google ad words no call out fee - they then charged us a completely overpriced- no skill- used a bit of card and then drilled the lock.
Appalling humans- how do they sleep at night?
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Completely overpriced rip off

Completely overpriced. Charged me £260 for a 30 secs job. Told me £49 for call out and when the technician came in he asked for £170. + Vat. They say 15mins but arrived after 50 mins. Absolute rip off! Never use them. Only rang them as they come up on top in Google search.

Was completely scammed

Was completely scammed, Google ads imply they're local but it's a London based company - charged £500 after advising it would be no more than £250 (which is still way too overpriced) just to take the lock off and left a hole in the door - the guy got very aggressive when we initially refused to pay that price and used the value of our car as a justification for why this price was ok. His justification of the price was also showing me how much he had sweat opening the door.

Currently pursuing a complaint, if anyone has any advice regarding this it would be much appreciated.

AVOID

Called out locksmith's and was told by lady over the phone that should the technician not have to touch the lock a £55 call out fee would apply.

Technician turned up, was very blunt and apprupt, stuck his hand through the letter box to pick up key (which had been put through letterbox by accident!) and picked it up within a minute and now wants to charge £175.

Worst thing was my nieghbour came out with ladders in order to access the kitchen window whilst this was going on, we asked the technician to stop what he was doing but he carried on none the less.

Have been told that they require full payment plus a late payment fee.

Awful experience from start to finish, attempted to tranfer the call out charge which I feel is fair (£55) - various warning messages popping up when attempting the transfer, even my bank thinks they are dodgy! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Do not use this company under any circumstances they are crooks. Charged me £800 for a job that shoukd have cost £120. I have judgment against him for fraud. Please if you have been ripped off issue a claim through the courts. It will take time and cost money but hopefully we can eventually put this crook out of business and he will return to Bulgaria and not carry out his criminal business in the UK.
