Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 59 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the products ineffective, noting that they did not control odor as advertised and often failed to last for the promised duration, sometimes only hours. People frequently reported issues with product quality, including unpleasant scents, chemical smells, and products that caused rashes, irritation, or burning sensations. The high price point was a common concern, with many feeling that the products were overpriced given their poor performance and the need to reapply frequently. Several users also experienced problems with the product packaging, such as spray nozzles breaking, leaking, or becoming clogged, rendering the product unusable. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with the customer service, describing it as top-notch, pleasant, and helpful. Some reviewers also found certain products, particularly the cream or solid deodorants, to be effective for odor control and appreciated the aluminum-free formulation, with a few even noting smoother skin after use.

Product works for me. but Customer Service not

Product works for me especially the tube deodorant and body wipes, but their customer service is not good or reachable. Very difficult to cancel subscriptions. If ordering do not do the subscriptions as almost impossible to cancel.

Not worth the hype

Some friends of mine were talking about Lume. So of course I had to try it! I REALLY wanted this product to work. I was so excited to try it! But… my excitement left very quickly once I tried it. It definitely isn’t what it’s all hyped up to be😔 It definitely did not work for 72 hrs, or even 48 hrs, 12hrs…. In fact, by the end of the day once I was home, I felt I needed to shower😭 I kept using it though, thinking it would get better. Even in different weather types. It didn’t🙁 So unfortunately this product doesn’t work for everyone. I will be looking for something else now.

Bought the Lume lavender tube for all…

Bought the Lume lavender tube for all over body odor.
OMG 😲 this stuff is awful.
I smelled way worse BO after using thus. I threw it away. I smelled so bad it smelled like I hadn't bathed in weeks! And I had just showered an hour before this. False advertising. It doesn't work.

I bought the tangerine...no body odor…

I bought the tangerine...no body odor 24 hrs later...sure works better than any antiperspirant and deodorant that I have used in the past. Though I bought the deodorant, I was completely dry and odor-free. Can't wait to try the powder scent. Gave 4 stars because not completely loving the tangerine but it's ok.

Smell like a zombie

Bought the scent sampler pack. All 6 scents smelled awful, brand new. Has a sour off smell that others mentioned. The company said it was the active ingredient. And when put on, can be even worse. If you want to smell like rotting flesh, this is for you.

Stinks

Stinks!
I bought the lavender sage deodorant at target and was excited about it because it’s a clean product.. the whole point of a deodorant is to smell better right? The product by itself stink!!normally I love the scent of lavender or sage but this smell like A.s!! Despite the smell I thought maybe once it ‘s on the skin it was going change… NOPE it didn’t!! Now I am stinking too!! I had to wash it off after 10 minutes of wear!!
Worst by far of all the clean deodorant I have been trying!!

Your product is disgusting

Your product is disgusting. Both my wife (before she died) and daughter tried this deodorant and became ill from this. Dr. Klingman is selling a product that is dangerous to people and should go out of business.

Terrible customer service

Their customer service is terrible. The site sends you around in circles so that you cannot reach a person or accomplish what you need to do. I simply wanted to cancel a subscription because I have found that their product is substandard. They made it nearly impossible to do so.

OMG...Please just don't.

OMG... After applying to my "Lady Parts" as suggested by the owner on her commercials (and I don't smell btw) My Va Jay Jay lit up like a Christmas Tree~!!! Only to find out after reading the label that it contains Mandelic Acid~! Why the hell would you need Mandelic Acid in a deodorant. Mandelic Acid is used for chemical peels for acne. It is made from Almonds so if you have a nut allergy, look out~! Do not buy. Like another reviewer said, I'm going back to my Native deodorant. The owner should be ashamed. Nothing about a "patch test" as their support team is suggesting. Well, too late for that~! Now I have cold wash cloths and Hydrocortisone cream trying to tame the chemical peel I gave my Coochie~! Jesus~!!

If I could give this product a zero…

If I could give this product a zero rating, I would. It worked the first few times, and then it made me stink so bad. I have never had such BO in my life. Don't waste money on this product. I wouldn't put it anywhere on my body!

BUYER BEWARE: May Cause Allergic Reaction

I saw this cursed brand is having a comeback and I just wanna add that I tried Lume underarm deodorant once and NEVER AGAIN. As a hippie dippie, I was suckered in by the natural deodorant that's long lasting claims, popped it on for 12 hour flight to Europe. Ohmygod. Massive rash, puffy welts under my arms so painful I couldn't put my arms down, had to buy calamine lotion. Thoughts and prayers to anyone who actually used this on their kittycat. As a rule, any brand wanting you to put products down their is wack. Do not buy. Just stick with Native and stink a lil, but at least you'll smell like girl scout cookies.

Horrible products!

This is the worst product I’ve ever bought ! It’s cheap quality and smells bad ! Leaves residue that it’s hard to remove off clothing and definitely doesn’t last 72 hours ? Well how can you verify that , is someone that doesn't shower for that long ? The lies of those people are beyond belief ! I bought the whole line and the stick deodorant is a joke , the container it’s garbage it broke the top second time I used it ! Then the deodorant I used it a few times and it was gone ! Really ? How is this possible ? Waste of money and I really think it’s not good , it’s a paste that it’s not working and it’s hard to put on in a stick deodorant… and the tube to use in other parts of the body ? Ugh ! This idea it’s stupid , and to ruin your skin and clothing ? In a spray form maybe but not those products ! I’ll stick with the drug store products are by far better quality that this !

Not so good

So I tried Lume, I bought a 0.5 oz soft powder invisible cream from Target for 3.99. So glad I tried this sample size. It didn't work as well as they advertise. First, and this is my own fault, I realized it's just a deodorant not an antiperspirant big difference. However I used it as a deodorant and found out after a couple of hours that it didn't have staying power it lost the scent.
So now even if they come out with an under boob, fupa antiperspirant I wouldn't buy it.
