Terrible customer service

I paid £75 for a Saturday delivery and I got concerned on Friday night when I didn’t receive a delivery slot! I called them up just to find out that they misplaced my parcel! Who knows when I would have found about if I hadn’t called!! The next day I got an e-mail saying they will deliver it on Sunday through Parcelforce. I called Parcelforce and they said that they don’t do Sunday deliveries and that they didn’t even receive my boxes from LOVESPACE!!! I called LOVESPACE and they said that they can only deliver during the week until 6pm. I explained that since I’m at work this is not possible and they refused to provide any alternative arrangements, even if they misplaced my boxes!! It was their fault and they didn’t even try to compensate for this! I finally agreed for the next Saturday but I asked for a refund of my delivery fee because I didn’t get my boxes on the agreed date and they refused!! Never using this company again!!! I had to move into a new flat and not have essential things like pillows and towels for an entire week because they were all in storage!!!

they lost/stole my guitar worth £2,000

I stored my guitar which cost around £2,000. However, on the delivery day, the company did not deliver my guitar and it takes around 20 calls per day until i could get to talk to them. Each day I called, they would have different stories to where my guitar is. Not to mention all the lies they have given me which is impossible to follow. They claimed that my guitar is definitely in the warehouse but failed to locate it. It took them over 4 weeks until they start locating it. Moreover, the staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful saying that it is not their fault my guitar is missing. They show no responsibility in this matter and I had to send them the picture of my guitar several times as they 'cannot locate your pictures'. They simply do not care about their duty.
Before i store my guitar i called in and the staff said the case i have was fine. Now that they cant find it, they said the problems with the case when it is their responsibility to take care of the customer's storage. Goes to show how this company only come up excuses but not solution. Irresponsible.

We ask customer's sending in guitars to use a hard case to keep them safe in transit and storage. Soft bags, like the one you used, don't provide the same level of protection and we find that labels are more likely to fall off them. Once this happens, we are not able to track your item. We believe this is what has happened to your guitar. Our team has been working hard to locate your guitar, but have not been able to do so as yet.

DO NOT USE THEM - ITEMS GET LOST/STOLEN

Items including several PS4 Gaming discs worth over £100 were missing from one of my boxes. That box itself had been wrapped extra duct tape that did not belong to me; others items inside were rearranged and full of dirt. It clearly indicates it had been opened. When I reported the concern, they asked me to show proof that what items were in there when I packed them and what were missing, including receipts of those. I don’t think anyone who uses storage service would expect things would be missing and therefore take photos for every single item stored. There is also a concept called gifts where those items do not necessarily have receipts. I explained my concern, and they said many customers falsely claim compensation for missing items. It is rude and disrespectful just because some unfortunate event happened to them that I was treated as if I were to steal from them whilst I’d much prefer those items returned than compensated. When I chose to use their services I did not treat them as thieves yet they treat me as one.

Finding out about love space was a blessing in disguise

Finding out about love space was one of the best discoveries of my life,they saved my parents time from having to take a lot of things back from uni and instead had a smoother journey than they had ,in contrast to the beginning of the year where it was a huge hassle to take the things we packed to uni, thanks love space for saving my parents and my self hassle and I would gladly use your service again,without doubt.

Thought that storing companies were supposed to store your things and NOT STEAL THEM

Please stay away from this company, everything about it is absolutely terrible. The whole experience with them was just horrendous and their customer experience is by far the worse part.
THEY STOLE MY 60£ YOGA MAT and did not give me a refund for it. They dismissed me and ignored me. JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE THIEVES DOESNT MEAN I AM.
Also, the boxes came in a terrible condition they were wet and my things inside changed colour from the humidity they were exposed to. I don't know where they had my stuff but what I do know is that my bedsheets turned yellow.....
Plus there were other things missing too.
Please stay away from this company if you want to get your things back and if you don't want your things to get mold......
I don't understand how a company can claim that it is for students when they steal from students.

