I had a great experience learning the Chinese language. I have always been inquisitive about learning Chinese. LTL Flex classes have helped me improve my pronunciation.

The teachers are great, Winnie is exceptional and has really helped me with learning methods which will help me move forward on the learning journey. Jason was really helpful with understanding vocabulary and characters and providing links to related words and expressions. Alex, is also a great help and a pleasant personality

My weekly virtual 1-on-1 Mandarin sessions with Shayla have been great! She always expands our lesson beyond what's in the textbook - not only does she teach me related vocabulary and nuances between Taiwanese and Mainland usage, she also frequently provides historical and cultural background for phrases. Our conversations are always interesting and fun!

Staff are friendly and helpful, events are diverse and planned early. Easy to understand process for payment and planning. Lessons were managed timely and well-taught. Overall 10/10.

LTL is the second language school I have attended in China. LTL stands out because of its experienced teachers and the kind staff that is always ready to help you. After class LTL organizes many activities in which you discover Beijing, Chinese culture, and you can practice your Chinese outside of class ;). I definitely recommend this school!

I spend two amazing weeks at LTL Beijing. The classes were great and interactive, the teachers qualified and the overall experience amazing. There is also the possibility to take part in activities, i only went to KTV, but that was great too! 😊

My life in Beihai was a fairly interesting one. I went and stayed with a generous family. The school organized this home stay for me before my arrival after asking me questions about my preferences and any special considerations I may have. An added benefit was that the home was only 20 minutes away from the school by electric scooter. They did this and gave me a good teacher as well. The school had a small feel as there were only a few students there. However, it felt like there was little stratification or cliquishness with the students present. We would have activities frequently, typically the activities involved food and would happen on a weekly basis. My only critique that was not anyone's fault was that I got switched around between a few different teachers. Experiences may vary, as I heard this was an exceptional circumstance. Overall, this was a school that gave me the chance to learn Chinese in a setting where I felt the most freedom to express my thoughts in Chinese and learn vocabulary in an engaging way.

I had a great experience at LTL Beijing.
The staff is very friendly and approachable; The classes are personalized and in small groups which gives you dedicated attention and better results.
They also arranged my accomodation and were able to receive me on Saturday morning at 5 am in a Bank Holiday weekend. Talk about royal treatment ;)

Flexi Classes are awesome. I have been studying with Yoyo Chinese for several months, and although my Chinese has improved, my speaking seemed stuck. With Flexi Classes I get to speak more, learn at a faster pace, and compliment my Yoyo classes. Moreover, all of my teachers have been really kind and patient.

Had a great experience studying at LTL Taipei for the last month! Teachers Tammy and Shu 老師 were great and I got to learn/practice a lot of vocabulary, grammar, and speaking. I also got the opportunity to take a few one-on-one classes where I was able to customize my learning to topics related to my interests. The Taipei leadership were very communicative and organized lunch for the group at few times/week. I felt a strong sense of community with the other students as well as with the program leadership. Would highly recommend to people with any level of Chinese!

I had a great time learning Mandarin at LTL in Beijing. Our teacher was always helpful and patient, and encouraged us to speak a lot during classes, which I really enjoyed. The afternoon activities were also great to see more of Beijing, enjoy Chinese food and learn about Chinese culture.

I had such a great time over my 3 weeks in Seoul!! My teacher was lovely and really helpful, and there were only 2-3 people in my class so we could get very focused teaching. After classes we could go out for lunch together, which was a great opportunity to try new food and get to know students from different classes. I was paired with a really lovely homestay family about 30 minutes from the school who took care of me so well and cooked delicious meals. It's something a lot of people say, but I genuinely wish I could have stayed for longer than 3 weeks. All the staff and students were so kind, my homestay family truly became my friends, and overall it was such a welcoming environment. Thank you!!

I had a great time at the LTL! Tri and Tram were very lovely teachers, super friendly and supportive. There were also lots of fun activities outside of class, and I felt really welcome from day one.

Even as a near native speaker, I learned a lot, especially in reading and writing. Everyone speaks excellent English, so communication was easy. Definitely recommend!

I started my Korean classes 6 weeks ago at LTL in Seoul, and I’ve had an amazing experience so far.
All the teachers I’ve had were amazing.
Grammar, writing, listening, speaking everything is designed to give you useful skills and confidence.

Classes are held in small groups, which allows you to easily ask question and speak.
Every day, the staff takes you out to lunch, so you can socialize with other students. They also organize some evening activities.

The staff is genuinely caring, they regularly check in with you and are always here to help if you need anything.

Considering everything they offer, the prices are more than fair.
I highly recommend this school to anyone learning Korean!

I recently completed the 1 week 30 hour intensive course with LTL Beijing. I had a great teacher that tailored the program for my needs. Chinese is difficult to learn and the team was helpful, friendly and organized daily activities for students to immerse and converse in Chinese, making the learning fun.

TL Chengdu highly recommendable

I spent two months on a Chinese language course (intensive one-to-one lessons) at LTL Chengdu. My teacher was very strict and precise as regards pronunciation, translation and character writing (which helped me a lot, as an absolute beginner). She had a subtle understanding of semantic nuances, and she was very good at analysing and explaining syntactic structures. She had a rich knowledge of Chinese cultural contexts and backgrounds - and, last but not least, a fine sense of humour. Great! These two months provided me with a solid foundation for my further studies at home.
The administrative and organisational staff at LTL Chengdu are a rare combination of organisational efficiency, creative imagination in planning leisure as well as cultural activities and friendliness. Thank you so much! Chengdu as a (mega-)city is very stimulating, with a great variety of cultural attractions, furthermore providing multiple insights into everyday life in China. I can recommend Chengdu (and its LTL!) unreservedly in every respect.

The experience here has been amazing. The teachers, the staff, the environment. I love how it feels like a family and you dont feel judged. I have learned so much and made lifelong friends. My homestay was the best, we are even planning a visit to my home country. I loved everything, definitely recommend!

I’ve been taking Chinese Mandarin classes at LTL for years (4 years) now and I am 100% satisfied and 100% recommend it to every single learners or Chinese mandarin. The teachers are the best, they support our studying and focus on the acquisition and production of the language. The classes are 100% in Chinese which create the perfect environment for immersion, allowing the student to have a feel of what it is to be in a 100% chinese-speaking environment. There are course materials available on the website for free (script+audio) to prepare before class and also review everything afterwards. I bought a 12hours/month subscription and thinking about leveling up to 24 hours/month at some point. It fits my schedule as I am working and barely have enough time to focus on my language studies.
