The most incompetent customer service I've ever received.
They delivered a TV I bought online almost 2 weeks ago. A week ago they delivered to my house - no call and no notification while I was out. They just dropped off the TV. No communication about installation as we were told they would do when we visited the store. I had to follow up with email - everyday since to get something done. Always excuses - they didn't have my number which is utter rubbish; admission of error with no action; apologies without any action - basically a host of emails and online chats that resolved nothing until I asked to return the TV and said I'm going to file a complaint with Dubai consumer complaints department. I received an email from them stating "Kindly note that the below installation request is received after the cut off time of the team hence they will be scheduling on their next installation schedule." From a week ago? How does that work?
The installation company came today - said they were only notified this morning.
I would definitelycarefully consider the possibility of the headache I may encounter before making a purchase online here again.

The worst supermarket ever. Last week we bought dates from there. It had insects and worms in them. I have proof also of the same. Strict action need s to be taken againt the chain with regards to quality control. Many other items were also also spoilt including fruits, vegetables, biryani. Never ever going to that place again.

I had bought an Ikon iron from Lulu on Aug 19th 202. The iron was defected. The plug split and exposed live wires which is a safety hazard for me and my kids. I tried returning it to Lulu on 25 DEC 2021 saying that a replacement plug will not give me enough confidence to use this again, regardless if it was replaced and need a different brand iron. The manager Ansar P.A said to send it to the manufacturer as see what they have to say once it comes back. I repeated that I will not take this iron back even if it was replaced as the plug can split again and exposed live wires can potentially electrocute my kids. He insisted to send it to the manufacturer to see what they have to say.
Today on 21 JAN 2022, I waited for min 30 min at the desk to give me the iron. I opened up the iron and found out that it was drenched in water which was wrapped in plastic. I said I will not take this back as this is an electronic item it now defective. But Ansar P.A kept on insisting that the iron needs to be sent to the manufacturer to get it looked at before he replaces the iron. This is their problem not mine, I just need a replacement iron and I will walk home. He again insisted that it need to first go to the manufacturer before he gives me a replacement. Then I called his manager Ajith V.B to address this concern, Ajith then went ahead and said that he will give me a replacement.
I spent an over all 2 hours in store just to get a replacement for my defective iron. Why do I have to spend soo much of time and effort and stress to do this. Going forward, I will NOT buy any electronics from Lulu, rather Amazon or Noon where returns is just a swipe of a finger. I will be posting this across all social media.
Worst Customer & Delivery Service
I usually order via WhatsApp from the nearest Lulu store in my area but since the delivery personnel was off that day I tried to order via the website. It's my first and last. I ordered a few items that were on sale. Delivery is set the following day between 10AM-1PM. Nobody came. No one called. I tried their chat, the replies where switching between bot and a personnel who does not even reply as fast as the bot. I tried to call their number, they said sorry there was a delay and the delivery will come after 1 hour. That was 2:15 PM. At 3:15 no one called. Nobody came. They called around 5 PM while I was cooking dinner about 3 times. When I called them back they said they already left. The guy was even like amused at my follow-up. I asked "What about my delivery then? I've been waiting since morning" He said ok we will come. They came already before 9PM. On top of that, they said some of the items were out of stock so they will refund the money. Yes, it will take a week before this happens. So yes, I will never ever order online from them again.

I will never buy in Lulu hypermarket online. I ordered for a pair of shoes online 2 weeks ago. When it was delivered , I received an incorrect pair (both left side) . Tried to message them , I sent email, I even went to one of their store hoping to replace it.But again they refer me to customer service, asked me to wait for 3 days . Its been 4 days now I never received any follow up. What will with this shoes? I'm a regular customer in lulu but I'm really very disappointed. Shopping at Lulu and saw counter marked eco friendly. What a joke. They go paperless if give them your mobile number but don't explain that you need to give the number to not get the bill. My fault should have thought about it but the absolute worst is the amount of plastic bags they use at the eco friendly counter in which to pack everyone's groceries. Either go eco friendly or dont bother.
