Extremely Satisfied

We found Longsons to be an extremely professional estate agents to deal with. We were in a chain of five and Kyle Clarke of Longsons was very pro active in finding out the situation of buyers and sellers up and down the chain. He went above and beyond in keeping us informed over what turned out to be a long and protracted process brought about by people lower in the chain. Longsons and Kyle in particular were a pleasure to deal with throughout.

Highly Recommended

Lonsons in Watton were recommended to us by 3 separate locals, one of whom was a Landlord, and we were not disappointed. We had 2 1/2 sales chains, each time we had problems lower down in the chain with the 3x 1st time buyers. Longsons had good communication and advice throughout, and we would definitely use them again.

Incompetent staff on booking viewings!

Abysmal service from this company regarding booking a viewing. I arranged to view a 4 bed bungalow in Ashill on Saturday 7th September. I was the first person who had asked to view. I said I wanted to see it ASAP as it was a lovely bungalow and I knew it would get snapped up quickly. I have been house hunting for 2 years and hardly seen anything I want to view! I was told I couldn't see it before Saturday as the owners had dogs and worked and the agent couldn't get in to the house on week days. I said if anything changes please do let me know as I can view any day any time and I absolutely love it. Today I get a call saying my viewing is cancelled as someone has viewed it and an offer has been accepted. To say I'm upset is an understatement. So I've lost the chance of viewing one of the only properties I have liked because Andrew did not take any notes down that I wanted to view it earlier! I should have viewed it before the people who have managed to view and offer on it! I'm sure I would have offered on it and got my chance to get that property instead! I would give zero stars if I could. Very unprofessional and total incompetence! I would suggest Andrew needs further training! It doesn't take a lot to write a note saying when a potential buyer is able to view!

Same as the others

Apart from the brochure they didn't really do much else. We notified them of an interested person who eventually purchased our property so they didn't have to work too hard. Didn't hear a great deal from them and even when the individual who was handling us left the company they didn't even tell us. No better or worse than any other estate agent.

Longsons Estate Agents in Watton were…

Longsons Estate Agents in Watton were engaged to sell my 90 year old parents Bungalow in Hingham this year and I am delighted to say that their client care and customer service was without doubt second to none!! Louisa, Nick, Luke and Andrew were outstanding throughout the entire process. Their willingness to help out (with me living in London) to act as witness signatures and travel back and forth to their property exceeded all my expectations. Commenting as a landlord

I can only comment as a landlord, I have no experience of the sale side.
Unfortunately my experience as a landlord with Longsons has not been great and I am now financially out of pocket. Their communication is abysmal. Inspections are carried out but faults are not reported back until it's too late. The old saying of no news is good news does not apply here. Shop around before you commit.

I was buying through Longsons so didn’t expect much contact but Imogen called me nearly every week. She had been in touch with my solicitor and provided reassuring updates. The team actually asked me if I would like to view the property again, I went 3 times in total which was very helpful. Thank you to the Longsons team.

Selling a property through Longsons - Watton Branch.

I recently sold my property through Longsons Watton Branch. What a fantastic team- Luke, Luisa, Nick and Imogen (who is now in the Swaffham office). Having asked in total three estate agents to value my property, I decided to go with a Longsons a small, local, estate agent which doesn't have the large, detached, corporate selling pressure I found the others did. During my initial meeting with Luke, he listened to everything I was looking for in an estate agency and he worked everything through with me courteously and sensitively. His knowledge and experience of the market was very helpful and it was clear from the start that he would be working for ME, the vendor. Communication with the team was excellent at every stage with at least one weekly phone from them to touch base, even if there was nothing to report during the sale at that time. It was great NOT to have to worry about feeling forgotten under a pile of other vendors as I have experienced when I've sold previous properties.
As a client, Luke, Luisa, Nick and Imogen all made me feel welcome, heard, understood and supported through every step. Every sale stage was explained thoroughly and if I had any questions, it was wonderful to always find a member of staff at the end of the phone rather than ringing and ringing and having to leave a message on an answerphone (as I've experienced with other estate agents). Every email I've sent has always been responded swiftly and the team's conduct has always been impeccable and with a sense of humour. This is the first estate agents where I feel that the staff can really relate to what it's like to sell a property and want to genuinely help, rather than just reach targets on a monthly basis which is what I was left feeling with the national, larger estate agents. Luisa has a wonderful approach with clients and her authenticity when going through the process with clients is very welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Longsons to anyone thinking about selling their property. You will definitely be in control of the sale of your largest and probably more important asset. You will be gently guided by the wealth of experience the team has. I will definitely be using Longsons again for any future sales I may have. Thank you to all of you and keep the wonderfully warm, personal approach you have.

When purchasing a property it’s always…

When purchasing a property it’s always good to have an agent who does their home work, knows what’s needed to be done and has good customer service after all it’s an expensive business purchasing property …. So making sure you get exactly what you want with the right assistance and information is vital.

So when we purchased a property through Longsons we had the assistance of Gary Long who we found to be helpful, not pushy or argumentative but professional, polite, knowledgeable, proactive and accommodating right to the very end of the purchase.

If I was to purchase another property through Longsons then would definitely be asking for Gary Long’s assistance.

Outstanding Service

Bought a house through Longsons and was amazed at their level of service. It was a difficult purchase due to the seller who seemed totally out of his depth, at every stage Kevin and Kyle were there holding his hand and keeping the process on track.