Horrible company to use

Horrible company to use. The lack of good customer service is appaling and probably the cause of the downfall of the business. Used it once because of the recommendation I received from my Uni. My stuff were collected thankfully, however upon receiving my items after many calls due to bad delivery drivers The box that I had specifically bought for my pots, pans, cups the whole lot, held only damaged items (as well as the box itself being broken), I went back and forth with a rude assistant on the phone who didnt even want to give me a damage form, this was after calling about 7x because nobody seems to be handling the phone lines. Thankfully, the person that I did the online chat did send me one. After sending a whole lot of pictures from every angle and filling a form, it took them a month to tell me how much they would give me, but till this day I am still waiting for an actual refund from the finance department. People my advice is don't use them. It's gotten to a point where I think that the person handling the area relating to damages is ignoring my emails.

Disappointment after disappointment

I still haven't received my REFUND yet. Last time I spoke with Precious about the storage monthly payment and she said I would get a refund for another month due to the delay with returning all my boxes. I tried to return all my boxes since the 9th of September but there was a problem with the warehouse etc. The problem was finally resolved on the 25th of September (the monthly payment ended before this date). I chatted with Dominic on the 7th of October to ask about my refund after trying to call them multiple of times (they didn't answer). It is the 14th of October today, and I still haven't received my refund.

Also, 3/4 of my boxes were very badly damaged when they got to me. If I could attach photos of my boxes, I would.

Worst experience ever

WELL. Where do I even start? On first look LOVESPACE seems like the perfect company for students; they provide materials, collection and delivery. The collection itself was quite nice, it went smoothly and the drivers seemed kind. The return though, was a huge let down. I updated my phone number 2 days before the delivery date, as suggested by a staff and was assured that they will update it. The info was never passed on to the driver, which directly resulted in my boxes not delivered. I had to live for more than 6 days without any essentials - I don't even have a cup to drink water from! Not to mention the second delivery which was delayed for HOURS. The company admitted that the first failed delivery was their mistake and promised that I will be refund and compensate fairly. I asked for refund on the failed delivery but got refunded on the second one instead which was 20 pounds less than the first one. And nothing at all with this "compensate fairly" thing. LOVESPACE broke their promise. I felt like they were just saying pretty words to trick their customers and run after getting their money. It also took like forever for the customer service to reply my email - sometimes even more than a week despite me chasing them every few days. And the agent at the other end of the phone couldn't be of much help either. Overall it was a really disappointing and enraging experience. I will never use their service again and I discourage anyone from using LOVESPACE unless you are prepared to deal with the least trustworthy, most unfair and worst customer service/company ever existed.

Everything great about this company

They had a very clear pricing and no hidden charges, everything is stated black and white. They are quite responsive with the emails and orders and I think that they just did really well in general.

My son came home for summer from uni…

My son came home for summer from uni and put all his belongings in to lovespace storage. when they delivered his items back in september every one of the boxes was damaged one even had a footprint on it when my son opened them up most of it was broken plates glasses mugs most expensive item was his printer this was covered in scratches and the front panel was hanging off.
he filled out the forms to claim as advised by there customer services .
today he had an email from them saying they are not liable for any of it ARE THEY SERIOUS !!! they offered him £20 as a good will gesture REALLY!! how do they expect a student to replace everything that was damaged with £20 do not use lovespace we never will again disgusting company

For example, fragile items such as crockery should be packed inside a crockery box, which has extra protection to keep items safe and sound during transit and storage.

horrible customer service for past 4 orders. will never use again

first off, I noticed that only 4-5 star reviews show up on the lovespace website. it is obviously rigged to make potential customers think they're the best there is.

I once had to pay 70 for a taxi just to go get the big boxes from some faraway depot cause they would not redeliver to me for some reason and they insisted I go get the boxes myself.

3 weeks ago, I ordered for boxes return and they ended up sending it to some place miles away. they had to send another driver to pick up my boxes from the wrong address the next morning.

last week, my 2 boxes were separated when I ordered it for return on a specific day, and when I called the hotline the next day, all they could say was "just wait for it, it's on its way". no apologies or anything to assure me, just told me to wait. this shouldn't have happened in the first place. I ordered for my boxes to return on the same day. why did it separate from each other and 1 get delayed?

however much more expensive local storage might be, at least I'll have the peace of mind that it's there and I can just hire someone to get it, rather than be antsy all the time and have to wait an entire day for my stuff to not even arrive. don't be fooled

It was the worst!

