The pricing changes I was not happy with. Other than that, good product and very useful for my songwriting.

You manage to be there when needed and Masterwriter is extremely helpful to me as a writer trying to write songs. I started with 2.0 and loved it but it changed to 3.0 and was hard to get used to but in the process I placed in 13 song contest and won one in 2017 with Am. Songwriters Lyric Contest...still writing and pitching today looking for the big one...Thanks Masterwriter!

I'm a first time ever writing. I get tongue tied in trying to find that one word. Which brought me Master Writer, it has never let me down in finding that word. They are more than just a writing app they are the whole kaboodle. I highly recommend.

I cannot state how effective and wonderful Masterwriter is. I have used to exclusively for 20 years and have had several major cuts written primarily with Masterwriter. I seriously owe a large part of my catalogue success to this software. The only negative is that i have purchased it 3 times and now must also subscribe to continue using it. minor inconvenience, but worth its weight in gold

I'm too new to MW to give a qualified revue. I can say, "Sor, so good".

Did not feel like even an advanced thesaurus. Even the touted Word Families was pretty bare. Most words didn't even have that option.

Maybe I didn't understand it, but a monthly fee for an okay thesaurus seemed overpriced.

I always find a solution when using MasterWriter whenever I get hungup on a lyric or phrase thanks for such a great program

This is a great addition to a writer's toolbox. I would highly recommend. The only issue I have with it is that it signs me out after half an hour of not using it.

As an ASCAP member I use MasterWriter to improve and enhance lyrics once I have a basic foundation. I write lyrics that don't have to rhyme then use (mostly) the Close and Wider applications to help make them feel right. The Phrases setting is also helpful.

I've been using MasterWriter for years.
As a lifelong composer, where lyrical melodies flow freely, but words do not, I've always struggled to find the next line. MasterWriter changed that, and I am grateful for this thoughtful program that has helped me get past all those half-written songs. I recommend any lyricist or songwriter give a MasterWriter a try. It's worth it.

Great software with a lot of potential for budding songwriters. It's taking me a while to explore as I'm still hardwired to scraps of paper lol :) The more I use the program the more I get used to it. So much so I invested in a new laptop the other day.

I got help it gave me the tools to finish songs

Liked phrases, dictionary, audio recorder and topical information. Liked 90-day money back guarantee and prompt reply to my cancellation request. Did not like the word processor. I think you need to be a good writer to take advantage of this software. It is not for everyone.

I've been a user since the beginning. MasterWriter has been my go-to resource for my songwriting. My only wish is that when you are immediately notified when you've been logged out. I've stepped away from a song and when I come back complete what I doing and return to the song list I'm then notified that I was logged out and the changes I've made are lost. A little frustrating.
