Extremely disappointed. I have emailed, WhatsApp and tried to call make water pure with no response.
My water distiller is leaking water on to the electrical system blowing my electricity. Still within the 2 year warranty.
Being 7 months pregnant and that the uk is in a heatwave I need to drink as much water as possible, but I only drink distilled water.
I would appreciate it if someone from the company could contact me and come up with a solution

I made and paid for an order with this company for a repair to my water distillation machine. I have emailed them several times, left messages on their cell phone number and have had nothing back from them. I have asked twice for a refund and have heard nothing from them. I am so glad I only paid for a repair and didn't pay for a new machine otherwise I would have been several hundred pounds out of pocket. Go elsewhere.

My Purchase was last year and was i glad to receive it after seeing the disgusting sludge that remained in the chamber after distilling, we have been in dispute with the water company because of this, and not long after something changed, there was a thick white deposit left in the chamber that wouldn't even remove after cleaning, last weekend the water poured out of the bottom of the unit, i panicked 'how could i now be without a distiller'! i message the company on Sunday night, was contacted the next day and the day after Tuesday i received my new chamber. What a superb service! especially in this day and age where most companies' customer service is rubbish, especially the big corporations. That white stuff ate through metal, so what is that doing to our insides? What on earth are these water companies doing to us? and we are paying for it! that is certainly not healthy, everyone should be distilling their water. A huge thank you to Make Water Pure company for coming through for me. Fantastic customer service Thank you so so much. For those of you leaving bad reviews, sorry but you must be competitors? if you are not then contact the company so they can remedy the situation and then correct your review, Make water Pure should get the recognision they deserve. Bravo!

Zero customer service, distiller is about a week old and doesn't complete a full cycle, just cuts off after a few minutes for no reason. Ive emailed twice but heard nothing back. Have requested a refund will be buying elsewhere.

UPDATE: -after sending my original machine off to be repaired it has come back and broken again after a week of use!! This really isn’t acceptable! I clean it after every use and use it once a day! I messaged the mobile number but have not heard back!! I really would just like a refund as I can’t have this happening, when the machine only lasts 1-2 weeks before breaking!!!!

I’ve been trying to contact customer services but the emails keep coming back saying wrong email address… I tried calling a number left on another review on here but no answer
My distiller I bought 2 weeks ago has stopped working. It goes and fills up the jug about a quarter but then won’t turn on at all!! Please can someone get in touch with me asap! I spent a lot of money on the product and now can’t get water from it

I am following up on 2 previous reviews where I had a filter that didnt work and had problems communicating with Waterpure. However since posting a review, They contacted me, I sent my water filter back, they then said they didnt receive it. However they sent me a brand new one which so far, seems to be working well. Fingers crossed.

After leaving a 1 star review for Make Water Pure, I was finally contacted by their customer services department (I had emailed them several times).

They told me I needed a new boiling chamber and to text their warehouse with a ticket reference and my address - which I did on 19th April 2022!!

They also asked if I could remove my 1 star review from last time when I receive the boiling chamber - to which I replied that I would consider doing this once I'm confident that the distiller is working.

I have not heard anything from them since!!

It seems to me that "Make Water Pure" are more interested in their reviews than their customers and I will be demanding a full refund and purchasing a new water distiller elsewhere.

Terrible customer service. Faulty machine less than a year later, which could have been prevented had this company been more TRANSPARENT. Basically, machine doesn't work, it's your fault (which I can accept up to a point but which could have been prevented if they really wanted customers to avoid this issue..easier not to and have them buy a new one..), purchase new boiling chamber, was their solution. No response to queries thereafter. Their intentions are questionable. Nearly £150 for a year's worth of water and time wasted texting them after emailing them three times, and searching for a new distiller, not worth it!! Only gave an extra star to be fair as it was good while it worked.

I bought a distiller at the end of March and now 2 months later it has stopped working. I have managed to find two company contact numbers but no one answers the phone. I have sent messages on WhatsApp but again no one responds. I sent 2 emails via the website contact, no reply. I found thier email address but again no one responds. Oh and also I tried to contact via Instagram, guess what... no one has replied! They claim it comes with 2 years warranty but there seems to be no customer service?

Since posting this review they eventually responded and resolved the issue.

I just love my Water Pure distiller if you haven’t already bought one you will never regretted having clean Water which should be home right only watch you tried the distilled water do you realise how filthy the water comes out of the tap is

Recent purchase of a water distiller and on opening, the carbon filter was torn. I have emailed customer services twice but no reply. At present this machine is of no use to me. Right now I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company.

