You can get this email for free, but it has ZERO security features and does not even allow to filter/block spam messages. Sure, you can mark a message as Spam, but this does absolutely NOTHING.

Use this to SEND/RECEIVE emails - don't expect anything else.

Good email service, fast customer service. Good price. What else?

Well featured and configurable.
Supports Activesync, CalDav etc, has a good range of filters(rules) including sending alerts to various messengers, can give you a text with your daily calendar event, and privacy options are very good.

The only thing lacking is an app. They do have a web based app, but not an iOS or Android specific ones.

I needed to recover a Mailfence account not used for some time, and support was very helpful and responsive to help. Got my access back, and the user experience is excellent!

Unresponsive or delayed response from support. It appears it is only one agent or using different names. As a non traditional service provider, this is the support, customer service and inconvenience. It is not all safe and secure.

The free side of mailfence is worth anyone's time for it is well supported even unpaid services, paid must be top notch.
They helped me in a crunch with gaining access back to my mail services within 12 hours.

I would use this as your secondary or even primary.

mailfence takes money for subscription, mailfence illegally reads my private emails, and because mailfence doesn't like what I send privately, mailfence blocks my paid emails.

Mailfence refuses to pay damages.

I can prove all this that I speak the truth!

Mailfence is lying I have violated Terms of Service policy, this is untrue. I was replying to personals ads and mailfence was reading along illegally and mailfence doesn't allow a private person to reply to contact emails, Mailfence should stop lying and unfortunately I need to get my paid money back of the email account subscription through PayPal Buyer Protection because Mailfence refuses to give my money back, that's how it looks, and not like Mailfence is misrepresenting and lying.

I had to change my hotmail email address two weeks after it was hacked. I stupidly created yet another Outlook e-mail until a work colleague told me about the more secure e-mail companies. After some research I decided on mailfence.com. It was simple to set up my new account and I have no problems receiving emails to my new address.

A couple of days ago I had to contact Mailfence Support with a minor problem. Rachel was very helpful and answered my query the same day which would never happen with the big tech companies. I am glad I switched over to Mailfence.

2 factor authentication is usuful and increase security for our email. But I happened to meet locked out from my account suddenly. It's bad behavior for me to reset smartphone after setting 2FA. Because I forgot some records for recovering,I lost the clue to login.
I inquired to Mailfence supporter team. It was first time to send message them but their reply was prompt and showed me for processing of deactivate 2FA setting.

After retrieve my account, I exchanged messages with a friendly supporter.
So I can believe Mailfence has not only high techniques but also good supporters.
The reliability of Mailfence should be kept their continuous efforts.

Mailfence is a brilliant, secure G-Suite alternative. Their customer service is incredible, making them an excellent choice if you need privacy, security and great functionality.

I signed up for a Mailfence account yesterday. Couldn't decide between two usernames so I created two accounts. Within ten minutes of trying out all the features, I decided to upgrade to their Entry plan, which is very reasonably priced at €30 per year. The Entry subscription provides up to ten aliases, so I deleted one account and tried to add that username as an alias. Not surprisingly, wasn't able to. I contacted Support and they replied within 30 minutes, and eventually resolved the matter in a total of 40 minutes. Really impressed with the speediness and efficiency of their response, and I imagine I will be using this service for years to come, based on this very positive experience.

I am waiting for a reply from the support_mailfence.com. Unexpectedly, my email account was temporarily suspended. I have used this email account for over five years. I need the support team to contact me promptly.

Do NOT trust or use mailfence, they are just another fake service promoting security and privacy. Unable to create accounts from the tor browser, and most of the time from a vpn as well. Unable to create account using one of the 2 safest emails there is, danwin and Elude. If u try to use these as a recovery mail u just get error after error. Because they, like proton, gmail, etc etc, need that chain of breadcrumbs to find u and link u, because privacy is a bit fat scamming lie. But oh, its just a 'tecnical error'. Funny how all mail clients have tecnical errors when u try to sign up via tor or use one of those 2 recovery mails. Shame on u for claiming u care about proivacy and then decline certain email domains.
Oh and they also block certain ips for 'reasons' as in u know, if u speak ur mind, is known as a 'trouble maker' 'free voice' or in any other way flagged for wanting privacy. Then to give u access bk to ur account they ask for ur ip so they can remove it from their blacklist. That works wonders for ones privacy, and also hard to use via a vpn or tor network. Wake up sheeple, another provider not to be trusted, there are currently only very few u should even consider if u carea bout these things.

I discovered mailfence.com after having difficulties with another email service. After surviving covid-19 & my heart problems that occurred from the covid-19 I was finally able to check on my email. I wrote to support & was successfully united with my email once again. I'm a very happy camper.

Great service, I wanted to use Mailfence with a non-standard setup and their support helped me on the same day to configure everything, perfect!

Could you please communicate your emailaddress or user name. We'll have a look again at your account. When an account is under investigation it is because we received notifications of illegal usage of such an account. Generally it relates to cases of phishing, scamming or spam sending done from such an account. Our support is very reactive for our legitimate users. Mailfence Team

First, how the hell did they know I was in Mexico? They're so incompetent they can't fix my account, yet they can sure track my whereabouts.

Second, what does "legitimate users" mean? Are we to infer there are illegitimate users? If so, they have bigger security issues than a nobody like me.

Third, I'm not sending them ANY more information b/c they've had 6 MONTHS already and have done nothing other than steal my private property, and I'll go to court with a load of evidence.

So I stand by my accusation: Mailfence is a FRAUDULENT front for information THEFT.

Update: If my account was used as a "scam," it wasn't me scamming anyone, and I'm secure in that knowledge. Why? B/c you have no evidence I scammed anyone. But you might have mentioned your accusation months ago instead of claiming it was under "investigation." Instead, you locked me out of my account without a reason, preventing me from retrieving my contacts and folders. That is simple theft of property.

Moreover, if someone used my account for scamming purposes, that only confirms how insecure your mail service is.
In any case, your service is either technically incompetent or fraudulent. I will leave that question for YOU, and whoever else reads this review, to decide.

Without any doubt, a good solution to replace Gmail/Hotmail and others!

Really good service. The User Interface is modern and quick responsive. The free options for vCard (contacts) and vCal (calendar) are really good.

A nice improvement would be : propose a favorable tariff for a family account.

I want to take the opportunity to thank Mailfence for their awesome service. I've been a Gmail user for many years and have never received the kind of service I have received from Mailfence. I'm also more at ease knowing my account is safe.

Absolute worst support team. I wouldn't even call them support. Supposedly paying customers get priority for their needs when contacting support, however, I only get one response every 24 +/- hours!!! I need their help with setting up an external mail server because THEIR instructions are vague and NO documentation explains what I am asking. Even in their response, they didn't answer my question they only said go look here and then told me to go see what others think about them on Trustpilot and to check out their knowledge base. As a paying customer, I would expect more. However, since I can't even get off the ground and I already have problems, then it will be taking my business else ware. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM MAILFENCE!!!
