Fast service , no big problems only car category I received was a little bit lower than i ordered and with this I'm not so happy ( there is the difference between Peugeot 308(ordered and paid) and Hyundai Kona (received and paid) !!!)

It was my first time renting a car, and it could not have been any easier. The Locauto staff in Sicily were really efficient and quick both during car pick-up and drop-off. They were forward and transparent when showing me the scratches the car already had, and gave me all the necessary time to take as many photos as needed. I rented an Opel Corsa, which turns out to be an excellent car, and which was in perfect condition. The car drop-off took a total of 1 minute, and there were no unfortunate surprises. I would only advise the reader to be well aware of the insurance they have contracted in advance, because once you get there, they bomb you with numbers, prices and information trying to convince you that you should pay an additional coverage, which can be confusing. In my case, I had gotten an external insurance to cover the excess so I did not pay any additional amounts and that was just fine. Highly recommendable!

The lady who dealt with me at the airport counter was very unprofessional and quite annoying. She kept pushing me to buy the full insurance and seemed irritated when I declined.

The car itself was also disappointing old, outdated and in poor condition, despite me booking an Audi A3, and it was even showing that the service was overdue. The only positive part of the experience was the staff members outside the airport who handled the actual car handover; they were very helpful and professional.

We were informed that if we were late to pick up the car, the company did not guarantee that they would be able to hold it, so I wrote a slightly later time in case the plane was delayed. When I arrived earlier, they told me that they did not have such a car at the moment, but they could lend me another one, which was more expensive, for 100€. We waited for an hour and they still did not have that particular car. The situation was the same for the people standing nearby. We got a new car, really good, pick-up and return were easy. Satisfied with the service