UPDATE
I want to update this review as I have now received a reply from Make My Water Pure and their action has exceeded my expectations. I now have a fully functioning water distiller!

I bought a Make Water Pure distiller on Amazon. It worked fine for about a year then the light stopped coming on and the boiler stopped heating up. I emailed makewaterpure.co.uk asking them how to get a replacement under the published 2 year warranty. They emailed back saying they had despatched a replacement boiler and it would be with me tomorrow. It was and I'm now back up and running.
Excellent service and a good product.

Wanted to buy from them, had a few questions as it was my first water distiller, first email, 7 days to reply, wasn’t in a rush so this was absolutely no issue. Had some final few questions before placing the order, emailed them on 12th March, no reply so chased them on 26th March to remind them. Still no reply, it’s now 10th April.

If this is the customer service when you are trying to give them money and buy their product, I am not sure how it will be with warranty and repairs.

I really wanted to like this company as it’s UK based and they are also on Amazon and my friend recommended them to me.

Really tried to be patient but it’s time to look elsewhere.

Nothing personal it’s just maybe they can use this feedback and sort their customer service out especially their sales department handling emails.

Happy to share screenshots of all the emails I have sent and the dates and their address I sent it to to verify.

From the very first use of Water Pure water distiller the bottom of the chamber burned!
Straight away I contacted water pure customer service and they got back to me saying that that was normal !
The water test burned and I'm extremely worried that there is a fire safety issue as the distiller does not turn off in time as it should .
I have send them many emails and also messages through their website since, and still no reply.
The customer service phone numbers don't work.
I have now found this reviews on trust pilot, seeing people are having the same concerns.
Contacted them on the WhatsApp number for technical support provided on one of the reviews here ad still no reply.

I will report them to:
CITIZEN ADVISE BUREAU 0808 223 1133 and TRADING STANDARDS.

FIRE SAFETY HAZARD !
DO NOT BUY THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
2 YEARS WARRANTY ???

Edit: I wish I read negative Trust Pilot reviews before, other people complained of the same problems.

Only after I forwarded my trust pilot review to Water Pure today 5/4/22 the customer service acknowledged my whats app message (no emails) and BLAMED ME FOR THE WATER TASTING BURNED, and attacked me by stating that my review is libellous.

If you are planning on buying this distiller please read the reviews first.
I would highly recommend you choose another company.
I’m not the only one with this problem here.

I explained to the customer service that I have used my previous water distiller in my house for 5 years and that the distiller never burned inside ( same house same water ) the water never tasted burned, filter or not filter.
They are talking about “educating” the customer while blaming the burn test of the water on VOC !

I have been distilling tap water for years.
From different distillers, different areas of London and in another country, and the water never tested so dirty and burned !!

Again...very bad. I emailed them on the 13th march about another malfunction. I've heard nothing and it's now the 27th. A disgrace ! They have a scheme where they pay you to refer a friend . With this level of service?? Must be joking. Don't buy from these people ....they cant be called either....RUBBISH

Since writing my previous review Water Pure promptly got back to me and stated that I should receive my items by today at the latest. And they included extra filters (12 instead of 4, which I am grateful for) in my order for the inconvenience they have caused. As this is the only means by which Water Pure responds to my emails I will continue doing so until I receive my items.

It is always a scary thought when you purchase an item, it doesn't fit, you contact customer service and then there is no reply.

You begin wondering whether you have been defrauded. You begin wondering who you have indeed purchased this item from. That is the position that i find myself in today.

I have contacted the makewaterpure customer service via their method and there has been no reply. Is the action then to notify my bank that I have been defrauded? I purchased an item for my water distiller (a replacement boiling chamber). It was confirmed to be the correct item on your website but it does not fit.

I need to return this item and have a replacement and probably never order from you again. Can you make this possible in line with the legal procedures in the UK? I have waited 72 hours and still am getting the automated message.

Could I please get my new tracking number? Our family is waiting over a month for a new distiller, I didn't get a refund and I haven't received the product. No one replies my emails.

I have always wanted a water distiller as all my friends have one. I finally got mine from water pure and i could not sing their praises higher enough. They andwered all my questions, delivery was quick and the water distiller work great! i cannot believe what it has removed from my tap water. yuck! thanks guys
