Lumē doesn't work as it says. Does NOT last "72 hours" its just a strong smell and only lasts an hour. Its the equivilant of putting on lotion. Dont fall for the hype.

There is a new article on LUME. It says if you have "INTERTRIGO" these are the steps to treat it before you use LUME. Interesting, are they suggesting I had this problem "BEFORE" I used their product? I've never had it before using LUME & I guarantee you I won't ever have it again cause I'll NEVER use LUME AGAIN!!!
Update: I am a Senior woman who developed a "SERIOUS JOCK ITCH" problem from this product everywhere I used it. Wrote to LUME & they had the nerve to say "I" must have used to much of it. A DAB as instructed. Now I have an ER bill, medication bills & who knows what else will come my way. Embarrassing, uncomfortable & irritating ! I'm looking for a good lawyer to stop this from ever happening to anyone else. SHAME ON U LUME!!!
I ordered a 3 pack stick deodorant. The cost was $36.00, FREE SHIPPING on orders over $25.00 was on their website. My receipt also had $0.00 for shipping. I took the top off one & noticed there was product on the sides of the top. I checked to see if the strip on top was sealed, it was. I looked under the other two caps, same thing. Sent pics to LUME. They would send a label to return the product. I rarely shop online just for this reason. Put the unopened two in a box headed to the thrift store. I had opened one & had to twist it 20+ times before the product came out. Got a response saying they would give me a refund minus the shipping. Shipping was free on website, $0.00 shipping charged on my order form. Out of the $36.00 I paid, they refunded me $13.00. So the free shipping cost me $23.00. What a scam!!!

The number of people who get on here and leave a one star review is interesting. So interesting, I decided to read them. I immediately noticed they all had something in common - the writers just bought a tube/stick/whatever and started using it.

Then they complain about still stinking. Of course they still stink - they didn’t detoxify their stinky bits first! If you read and follow the instructions, you’ll succeed in killing off all those bacteria that make you smell. Once done, the deodorant’s natural anti-bacterial properties help to keep you from becoming stinky again.

It’s been working great for both me and my wife over the past five years. The only thing we’ve noticed is that since they were bought out by Harry’s the stuff that’s available in retail stores doesn’t seem to work as well.

BEWARE! At first i loved the smell (minted cucumber), but after i started to sweat the scent was really bad, it does not work any better than "Secret"...actually not as long...this is a bad purchase, its over priced and does not do what they advertise it to do, they make it hard to get a refund or place a review on their site...i truly believe it to be a scam...they got my money, don"t let them get yours...

Ran into a big display at W.mart. bought the cream in light powder scent. Not sure about the others but
DO NOT BUY this scent. It smells horrid and even worse on pits.
I'm out 12 bux! I don't have money to waste... Thanks alot Lume...

The Ray guy below is way off on his assumptions about our incompetent usage. And This product has been out for 2 years so you're blowing smoke when you said you've used it over 5 years.

I Have Never had a Deodorant NOT Work. Lume is the Exception. The First time I used it it seemed to work. The Next Day After a Shower I Used it in the pits. Within a Few Hours My BO Was the Worst I Had ever Smelled. I was embarrassed to Go in Public Had to Cancel on an Event as I Had to go Home and Shower. Tried it One Last Time. And Couldn't believe the Odor was Worse than the Last time. I have never in my entire life even if I forgot deodorant smelled That Bad. I Gaged Myself I waited to Buy it because it was so Expensive. Finally bought it with no Chance to Get a Refund. Threw it in the Garbage. The last Time I ever Buy ANYTHING Based on a TV Ad. Completely Angry at the Waste of Money.

Used it for the first time today, soft powder scent, It smells so much worse than any body odor I’d have, it honestly reeks. Waste of good money.

Tired of this company spamming me with emails. It has already been at least seven today. Will never buy this product.

Lume made all these promises and only made my life worse. I got a large amount of large painful chaffing under my breasts. Along with that in that area as well under my little belly flap they both reeked of tuna. It is so beyond disgusting. While the chaffing heals the smell will not go away. I had to buy a special brand of body wash to get rid of the smell from under my stomach.
It was a complete waste of money. Oh and it sure didn’t last for 72 hours.
I’m going to put this review on every platform I can find hoping to warn every single person interested in buying this bogus fakery of a product.

