Very cool project, original and organized

Love the collaboration feature, recorder is a great features but it records very low volume - maybe an issue on my end; would like to use the large separate box/field on right for notes/prewriting -would be much better that just the option to merge into one large page. Overall, solid, useful app.

Good tutorials,fairly easy to navigate and use

I thought that I could import my script into the program to check. No tutorials on this, if it is indeed possible. What I'm using the program for now is a thesaurus for more words, which is nice, but not worth the costs.

It’s an easy to navigate app and it’s really a very helpful tool to keep your creativity flowing when it’s happening. It helps you with your ideas.

A dictionary and thesaurus at your fingertips is a must-have for any writer! I love using different words to express feelings and emotions, and this tool saves me so much time I used to spend googling. It lets me stay in the creative flow.

Software is very good (would love an app) and due to some renewal issues the customer service was very responsive and professional.

I have been using Masterwriter for years, I only switched over to the subscription version recently and the improvements have been significantly helpful. My songwriting tends to go in surges, a bit of a drought, then I go gangbusters. I feel that phase is coming soon. I can't wait to look further in to the features available.

No more writers block and brilliant at improving dialogue and with pacing, rythym and style, but most of all it has made writing fun again.

I have been treated so well by this company. They truly respond to writers opinions and critiques. They care about us and their companies reputation.
If you're writing a song and you know what you want to say, you're 90% there, but this wonderful program can really help with a word or two if you get a little stuck in your process. Instead of sitting there racking your brain for the word or phrase that will move you along, MasterWriter can keep you moving. Get that train of thought written down before it's derailed.
And when you're proofreading your work, you can fix things quickly with MasterWriter.
MasterWriter won't write a song for you, but you'd be surprised what "A Little Help From Your Friends" at MasterWriter can do.
I obviously like this company, the people who work there, and the MasterWriter program that helps keep us writers writing.

Loving it! Very easy to use - I am missing the desktop version, though, but it's still great.

I like it very much, because I can more easily express myself, plus it's fun writing in such environment.

I use MasterWriter all the time. It is 5 Stars for being a tool that has value, but I gave it 3 as it is fairly basic (although intuitive). It has so much more potential. I don't use a lot of the tools it has (phrasing etc), but it keeps everything in one place and organized. Before this, I had pieces of lyrics in every piece of media possible.
The good:
1. MasterWriter is a great place to centrally manage your songwriting lyrics.
2. Versions - they allow you to track several versions of the same lyrics so you can keep the originals neatly organized and feel safe rewriting parts without fear of regretting a deletion.
3. The rhyme feature is very deep, that has 4 tiers from direct rhymes to wider or slant rhymes that sound better for song flow.
4. It is very easy to use and jump back and forth between projects/songs.
5. New AI feature is nice. It is like having a partner in the room with you when you're stuck. Although, ChatGPT would do the same, but this is built in. Input is hit or miss, but sometimes they spawn other ideas.
6. Ability to share/collaborate is cool.
7. Price - very good value
8. Intuitive on any of my device (phone, computers, ipad), so it is there whenever an idea strikes.
Improvements:
1. It would be ideal if they could provide typical song frameworks to build withing. [Intro], [Verse], [Chorus], etc. Just saves a few steps.
2. It would be good to have a "sandbox" to write down any ideas, then be able to select then assign them to an existing song or launch a new one at any time. The ones you don't use, continue to live there.
3. A copy lyric button that goes directly to clipboard would be nice, so when populating other platforms with lyrics, it's easier.
4. Maybe have an area to attach music/chord sheets, so anyone collaborating gets the full picture.
5. Maybe have a track capability so that you can hear the song to see how your lyrics fit.
6. Recorder to give collaborators an idea of how you think it should sound.
7. Would be nice if it also came in an app as opposed to logging in.

No better than using AI or surfing the web. Not much in the editing arena. I provided suggestions already.

I've been using MasterWriter since 2022 and have been very happy with it - they regularly add features and tutorials and tips, which is great. Back in 2022, for users like myself, who may stay logged in for a couple days at a time, I suggested that they should give some indication to the user when the session would disconnect from the server. One of the owners contacted me and I went over the steps to replicate - they incorporated the notification feature in one of their updates. Also, I've contacted their support team on how to tie any of the subscription extensions I'd bought on sale to my user account - they were very prompt with their responses.

Have used Masterwriter for many years. It's helped me win songwriter's awards both in Australia and in UK. A great tool for songwriters, but it won't do magic for you if you don't understand the tools and techniques of songwriting.

Master writer is an amazing tool for songwriters. I’ve seen my writing grow leaps and bounds since utilizing this resource. The website is easy and efficient to use.
