Excellent experience with Locauto during our trip to Sicily. We collected the car in Palermo, where the staff were welcoming, professional, and very helpful. Everything was explained clearly, and the collection process was smooth and stress-free.

I used this company because Euro car would not rent me a car without a current Int’l license but this company did and we’re very friendly and helpful

Pick up at Palermo airport was quick although finding the actual car was more difficult clearer instruction or a map woild have been helpful. The car was clean we had no problems and it drove for over 1000 km without any problems. The return at Catania airport was a nightmare the signs were very small and not at all junctions. Giving us stat nav location would have been helpful. Car return at Catania was quick and efficient once we found it.

The paperwork at Palermo airport was quick and the car collection point just a short walk away. Our only complaint would be the condition of the car. It had various bits of damage (which was ok - they were all properly noted on the contract) but the car was dirty both inside and out. The interiors of the front doors were scuffed and the carpets were dirty. Other than that we had no problems and the return procedure at Catania airport was all ok. No hidden surprises!

We took the car from the airport and gave it back in Palermo city.

rented a car for 10 days in August, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, straightforward, and very professional.

One thing I particularly appreciated was that I received a detailed overview of the vehicle by email, including the existing damage that had already been documented. This made everything very transparent and gave me peace of mind when picking up and returning the car.

The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire rental process. I also appreciated that they clearly understood that the vehicle had not been thoroughly inspected before or after the rental, so there was no unnecessary questioning or suspicion about whether I had caused any of the existing damage.

Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely rent a car from them again. Highly recommended!
