For 240 years we have provided funerals, both modern & traditional, with reverence and compassion, for all faiths and the non-religious. We can facilitate cremations, burials, direct cremations and remembrance services. We bring our Lodge difference to every service offered including our own legal team (providing wills, probate and lasting POAs) and our highly skilled masons providing unique memorials, inscriptions and design work. We have a dedicated Funeral Plan Team who can help with planning for the future with a funeral plan or funeral wishes. We also supply floral tributes, Orders of Service, cremation urns and keepsake jewellery.

Jane was very kind, she gave us great advice when we were unsure of what to do. Nichola and Mary kept us informed at every stage of the process. First class funeral director
From the very first meeting with Jane, to the last she listened to our requirements, guided us through the various options and explained the funeral arrangements. All done with empathy but professionally. The funeral was conducted perfectly by Paul and his assistants guided our family as they guided family pall bearers. On an extremely sad day Lodge Brothers took the stress out of the funeral. Can thoroughly recommend.

We couldn’t praise Lodge Brothers highly enough, especially Jane, what was a very difficult and sad time for the family. We were dreading the funeral arrangements. However, our first meeting with Jane put us all at ease, she spent endless time talking us through the procedure with kindness and compassion, and the celebrant Paul, who she recommended was totally brilliant. The result was a funeral which was as perfect as any funeral could possibly be.

Funeral for Bill Leworthy
Personal service and knowledgeable staff who were patient and understanding of our needs. Jane at Surbiton kept in touch the throughout the whole period of arrangement and burial. Steve, the conductor was a calming influence and ensured the whole funeral went without a hitch. He telephoned me the day before and put my mind at ease.

Funeral for Bill Leworthy: The funeral for my dad was arranged…
The funeral for my dad was arranged beautifully. From the moment his body was collected from the care home, to when he was lowered into the ground, I couldn't have been more grateful for their respect, grace and expertise. Jane in the Surbiton office attended to every tiny aspect, suggesting ideas which we wouldn't have thought of, to make the funeral very special. She was very patient and knowledgeable, and the attention to detail and fulfilling our wishes was paramount - nothing was too much. Steve, the conductor rang me the day before to put my mind at ease and was exemplary on the day; a calm pillar of grace and respect with a keen eye for exactly what was required of him. Thank you so much for making this emotional day trouble free and a beautiful send-off for an amazing man.

Exactly what you need during an emotionally turbulent time
Lodge Brothers were personally recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. Jane was sympathetic and friendly but also calm, organised, helpful and efficient. Five star service
I had no experience in arranging a funeral. Jane was a fantastic guide. Everything was explained clearly and time given to make decisions. On the day everything went perfectly and the conductor Duncan and his time were a reassuring presence. The whole team were a great support at such a difficult time.

Family funeral, Lodge Brothers gives a very personal…
Lodge Brothers gives a very personal and compassionate service from start to finish.
They cover every aspect of the funeral, always allowing plenty of time for questions and discussion. They are supportive and respectful, especially at the most sensitive times ,such as viewing a loved one in the chapel of rest, or at the graveside. No detail is overlooked, even providing bottled water in the limousines, very welcome in times of stress. They also came to my rescue, returning my handbag very swiftly after I had left it in the limousine, and with absolute care.

Jane from Lodge Bros Surbiton, guided me through the Funeral planning with gentleness and expertise. When I was struggling to make decisions, she made helpful suggestions but never imposed herself.
