I am unable to comment on the quality or performance of the Magimix food processor as it has not yet arrived. 15 days after despatch I am still awaiting delivery. An enquiry email sent 5 working days ago has not yet had a response.
I am disappointed with the customer service.

I am amazed that Magimix get any positive reviews. The only way to contact Customer Services is using an online form, and I haven’t had a response despite writing twice. Eventually I contacted Magimix Spares, a separate company, who gave me the postal address so I have written. The Magimix 3200XL is not fit for purpose. The motor is so vicious that ingredients fly all round the machine, making it impossible to mix properly and, in any case, cake ingredients do not appreciate this treatment. I have had 2 excellent Kenwood food processors in the past 40 years, but chose the Magimix this time because my late father like d his, and he was an excellent baker. I researched it thoroughly - all I want is to make cakes as successfully as I have done over the past half century, the parts are also very cumbersome, and the washing up involves the bowl, blade, and no fewer than 4 lid parts because everything gets on such a mess.
The response does not help! I maintain that there are 6 parts to be washed thoroughly after using the main bowl, all cumbersome: the main bowl, the blade and the lid which is in 4 separate parts!
A repair or replacement is not acceptable. I bought the machine specifically for baking cakes, scones, biscuits and bread. It is not fit for purpose and I have requested a refund but, as yet, nothing is forthcoming

I was concerned that there is no phone contact but needn’t have worried as Jenny replied very quickly to my email and was amazingly helpful, reassuring and efficient. Although my new gelato expert was faulty, I now have a replacement which works perfectly and the issue was very quickly resolved. Thanks again, Jenny!

My Magimix 4200xl was making an unusual sound. After sending a video I packed off the machine to Magimix who replaced the motor and motor support free of charge. Very easy process. Thanks, Magimix!

The Magimix customer service email system is a little clunky but once a communication link has been established the service provided by Jenny was excellent. We have had a few bumps in the road getting things sorted, the majority of these were outside of the control of Magimix but that said all of the issues were resolved with great professionalism.
Thanks Jenny

I bought the Magic Mix Gelato Expert Ice Cream Maker because of its stainless steel mixing compartment - when most make them out of plastic, expecting high-quality construction throughout. However, I was shocked by the mixing blade, which is made of extremely cheap, flimsy plastic reminiscent of low-grade toy parts you twist off a frame during assembly. The edges are rough and poorly finished, likely due to a substandard molding process that leaves excess plastic uncleaned and unpolished.
I tested the blade’s durability and found that I could easily scrape material off the edges with my fingernail, leaving visible scratches and indentations after minimal effort. This is unacceptable for a food-contact component, especially when mixing ice cream with abrasive ingredients like nuts, which could accelerate wear and cause the blade to shed microplastics or even break into the food. The blade’s fragility and poor manufacturing raise serious concerns about food safety and product longevity.
Due to this critical flaw, I will be returning the ice cream maker. I strongly urge the manufacturer to replace the blade with a durable, food-safe material like stainless steel or high-grade plastic and improve their molding process to ensure smooth, safe edges. Until these issues are fixed, I cannot recommend this product to anyone who values quality or safety. We have to be weary of microplastics but here we have macro-plastic concern!

I recently brought a Magimix blender with a glass jug to ease my fear of micro plastics. The blender is awesome. Just as I was washing the jug for the first time I was thinking how careful I was going to need to be when I cracked the jug on the side of the sink. I was gutted and contacted Magimix on the off chance that they might be able to send me a replacement glass jug and Jenny got back to me quickly to let me know that they would send me one which arrived a couple of days later after a no fuss interaction. Great service 10/10 would recommend.

I LoVE my MagiMix and when it stopped working I was really unhappy, especially since I’d had it quite a few years, but Paid a lot of money for it. I was thrilled when I got in touch with Jenny at MagiMix customer service. She arranged a repair under the warranty, (2012). I had to package safely and I sent it in through Royal Mail. By about 2 weeks I had it returned as repaired. I tried it and it was making an odd noise and was not right. I immediately contacted Jenny, who immediately arranged a collection for investigation. I received my MagiMix yesterday and I’m very happy with the outcome. I’m very happy with the service, we got there in the end. Thank you so much.

I've had a Magimix blender for 5 year now. Very happy.
The motor needed checking by engineer as I started hearing some noise. Madimix support covered this under the long term motor warranty and dealt very efficiently with the ticket and repair. I have my blender back re-conditioned following an excellent communication - Jenny was prompt and thorough with updates and info provided.

Jenny dealt with my query regarding my magimix whisk which after a couple of uses looked stressed. I was absolutely delighted with the quick response to my query and speedy arrival of a replacement part. I was already pleased with my magimix but am now so impressed with the aftersales support. Thank you Jenny

I guess my Magimix is about ten years old. However, I use it about once every two months. The machines on, off and pulse buttons no longer work. I have searched online and it appears that this has been an issue for many others. To my mind, that equals a design fault. Hopefully by purchasing a silicone-based lubricant spray I can get the buttons working again and get back to making my Kim Chi.
Following reply from Magimix.
Thanks for your ambulance at the bottom of the cliff reply.
How long have Magimix known about this design fault?
I see the latest models have the same buttons with nothing to prevent spillage gumming them up.
Following further reply from Magimix.
I note you have not said how long Magimix has been aware of this issue. It is clear from googling that sticking buttons on Magimix is long standing. Yet there are design solutions to prevent or at least reduce liquid / micro-particles gumming up switches. E.g. Ingress Protection (IP) Rated Sealed Switches
Time to stop resting on laurels and fix the issue on new models.

I bought a compact Magimix in November 2024 to replace my old one which was large and I had used it regularly since 1983. The motor was perfectly all right but I couldn’t get a replacement bowl or lid.
I was delighted with the design and the size. The lid was a bit stiff at first, but eventually became stiffer.
At first I thought I was finding it difficult because of my age, one does get weaker. I contacted Magimix UK they replied immediately, asking for details of when I purchased and the problem, serial number etc and a video of the problem. The response I got was amazing, although I sent off all the details I wasn’t even sure if they had received them, I had an email back saying they had sent a replacement bowl and lid, it arrived within 3 days and works perfectly.
The product has always got excellent reviews, but I was really impressed with the company.

To cut a long story short my magimix machines pulse button simply stopped working so as we had recently moved I couldn’t find my documentation of proof of purchase so I thought all was lost until I saw an advert on FB advertising the very machine I owned … I simply passed a comment about how mine sadly wasn’t working the way it should …The next thing I knew Magimix reached out to me themselves and asked me to privately message them to see if they could help , to which I did immediately… I was then put in touch with a wonderful lady (Jenny) who helped and guided me every step of the way to having my machine repaired and returned in less than a week !!… I’m absolutely overjoyed to have my beloved magimix back ,all up and ready to run again … The customer service care from the absolute star she is Jenny and the amazing skill and talent of the engineer are second to none … This company is a rare gem especially in this day and age … Therefore I’ll have no hesitation to purchase from them again in the near future as all their products are incredible and I highly recommend them them to everyone … Thank you Jenny you are a absolute star sweetheart and a wonderful asset to this amazing Company Thank you to all involved you’re the best xxxxx
