If I could give no stars I would. It’s been nearly 4months since ordering and not received yet. Surely places like this can be reported. According to this website, close to 700 people have given them money and not received anything.

If I could give this less than one star I would. I ordered from them on April 3rd 2020. It is now August 20th 2020 and I still haven’t received my order. I have emailed them multiple times and haven’t heard back from them... my order was well over $100 they are a complete scam! DO NOT order from them.

4 months!! and my order has never arrived. I do understand the covid sytuation.. however 4 months it's way too long. Hopefully they will return my money back. Oterwise I asume the Maxnovelty is very proffesional brand but only when it comes to just stealing money from people.

Do not order from max novelty. It’s been 18 weeks and I still haven’t received my order.

This company does not deserve a one star rating.
I bought 3 paintings in March and have not received any. I have sent 8 emails and they do NOT reply at all.

Six months later, without any correspondence, I received my paintings posted from Sydney! To Adelaide!

Scam!!!!!!! Do not buy from them. They respond to your email the first time. then send you a list of orders which your number is not even on. Then no response to emails after. They only got $32 from me.

Parcel never arrived. Had to send 3 emails for every 1 response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT ORDER FROM MAX NOVELTY. I only gave 1 star because you have to give something to write a review. Ordered in March. Its now half way through August. Nothing has arrived. No replies to my emails. I've received notifications on two separate occasions to say my order is on its way (even though I only placed one order) but the tracking numbers are international ones (or made up) so can't be tracked. SCAM

This company is a total fraud. I ordered in April as a distraction from the quarantine. It’s now August I’ve written many emails with responses only saying it’s on its way. Now they tell me cancellations are not possible after 24 hrs. I could have walked it to my house by now. Will definitely contact my cc company. I will be sending back anything they send which I doubt will ever arrive. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!

Do not buy anything from them! I'll never received what I ordered back in April and don't get answers from them anymore either.

Do NOT order anything from them. You’ll never get the item. They take your money and that’s it. They’ll reply to a complaint once and then you never hear from them again. They took $35 from me in March and they get away with it!!! They’re thieves!!!! Don’t give them any of your money. I hope they all rot in hell.

I ordered on 10th April 2020 asked for tracking on 30th of April the info they gave me for it did not work. I asked for a refund and now it is August and have not heard a word from. I lost $20.00 and will probably never see it. DO NOT order from them and facebook should be ashamed for letting a sham company advertise on it!

I like others place my first order in March 2020, its is now August 2020 and it has not arrived. I have emailed them many times, tracking the order shows it still hasn't left China, how do we report this company?

In April , I ordered two kits for July birthdays. The tracking information shows my ordered processed at the shenZhen facility...in China. I'm so furious with this company for only giving me one response June 2. This company should be giving away free kits for the poor customer service. Here it is August 10, about 14 weeks since I placed my order, and I still don't have them. UPDATE: SEPT 2, 2020 I FINALLY REC'D MY TWO PAINT KITS, DAMAGED IN SHIPPING BY BEING PLACED ON A WRINKLED FOAM ROLLER. SO NOW THERE ARE PERMANENT WRINKLES IN THE CANVASES. WHAT A RIPOFF!

Very slow sending paintings (like 5months) but they did finally arrive. I had long given up on them, so my daughter was excited. She did one already. Quality is good and picture came out awesome. She's working on the second one. Hopefully this company can get caught up. Product is good.

I ordered on April 8th it is now August 9 nothing and emailed them 4 times with no response. Trying to get my money back very very frustrated

Update August 8th: The 2 paintings I ordered on July 2nd arrived today. Nicely packaged, framed as I wanted with paints and colors intact. My daughter started painting on 1 of them. I did write them a couple of emails in the last month to check when they would be shipped but did not receive any replies. But today I got them.

I have had good experience with Max Novelty . It does take around a month for the painting to arrive. I did one last year. Then ordered another one from another company which was a total disaster, wrong colors, wrong shape, no one could make out the painting . So then ordered another one from Max Novelty on 19 Feb and it arrived exactly on March 19. The pandemic was in full force about that time , so stressful. I actually forgot about the painting . Found it again early June and began painting. Besides being relaxing , it had perfect colors -extra brushes ( I gave away 2 brushes to my coworker for his painting) Colors were plentiful, so I went second coat on it and the painting has come out very bright and colorful. My coworkers and family all loved it . So now I am going to order 2 more from them . Hopefully they come in 4 weeks . I do not have experience in emailing / contacting them but they sent me order confirmation, shipment confirmation and also delivery confirmation

I actually would not give this company ANY stars, but the only way I could warn other people about them was to click on one. I ordered the cat with wine paint by number kit on April 29th. Received a confirmation email response soon after, with a tracking number for my painting but when I clicked on it, it never showed up as being in transit. Email also stated that due to the pandemic, what might normally have taken 1-3 weeks to ship would now be 3-5 weeks. Okay, fair enough. I waited a couple weeks but the online tracker still wasn't showing my order, so I sent another email. Response gave me a new tracking number and online link and said it might be a few days before it showed up on it. I checked it, sure enough it wasn't on there. Checked it again a week later. Still not on there. Two more weeks later it still wasn't showing up. So I sent another email requesting they cancel my order and refund my money. Never heard anything back. On July 29th, after waiting 3 months, I ended up having to dispute the charge with my bank. Thankfully, they ended up giving me my money back. And all the while Max Novelty was sending me daily emails, trying to get me to buy more paintings. Well, much as I'd like to buy a nice paint by number kit, it won't be from them. Maybe you'll have a different experience, but judging by all the rest of these reviews, your odds are slim. I recommend you buy from another company.
