We had rented car for 8 days. Almost new car (Peugeot 2008, 3800km), short waiting (only 5min) and friendly customer service. It was then easy to find to Locauto (Car rentals, 3rd floor, outside). There we got our car quickly. And funny thing happened there: When the person responsible for giving the car noticed we were from Finland, he told that his name is Teuvo' (according to Teuvo Länsivuori - a famous Finnish motorcycle race driver). I believe Jarno Saarinen and Teuvo Länsivuori are quite known in Italy. Teuvo handled process quickly, 10 points!

Car was perfect for alps and also the return-process was quick and easy. No problems at all, everything fine. (Well, of course if you'll take the best insurance, that's costly, but that's your own choice).

I’ve got the car that I expected to get. The staff was friendly.
I should also mention that the car was left in a reverse gear on rental parking, that ALMOST caused accident at the beginning of the rental period. Fortunately I reacted quickly and managed to avoid it, but the situation was stressful.

No fuss rental service, great for visiting the dolomites. We were given an upgraded vehicle which was brand new with less than 1000kms.

Check in and check out was seamless and quick.

Easy to book...easy pick up....easy drop off...no hidden sneaky costs.

I've tried a few other options, but Locauto is definitely my go-to option for Italy. Hopefully they're in more other countries. Will definitely always book with them in the future. Has always been an easy and smooth experience and transaction!

Smooth sailing all the way. I rented an SUV for two weeks. Cross border travel included. The vehicle was new and very comfortable. The staff were competent, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Easy return to airport.No complications. Very happy with the service. 😃

Wasn’t the friendliest service, but it was fast, efficient and fair. The whole booking process, car collection, and car return was smooth, simple, and and stress free, and i didn't feel like they were trying to get more money out of me like a lot of car companies do. And finally car worked great. Would definitely recommend.

The instructions on how to pick up and how to deliver could be better. But apart from that everything was good.

there is some dispointing for un flexable policy, it make its price is look good, but not as avis or sixt acctually.

Here is what happened: A month ago, I booked a car with Locauto online at a great price (about 80% of what other rental companies were charging). However, the booking was registered under my wife's driving licence. On the day of pick-up, since I was the one who was going to drive, we only prepared my driving licence and forgot to bring hers. The Locauto staff refused to release the car to us because of this. In the end, we had no choice but to rent a car right there on the spot at an incredibly extortionate and unreasonable price.
nlike other international rental companies that allow flexibility—such as modifying the main driver on the spot or adding a spouse—Locauto strictly insisted that the driver's license must match the original online registration exactly. They refused to make any adjustments, leaving us stranded. It feels like a policy designed to trap tourists who make an honest mistake, forcing them into paying extortionate walk-in rates. I highly recommend international travelers avoid them and pay a bit more for a company with reasonable customer service.

Very fast, straight to the point, no hidden fees, me and my fiance was visiting from HK and were a bit worried about being sold into “shady” car rentals. Locauto is nothing like that, and have been very professional. I recommend.

Overall, we had a very good experience renting a car from Locauto at Venice Airport. Despite the high number of customers during the busy holiday season, we received our car quickly and the whole pickup process was smooth and well organized. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful.
The only small issue was that the car hadn’t been cleaned very thoroughly after the previous customers, especially the interior. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and I would happily rent from Locauto again.

Reliable company to rent from. Hired the car to travel around the Dolomites and was the easiest experience. Pick up and drop off was seamless and no issues at all. They even upgraded us for free to a larger car which was lovely. Would recommended!

Locauto organised a car for me when the other major car rental companies couldn't. I would have no hesitation in using Locauto again in Europe.
