They will request KYC right after you pay for your VPS, even if you use crypto, and they will hold the server until they receive it.
If you are okay with providing your personal details to a random hosting provider - that's fine, but otherwise not recommended.

Another vps provider who think they can do anything they want, once they become big.
I am glad there is hundreds of companies who will still treat you as a 'client'

Hello,
My name is Niranjan and I host multiple Arch Linux Mirrors around the globe. I wanted to host a mirror in Mumbai, India, so I reached out to Melbicom and asked if they can sponsor a VPS for the same, and they did!
I'm writing this review for the same VPS. The VPS has really good uptime, the VPS has not been down for a moment since it was provisioned(12th March). The VPS has delivered 1TB/day average since it was provisioned.
VPS Uptime and Latency of last few months can be checked at status.niranjan.co
My experience (May 2025):
1. Payment
• 18 May paid for a one-month VPS via cryptocurrency
• Order ID: #246615.melbi.space
2. Technical requirement
I needed four specific IPv4 addresses already inside Melbicom’s network and was willing to pay extra for manual assignment.
3. Support response
• “IPs are assigned automatically, we can’t do that manually.”
• Asked for a refund — silence. Ticket pushed to Sales, still no action.
4. Plot twist — KYC
24 hours later they froze the order and demanded a passport/ID/driving licence or utility bill photo to “activate” the service.
I chose crypto precisely to avoid sharing personal documents — their website never mentions mandatory KYC for crypto payments.
5. Result
• No server delivered.
• No refund processed.
• Money held hostage until I hand over personal data.
> Bottom line: Melbicom takes your money first, then adds undisclosed requirements.
> If you value your time, privacy and nerves — look elsewhere.

🚀 Melbicom is absolutely fabulous! 🌟 They’ve got a top-notch network and high-quality support—nothing is impossible! 💪 Friendly staff, personal service, and super fat internet pipes across the globe! 🌐🔥 We’ve been working with them for over 10 years, and that says a lot in itself. Can’t recommend them enough! 🙌✨

Melbicom has some good locations and the network also appears to be good, but the support is, simply put, poor. And support is extremely important when you don't have the servers in front of you to debug and fix issues.
I purchased several VPS servers to build a Kubernetes cluster (as I have on multiple other providers). One of the servers had a very unstable connection over the overlay network (something that has happened only once before to me with another provider), and this can happen for many reasons: hardware incompatibility, some VPS misconfiguration, hardware fault, etc.
I simply asked support to move the VPS to another physical host (I did not ask for any refunds or anything). They responded with a no, asking that I prove with traces and packet loss evidence that there was a problem. Now, to do this on a cluster requires me to invest a couple of hours to build custom docker images with the right tooling track and trace all of this. And I should do all of this so that support does nothing and because I am paying EUR 22 for a VPS?
For whoever reads this, the right thing to do is to always solve the problem first, then work on a root cause analysis. With other providers, when I've had such issues, we always move the VM to a host work and get the customer's workloads up and running, and then we work to see what the problem is. Imagine if I had diverted production traffic to these clusters, I'd be dropping requests and losing revenue just because your customer support team thinks I need to provide them evidence that I am someone foolish who does not know how things work.
The better answer would have been to simply move the VPS to another host (I didn't ask for help to debug any issues from support anyway). If you were that keen on a root cause, you should have just added some credit to our account so we could spin up a new VPS to get our workloads up and running immediately, and then I'd be more than happy to help you figure out what the problem was.
No one should run their services on a provider who puts their own needs and wants (out of arrogance, perhaps) of an analysis before resolving the customer's request. You cannot trust a provider like that.
Now, instead of having a customer who was planning to spend several hundred EUR a month with Melbicom, they'll have one who spends zero (of course, they don't appear to want to refund anything I paid for the servers which I've barely used for 3 days before running into the problem either, but that's okay - everyone will get what they have deserved in the end).

UPDATE: Subsequent to this review, Melbicom have refunded the money on the servers and unprovisioned them as I had requested. It's a shame that this did not work out, but as a business they must be called out for their honesty in this matter. So thank you, Melbicom.

This Provider dont provide support very well, it's always a very slow response ticket.
We just sent payment successfully but the invoice is still UNPAID because of their API error.
After more Than 5 Hours of waiting and no response, we canceled all our servers and migrated to another Server VPS Provider.
INVOICE ID MLLTPI-32576 , wasting our money on a bad provider.

Paid for a VPS. The money from the card was charged. VPS is not activated, tech support is not responding.

UPDATE:
I regretfully need to update my rating and remove one star due to the unsatisfactory customer service experience. It is disappointing to encounter such a lack of professionalism and an apparent disregard for the customer's needs, particularly regarding the inability to consolidate bills into a single invoice, a standard practice for most finance departments. I hope the company can improve its customer service and demonstrate a greater commitment to addressing customer concerns in the future.
Original Review:
Melbicom has one of the fastest 10Gbps networks I have experienced. Pretty much all of the VPS locations they are offering are performing consistently around 5-8 Gbps. This is great and the prices are also very competitive.
There are two shortcomings of Melbicom, otherwise, it would have been five stars.
1) The company is based in Lithuania. As you might expect the customer service speaks very poorly English and customer service etiquette is generally lacking.
2) They tend to block port 25 on some of their VPS to prevent spam. But this isn't done consistently across all of their offerings, which is strange. We use POSTIX to connect to AWS SES to send out system health check emails to our staff. Not allowing that is not great for us. Surely there must be better ways than blocking port 25 altogether.
Don't buy from Melbicom.
I bought a KVM VPS and after waiting for 3 days for it to be activated I created a ticket and they closed it without any apparent reason.
Disclaimer: I'm still waiting for it to be activated, but I doubt it will...
STAY AWAY FROM THEM PLEASE!
Never trust this service. They deactivated all my servers without any refund (paid in advance for 1 year)
