Good staff, car was okay

Good car and a good know-how

We were early & the station wagon we had ordered was not available & the suggested that we took a SUV, which we tried 2 but our luggage would not fit. So we asked if we can wait for a wagon(which we had researched to make sure our 4 suitcases would fit.) After 3/4 hr, they rang & said a Volkswagon Pesset was available, which we took & drove more then 1600klms from Venice, Puglia Calabria to Amalfi & returned the car to Salerno. A wonderful car to drive.heaps of storage & leg space. Easy return. Overall a awesome experience.

Not a single negative remark to make, which is very rare wirh car renting companies.

I recently completed a rental with Locauto, Venice Marco Polo Airport and the overall experience was excellent from pick up to drop off. The car provided was only a few weeks old and was very clean and had everything needed for my trip. I’d consider the car provided during the rental as excellent value for money. I would highly recommend Locauto to those visiting the Venice area and I will use them again if I return.

Perfect service, nice new car, no deposit needed

Picking up the car at the office was very easy, the staff members took our details and promptly gave us all the information we needed. They people who showed us the car were also very good and professional. Really liked booking through this company and i will be using them again.

I booked a car via VIP Cars (Res: G93364929) with a strict "Full-to-Full" fuel policy. At pick-up, Locauto Venice Airport staff handed me an official printed guide stating in bold: "REMEMBER TO FILL UP THE TANK BEFORE THE DROP OFF."
I strictly followed their written instruction and paid €49.60 to fill the tank right before returning it. However, the drop-off staff completely ignored my receipt. They falsely claimed my contract had a "Prepaid Fuel" option and refused to refund my €49.60.
Locauto received the car with a completely full tank that I paid for, yet they refused to adjust the bill. They are essentially getting paid twice for the same tank of gas. This is double-charging and unjust enrichment. I am currently escalating this to get my money back. I strongly warn other tourists to be careful with their misleading guide sheets and hidden charges.

The car was clean, technically sound, neat, tidy, and with a full tank of fuel at the time of rental.
There are quite simple procedures required for pick-up and drop-off.

Worst experience for a rent car company.
Worst service, consumer decieving, and very expensive, fraud-ish business.

Employees told me i can return the car 24 hrs when I was renting a car and i signed. Checked the document thing that it says 24 hrs.
The next day morning got a quote that says only 12 hrs. Returned the car with using it only 13 hrs and half, and asked the employee if there's any additional charge, and he said no.

After passing the security gate in the airport, got an alert from credit card app that a transaction for additional charge has been made from Locauto.
Went out of security gate and showed them the very first document I got that says 24hrs, but they just kept saying they cant do anything cuz I already signed.
What a stupid thing! No reason to get a employee there if u cant do anything for the service. In the return place.
I wish I could give minus stars for a review. Genuinely

that I could rent without an international driving permit .... no one seems to know about it, haven't needed one for 30+ years and completely surprised when Eurocar wouldn't rent to us

The smart check-in was very useful, the pick up of the vehicle took less than 10 minutes and the return even less.

The Check in and Check out was fast.
The car was nice and clean.
Staff was friendly
