Overall I am happy with the car and the handling process. We opted for the no worries contract. That’s expensive and also useful. Customer service over mail and telephone were unsatisfactory. We tried to change the airport where the car was to be returned. There was no attention, no interest and no care in helping us out. In the end we were forced to return the car we rented for 12 days in Catania and rent another one for a day for a 3 hour drive to Palermo. Plus having to line up again in a car & driver registration process on a travel day.

After writing this review I received a highly reflective response from Locauto, reminding me of the very challenging times we all went through during the many travel disruptions at Catania airport resulting from the week long eruption of Etna. And inviting me to give them a chance to offer me a five star car rental experience in future. Highly appreciated, and I will certainly give that a chance!

I rented a car for my trip, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations in every way.
Speed: The pick-up and drop-off processes were amazingly fast. No unnecessary delays or tedious paperwork—I had the keys in my hand and was ready to hit the road within minutes.
Cleanliness: The vehicle was in pristine condition. Spotlessly clean inside and out, smelling fresh, and clearly sanitized, which immediately gave me full peace of mind.
Customer Service: The staff was friendly, polite, and exceptionally helpful. They answered all my questions with a smile, offered useful driving tips, and went out of their way to ensure a smooth rental.
I will definitely choose them again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

Hello! Your company issued me an invoice for 212 euros for damage. At the same time:
1. I had full insurance.
2. The employee who accepted the car confirmed that there were no problems.
3. You didn’t specify what kind of damage this is.
I disagree with this and demand a refund.

Great customer service. The only car rental that was able to help me out -at an agreeable price- at Catania airport late night, after having been let down by another car rental. Valentina was friendly and helpful.

Excellent service from the staff at Lovauto; at the desk, picking up the car and also at drop off. Only gripe is with the number of alarms that sounded in the car constantly; car design rather than Locauto but it certainly made the drive more stressful!

Very good communication and quick check-in procedure. We were en route in minutes!

The staff at both Palermo and Catania were both polite and helpful. Georgia at Catania met us with a cheerful smile and explained the returns process whilst speaking excellent English. Fast pick up and drop off at both locations in Sicily.

Nice contact with staff, good cars, great offers.
In difficult situations, You can leave car in different destination that were choose at first time, with charge, but it is possible.

Alessio helped us very much for thr car return. He immediatley helped the second we got in and made the process as best as possible. The car was amazing for my wife 5 year old son and myself. We drove around the whole Sicily without any issues. Check in was also great. Thank you for the best time here in Sicily

Our flight was redirected to a different airport but Locauto dealt with this smoothly. Their phone line was promptly answered each time i called and the desk at Catania airport was open until midnight. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The all is easy from pick up to drop off

GREAT SERIVICE, HOW EVER WE NEEDED TO HIRE A CAR DUE TO THE VOLCANOE CANCLEING FLIGHTS AND THE COST OF THE HIRE CAR WAS OVER 500 EUROS FOR 12 HOURS. I THINK LEVERAGING OFF A TIME LIKE THIS IS TAKING ADVATAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS. DUE TO THIS I WOULD NOT BE USING THIS CAR RENTAL AGAIN. HOWEVER HAVING A VEHCILE AVLAIBLE SOLVED THE ISSUE.;
