First contact by email they were really nice and offered me the best price and conditions compared with other companies. In the day I arrived, I sent an email saying that I was not going to arrive at the time I made the reservation and they answered me that they would hold the reservation. I arrived almost two hours later and there was no problem.

I pointed out a dent on the back left wheel arch of the car when I received it and was assured that it had already been recorded. However, upon returning the vehicle, I was told I would be charged €500 for that same dent.

I immediately sent through photos proving the damage was already there when we collected the car, but after four days I still haven’t received any feedback.

To make matters worse, we specifically booked an SUV for our trip, but were given a vehicle with very low ground clearance instead. When we queried this, we were rudely told it was the only option available and that we could “take it or leave it.”

Overall, a very disappointing experience. The car itself was fine, but the service and handling of the situation were unacceptable.

Easy to get and return the car. The attendand was really nice. The only complaint is that the car was not so clean inside.

Location were very efficient and helpful in providing a vehicle that would suit our needs for a wonderful week in Tuscany. An easy walk from the station in Firenze, there were no issues, plus there pricing was much better than the larger competitors.

We tried to contact them around 7 pm and they didn't answer. We arrived at 7:02 pm and there was no one at reception, and we had to pay a €20 fine for the delay. They didn't give us an invoice for that amount. And we saw that in fact there was still a company employee arriving at the garage with other customers, so they could have received the car.

A way for them to make money unfairly.

easy to take the car in Firenze, a smal car is better for driving in te city .
buy I it was difficult to find the place to give back the car in Fumicino, this was the only bad experience.

I had a very frustrating experience with Locauto.

I returned the car almost a month ago, and I’m still unable to pay for the reported damages — not because I don’t want to, but because it has been impossible to get in touch with anyone who can actually help me complete the payment. And they do know my insurance coverage is about to expire.

I have tried contacting them through every available channel: phone, chat, web forms, and email — and received no meaningful response.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to be very cautious when dealing with this company. Customer support is essentially non-existent when you actually need it.

Smooth experience, very easy and convenient to rent and return the car.

Staff at both office and the garage were excellent! The first gave great directions how to depart and re enter the pick up drop off location without getting ZTL tickets. The second very kind on pick up and drop off.
