Topnotch customer support
Ordering and shipment went very smooth. My first order unfortunately contained skates that did not fit me but the help and responsiveness from the service department was top notch. Sending back and getting correct sized skates was very easy and relative fast considering the distance the UPS truck had to travel (Sweden to Netherlands).

Both product and buyer experience was…
Both product and buyer experience was good. My son had the O1 Kit last year and installed them on a pair of Bauer boots and loved it. He used it everyday last Spring/ Summer and liked the Marsblade more than his Bauer inline skates from the year before. He said the rocker does make it feel more like skating on ice. So when he outgrew his Bauer skates with a Marsbkade installed, it was an easy decision to get another Marsblade. We decided to get the O1 Team boots this year as it saved us a bit of money when you look at the kit + boot + install. Since the O1 Team boots have arrived my son has not taken them off. They fit good so he didn’t think they needed to be baked. My only complaint is the need to pay for customs was not clear during the purchase. UPS sent an email and a text to tell me about the payment. This could have been explained on clearer on the site. Other than that we were happy with the product and how quick the product came.

This is the second pair of O1 Marsblade we have had and they are fantastic. Easy to skate in and makes it feel like you are on ice.

I'm a huge fan of R1 and I2
I'm a huge admirer of both the Marsblade R1 and the I2. They're exceptional products, and I can't speak highly enough of them.
Unfortunately, the merchandise associated with them isn't up to par. The quality of the T-shirts and caps leaves much to be desired. After just 10 washes, the Marsblade logo on my T-shirt is barely visible. The caps are made from cheap materials, with ill-fitting shapes and flimsy plastic clasps at the back.
Until your merchandise improves, I won't be purchasing anything else from you. However, if my R1 or I2 break, I'll definitely buy replacements right away.

When importing goods to Canada from Sweden, your order will be subject to the Canadian Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).
This tax is charged by your border agency due to Canadian customs regulations. The tax rate varies depending on province, though this can be calculated via the CBSA, as it is based on the value of the imported goods.

Great for all hockey players
At first, the flow motion technology is awesome - it really gets close to ice skating - I had just a short time of something around 10 minutes adopting from ice skates to the Marsblades. Also, customer support is great - it took just few hours (or was it even hours?) to receive answers on my questions.
What keeps me from rating 5 stars, is that the boot (I bought the O1 Prospect) has two restrictions for me. First one is the width, which is stated as D, however compared to my Bauer hockey skates in Fit 2 (which is the old D), it is a little wider in my opinion, which makes the boot not as snug as I prefer. Second is the stiffness - in my opinion the boots are a bit too soft - no big deal since I'm only planning to use them as off-ice training tool. Maybe the Elite would solve this.
Overall, the Marsblades are a great choice for all hockey players. If you can't try them on it might be a good solution, only to buy the chassis and mount them on boots you are familiar with.

Regards the width, all of our skates are sold in D-width. We do have our own design on them so that may be the reason they feel a little bit different from Bauer skates.
The Prospect model is a little bit stiffer than the Elite model, so from what you have told us, we do believe the Elite model should have been the best option for you.
As you say, an good alternative could be to order our O1/R1 kit to mount on a pair of skates that you already have at home! 👊

Excellent customer service and communication. I needed replacement wheels and parts. Within hours of emailing I heard back from Axel with an invoice and a link to order. The parts were being shipped to me within 24 hours of my original communication.

Best out of the box skate
Best out of the box skate I’ve put on. Weathers been bad so haven’t gotten much time in them yet. But I’m highly pleased so far. Feels more like an ice skate than a roller skate.
