Sneakers are very nice and comfortable, and uniquely designed. Timelines indicated on the website are not always practical for other regions. Do some research on customs requirements and applicable charges of different couriers.

I wrote a review about this company back on the 13th October with regards to a purchase I made of some trainers off their website. At the time everything I said is what I believed but since I wrote that review and tried contacting them and sent a few emails a couple of things have happened.

I have ended up receiving the trainers I ordered on 3/11/22. This is after sending emails and trying to contact them and eventually going through PayPal to get my money back thinking I’ve been scammed. After going through PayPal I then got an email from someone at Martin valen apologising, asking me to retract my request through PayPal and they will sort it quicker, I didn’t because I didn’t trust them. I sent an email to them saying if everything they are saying is true to send the trainers as a good will gesture and I may start believing some of the things said, I got one back saying that as a good will gesture they would and sorry for everything. At this point I still didn’t have any hope in the slightest of getting the trainers but on the 3rd of November I did receive them. So I have to take back the ‘scammers’ name I was calling them as I have received the trainers now despite how I came to get them.

I sent them an email back saying I had received them and I sent some pointers as to going forward what I think they should do as a company and how they should be with regards replying to the customer and keeping in touch with the customer with regards their purchase, hopefully they will take everything on board so that this doesn’t happen again and the customer will be happy and they can still provide the items they have listed to sell on their website

SCAM and THIEVES, don't believe any positive reviews about them, they are probably false and fabricated. I wish I had read the reviews before.
I've ordered trainers and was really careful with the size. I picked a size UK 8, EU 42 and I received a size 6 UK, 36 EU, I can't even put a toe inside.
I contacted them via their website online form, and they got back to me saying they don't do exchange but for me to keep the shoes and they would offer me 30% off my next purchase. I replied I wanted a full refund and I would send the shoes back. They got back saying that I would spend too much money with customs fees, so I should keep the shoes and they would give me 50% off my next purchase. Unbelievable. I told them I wanted a refund and how and where should I send the shoes back.
They replied if that's what i wanted, they would refund the amount minus the amount they payed for shipping, gave me instruction on how to do it and the address. They gave me a German address, the parcel arrived here with stamps from Australia or something, not Europe (the prices are in euros).
I documented everything about the process, I took pictures of the parcel, the forms I filled at the post office, the number of the initial order, and the tracking service. I sent all this to them via the website. They said as soon as they receive the parcel, they would refund me.
They received it on the 28th/08 and today is the 9th/09, 12 days, and I haven't heard back from them.
I've sent them 4 messages during this week and pictures of the tracking website with proof of delivery and still nothing.
I will report this company to the British Metropolitan Police and I'm searching for an international organization that can go after these criminals.
I will go on social media and I will spread the word and I will not let his go. If anyone knows of any place I can also report them please let me know here. I will not contact them anymore but I will not forget.

I’m back to wire an update on these con artists.
After I’ve sent them proof of delivery of the parcel, they said they couldn’t find it in the wear house. They said I should contact the courier in Germany and ask for an investigation.
Obviously living in the UK it’s not easy to do that.
I was expecting that because of their modus operandi. I lost my money and didn’t get my shoes.
I’ve reported it to the courier, the bank and the post offices.

Word of advice to you all NEVER buy anything from them, you will be ripped off one way or another.

The world would progress if everyone worked with customers at least as close as your company does, congratulations.

Package arrived totally destroyed, the quality is terrible as the leather feels like synthetic and the product much uglier than the pictures.
Also walking with their sneakers is a nightmare as the shoe is so rigid and the sole very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend purchasing items from Martin Valen to anyone.

My third Shoe arrived yesterday and i absoloutly love it like always ! Also with 3 Gifts inside awesome ! I love the quality and i always get asked from people which brand are these shoes cause they looked so fresh. Definetly not my last one ! :)

Ordered trainers which were slightly delayed to the UK and then read reviews on here and panicked. Company emailed back addressing my concerns and offered discount on next order. Trainers are fantastic quality and going to order another pair - g k9oes to show, don't believe everything you read!

I am very happy with my sneakers, I ordered the Women's Hype Sole Zipped Style Sneakers and thought they would be heavy but they are very light. Customer service was very diligent after a little misunderstanding.

If there is any review you should be reading about this company, please read the 1star reviews and take the advice of anyone giving it a bad review. At the time of my purchase, this company had a 4star review. I read the bad review but decided to try my luck. Turns out, all what I'm going through now is what other people have experienced and tried warning others here.
I ordered 2 shoes on the 3rd of February. Momemts later, I get an email saying shoes has been dispatch. I was like well, this went on fast. And then not long after, I get another email from these clowns telling me the shoes will be sent Seperately and it's what they do to avoid custom duty. They had the audacity to go on and say I should try the shoes and if everything is OK, I should let them know so that they send the 2nd pair of shoes. I ordered from this site because it promises a 3-5 day European delivery. Long story short, after I disagree with them for sending my orders Seperately, I realise I will be ending up with 1 shoes that will make it in time before I fly out for my holidays. So I went to see which shoes they sent and it was a size 36(this was my fault as I meant to chose 44 and 36 was close and I must have probably chosen the wrong size). Needless to say it set me in a panic. I email them. I begged. I pleaded,for the shoes with the right size to be immediately dispatched so that it can make it to me on time before i leave. I lost count of the number of email I sent them. I begged them for what I paid. Explaining to them I needed the shoes to travel. I even went as far as putting in my travel itinerary for them to see my flight date. I told them the other shoes arrived after 4 days(not counting Sunday) so if they dispatch my shoes on Monday I will get it on Friday before I leave on Saturday. Still no response. I emailed them Tuesday again. Still no response. And the status of the second shoes is still showing "processing". So for a company that promises u 3-5 days delivery and processing a delivery after 6 days from order, I will call this company a scam. I spent 179€ and will have no shoes to take with me for my holidays on Saturday. I'm going to take this as far as I can. I will report it to the financial ombudsman and follow it up until something is done about it. It's a shame cos the lost a client in me as I was planning to buy every chunky sneaker model they had by the end of this year. Once again, if you are planning to order from this company, listen to others and to me and don't put yourself in a world of hurt.

They came as expected 3 to 4 days later with delivery. That's very good!!

The package where the shoes were inside was also very nice with some little gifts also! the shoes themselves were also very clean.

I would recommend anybody these shoes!