They don't have any control over the transport, the most essential function of Lovespace.

I had to get an Uber to save my stuff in my work office because they got +8h delay. I called +15 times to customer services and they would tell you whatever. 15 calls during 5h and nobody could explain to me what was going on. I really thought that it was a scam.

I almost lost my flights and my stuff. It was a crazy stressful day.

Bad service

I have totally two orders with them. The first one is ok, worth the price. However some accident happened to a box of the 2nd order — it is broken and left in the warehouse. When I call the customer service, they just say they will investigate. But that never happened. The process has been repeated and lasted for more than 30 days, and it still has not been solved!

Delivery/pick up matched the ETA, pick up for free. Wish there were more time slots/options for delivery, as they only offered 7-18 or 7-12 and I needed it to be delivered after 12. Direct debit to ensure you don’t miss a bill.

They often have discount codes or offers which is a plus!

Overall, I’m happy with the service, and would recommend to a friend!

I can't even explain how bad the service was, contacted both by email and phone call the support and all I was told is they don't know how to solve the issue. Totally untrained and unqualified people working for this company. If I could give 0 stars I would, I don't recommend their service at all.

I had such a bad experience with Lovespace please dont fall for their gimmicks.

Honestly speaking, this was quite an expensive option especially as a student ( they were advertised and reccommended by my uni, but when i checked out and viewed the total bill it was extremely overpriced and there were so many hidden charges for example : collection fee and delivery fee). That was my fault I guess because I compared a few companies and I fell for their " user friendly " webpage.

1) I had issues with Collection.

They driver couldnt find my boxes and there wasnt a way for them to communicate with me as the driver collecting the boxes were from a third party source. Lovespace absolutely couldnt be arsed to help me with their phone lines perpetually being ' engaged '... So I had left the country and was already very stressed , the company still wouldnt pick up and only manage to solve my issue 4 DAYS AFTER my initial collection date...

2) Issue with DELIVERY

I had initially selected and paid for my boxes to be delivered on a certain date. However, apparently the transaction didnt go through and I only realised upon returning to uni.. Unfortunately then I had to pay extra for the premium service, the boxes to be delivered on the following day. 39£ later, they made me stay home the entire day waiting for the boxes fo come but after waiting the ENTIRE DAY they didnt... When I tried to call through they said that they were ' going to check what and where the driver was and send an email to update '. LOL they didnt so I spent the weekend waiting,calling & emailing for nothing. Was actually convinced that they've misplaced my boxes because of how they kept redirecting me and giving me very vague answers about its whereabouts and when they were coming.

When I finally received the boxes, the driver was so non-chalent (he might not have known) but my items were damaged so that added extra sourness to my mood.I'm sure you guys can roughly imagine how LIVID I am. My whole experience with this TRASHY company has been nothing but absolute sh!t from start to end. The only thing they did smoothly was collecting the money.. LOL

I have been trying to get hold of someone to get my refund but apparently their lines are still facing overwhelming amounts of calls or they've blocked me🤷🏻‍♀️

TLDR : the company sucks at communicating internally, with customers and with their delivery drivers.. waste of time and money 10000/10 would not reccommend

Worst experience

Worst experience. They didn’t deliver one of my bags because they could not locate it. Then they said they located and the driver would deliver it but it wasn’t in the van apparently. Later they gave my parcel to their parcel company to deliver but still no correspondence. Hopefully this Monday I will get my bag because it’s been about two weeks now.

worth the price

Overall my experience with Lovespace was very positive and I was able to store my belongings for very little money, safely.
I found the booking experience and especially ordering the packing materials a little confusing.
Pick ups and drop offs ran very smoothly and the drivers were lovely.
I tried to call up Lovespace over the phone and I did find that people were rude and were not really there because they wanted to help. I found this frustrating and disappointing.