I am so sorry I spent $30 for this product because simply stated It Doesn’t Work please save your money don’t be fooled by false advertisement like I was. I stopped using Degree which worked well and actually lasted 48 to 72 hrs to use Lume. My cousin was raving about it so I spent the money sadly to say to purchase it; I should have realized my cousin wears a lot of perfume so she may not realize IT DOESN’T WORK. I wish I could get my $30 back because it also burned me at one point!! This deodorant should be sold at the $1 store maybe not even there sorry gynecologist you got this one wrong back to Degree for me!!

I put Lume on my boyfriends feet, because they stunk so bad. He was amazed it's been 5 months and he says his feet haven't stunk since he used it. I agree I haven't smelled an unpleasant odor either.

So bummed!! I bought the lavender sage Lume underarm stick and went to play pickleball. I ended up smelling worse after an hour than I did with my regular deodorant…and for double the cost. Going to keep seeking out alternatives.

The worst deodorant I have ever used. For the price I definitely was expecting it to be something amazing. I never sweat a lot under my arms after using Lume I had so much underarm sweat and was just flat out embarrassingly musky. I’m going back to Dove as soon as my armpits are no longer raw from the Lume zero stars would not recommend

I agree with the person who said it stinks. It has a strange and unpleasant smell, regardless of the the scent. It also only works about 48 hours, not the 72 hours as stated. It's very over priced and for those reasons it was a waste of my money. I was glad to see other companies have come out with similar products. Besides, who want to pay shipping, too?

I really wanted to like this...
First of all, I just ordered the bundle with the wipes, soap, and two cream deodorants. The smells are just awful. The soap was the toasted coconut and smells sickeningly sweet, the two other scents were minted cucumber and clean tangerine... Both smelled like a dirty vag*na with fragrance added. Maybe that's just personal preference but it was the first thing I noticed. Otherwise, throughout the day the deodorant wasn't all that bad. I have a very active job and it did help with general swampiness. The wipes weren't actually bad.

Overall, wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend. The scents alone were enough to put me off forever.

Sucks. I wish I could’ve given it zero stars. Someone gave me this for Christmas. I threw it in the garbage because that’s what it is garbage. That’s supposed to Dr is probably making millions and lying in the commercials to everybody. I hope people read the reviews because I haven’t found a good one in the whole bunch that says something about your company , Supposed doctor. The commercials are also horrible. I don’t need to have somebody screaming pits and privates at me while I’m eating my dinner. Or talking about that smell down there. Disgusting commercial can you be a little more discreet we all know what you’re talking about. You don’t need to scream it at us. Horrible deodorant, horrible commercials.

Awful ads ! Don't need to see some women jostling her boobs and talking about deodorant. Degrading and ridiculous!

After seeing these TV ads, I thought that I would give this a try. I purchased a bundle set and while waiting for it to arrive I saw the men's line MANDO offered so purchased a set of that too. Wow, I should hsve waited and notwasted more money. This crap is NASTY !! Right out of the tube it smelled horrible and was really sticky with almost a grainy feel. I thought I would try it, so I put some on. After about 15 mins I could not stand the funky awful smell and took a shower and scrubbed it off. In the comnercial she talks about "butt crack" and "under boob" smell,, now let me tell you ,, if your butt crack or boobs have any smell that you think this stuff is going to remedy, then you are already DEAD and your body is decompsing,, and in fact , this is stuff is the same smell. Do yourself a favor and do not order, or if you have toss it in the trash immediately. On second thought, that will just make your garbage can stink way more.

Is this trashy looking woman in the ads actually a doctor? This so called deodorant made me unnaturally stink after several uses. What is in this? I’m concerned about a carcinogen to be discovered years down the road. This is a scam and an expensive one.

If i can give 0 stars i would, first i tried i thought omg it works so well , besides funky smell while applying i would not smell after gym at all, then after a month using it i noticed it changed my natural smell to unbearable one! I know we all smell but good lord the chemical reaction to my natural odor is horrific! Do not buy it!! Its awful once your body get used to it, it changes everything! That annoying so called Doctor should have really tested it long term, i went back to my favorite Odaban! It works 100% , u dont sweat or smell , will never buy Lume again, ever!!
