A Truly Outstanding, 7-Star Service from Medifintech

The service I received from Medifintech is, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever encountered in the field of pension services. Having used several other providers for pension projections, allowance breach calculations, and related matters, I was frequently left disappointed — often spotting significant errors myself. That changed completely when I began working with Medifintech.

I’ve consistently dealt with Jack, and he has been nothing short of exceptional. His expertise is unmatched, his support unwavering, and his professionalism exemplary. Their fees are more than reasonable — clear, transparent, and with no hidden surprises. Communication has been excellent throughout: emails are promptly answered, and phone calls returned — even during evenings and weekends.

To highlight the depth of service: I had opted out of my pension scheme and later decided to rejoin. Due to an administrative error, I was never formally re-admitted. Despite my efforts, my Trust’s NHS pension office insisted the fault was mine and refused to resolve the issue. That’s when Jack stepped in. He guided me through the entire process, helping me preparing e-mails for senior management of my trust, the Chief Financial Officer, the NHSBSA stakeholder team, the BMA, and more.

Together, we built a strategy, refined it after every setback, and kept pushing forward. After months of persistence and with Jack’s relentless support, I was finally — and retrospectively — re-admitted to the pension scheme. Remarkably, Jack never charged extra for this; it was all included in the initial service I had paid for.

Thank you to all the staff who helped me at Medfintech. I didn’t understand how to interpret the information sent to me in my annual allowance pension statements despite listening to a number of presentations from experts. I got to the point where I dreaded the arrival of ‘ brown envelopes’ from the NHS Pensions service and had convinced myself that I owed a huge tax bill. Medfintech sorted out all the calculations for me and it turns out, I owed nothing! Such a huge weight off my mind and worth every penny.

I had the pleasure of being supported by Graham to navigate the McCloud implications. I found him professional, helpful, supportive and flexible. My timings required a call really early in the morning at 6 AM and even this was facilitated to help me navigate the process. Once the paperwork was done the communication continued to be helpful and supportive. Very highly recommended.

Medifintech really helped me to check and understand my pension record. Jack Needham, their Technical Director, was so helpful in reviewing the details with me, to identify some errors that would have resulted in tens of thousands of pounds lost over the duration of my pension payouts. I have had a fantastic experience with Medifintec (specifically Jack) and would highly recommend them. Very efficient and easy to use. This has proved especially invaluable when NHS pensions initially calculated a lower pension than predicted and Jack went above and beyond to help me rectify this situation. I was truly blown away by the level of service that he provided and also how knowledgable and reassuring he was throughout the time it took for NHSBSA to recalculate to the correct level of pension. Used Medifintech's service to get NHS pension figures and tax implications reviewed in relation to McCloud rollback. Extremely efficient and helpful service with clear process to follow. Graham and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable in this area and my experience has been a complete contrast to dealings with HMRC, accountancy firms and NHSBSA/local pensions department! As anticipated Medifintech have been able to calculate that I owed far less in tax and will take care of paperwork that needs to be sent to HMRC and any adjustments to Scheme Pays. They also help you to claim costs for the service back. What is not to love! Would thoroughly recommend.
