Fraudulent company!

Fraudulent company!
After a sole online purchase, they charged me 40 dollars on my creditcard. All of a sudden my email address was unknown at the webpage. I had to block my Credit Card.

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Placed my order about a month ago and 0 updates 0 replies from them and nothing. The delivery page says en route since a month ago and their customer service which says should reply within 48 hours max didnt reply to me since 5 days. I paid 60$ and I haven’t received anything. Extremely poor service. Would not recommend

The worst customer service I have…

The worst customer service I have faced, they locked me into a subscription after advertising it was a FREE trial. Then the products don't turn up for three weeks to find they are stuck at the post office and I have to pay an extra £15 just to release it. Expressed all of these issues to the service team and they just sent me screenshots of where it says it's going to automatically sign you up for a renewing subscription when you make an account. I can see reading the reviews a few people have had the same issues with the automatic subscription and yet they still continue to use backwards marketing tactics to trick customers into giving them money, laughable really...The worst customer service I have faced, they locked me into a subscription after advertising it was a FREE trial. Pretty good cosmetics

Pretty good cosmetics! Didn't have to pay customs fees like others, but this is not the company's fault. You're the responsible citizen of your country, not them. And it's easier for you to know your own country rules instead of them having to know how customs work in 80+ countries.

Anyway, the products are nice. Already on the second batch and my girlfriend did notice the other day how my pores look way cleaner (I have big pores on the T area and a tendency for oily skin and hair).
I'm not too keen on the new containers - they are a bit bulky. I get that they are more resistant than glass but the smaller ones were more convenient for travelling. No biggie - I can just transfer some of the contents to the old containers.

TL;DR great work! I've been struggling for years with keeping my pores clean and this is doing great.

I supposedly started this trial for…

I supposedly started this trial for free a so called one time thing. I’d love an explanation, to why these sorry people had the audacity to continuously charge me quadruple times. When I’m reality if it was for free, I should not have been charged at all. These sorry people done caught me slipping. Unfortunately, when my account is almost at zero. They decide to come in & charge me $153 etc money that I never even bought to begin with. So yes I am highly upset, that my account is on overdraft momentarily. Thanks to this grimy company & their products are crap, I would’ve never thought about buying these scam products. I am very disappointed in their actions & their products as well. Now I am going to have to cancel my card unless I want them consistently robbing me. I’d advise you all not to even think about getting these wack products, no wonder they don’t do refunds for robbing people blind from their own money. I suppose this is how they make their share of profit, fooled me once shame on me...but this is most certainly not going to occur again. Hope I was able to open people’s eyes before they make a big mistake!

Effective skincare and they let you try their products for free!

I've been using Skin Co. products for about 6 months now and the difference is my skin is night and day. I tried their free trial, canceled the subscription so that I don't forget, and used the trial set for 6 weeks. I just paid for shipping and got three full sized products to test out. I resubscribed at some point because I ran out of my trial products and I've been a loyal customer ever since. $24 per month for a routine of 3 products is very inexpensive for the quality that you get. Their customer service is great too! They've added free products to my subscription orders to try out like a mini free trial. I highly recommend!

A Genuine Fan Now

I've used multiple brands and products over the years in men's skincare, and I'll say Lumin is firmly among my all-time favorites at this point (along with Kiehl's and Philosophy). I've been using Lumin's Age Management set for about two months now (morning and night) and I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out -- really good rejuvenated looks even on days when I should look much more fatigued. I pair it with some SPF 50 on most days. Cheers to the good stuff!

Average

It took along time to come about 3 weeks and I was charged extra for custom charges. I used the product for 1 month. Honestly it did make some difference, waking up in the morning with brighter skin less puffy. However I found a cream available in the uk which does exact same thing. What it did do is get me into a good night time skin care routine.

DAMAGES Skin and doesn't work

Lots of people are mentioning the customs charge to the UK and yes, this is valid.

However, there is a far more serious issue that's not been covered - these products contain a chemical which makes your skin more susceptible to sun damage! So it will actually make your skin much, much worse and could lead to melanomas.

With regards to the products themselves - they simply do not work. I've been using the anti-ageing/wrinkle 'pen' along with the dark circles product solidly for a month, as advised. I have seen no improvements or changes whatsoever.

The moisturiser does work, but the containers are so laughably small (think the miniature jars of jam you get for breakfast in hotels) that the cost makes it impossible to sustain. There's no way I or anybody else will pay nearly £50 just for a minuscule pot of moisturiser.

Get yourself to Kiehls and you'll find much better products for a lot less.

CUSTOMS CHARGES BEWARE

Average product, and the "free" trial where you have to pay £7 for postage also costs an additional £12 customs charges!!

Don't market to the UK if you're not going to make customers aware that this is coming from the USA.

You should be refunding all of these customs charges immediately!

Underhand business - hidden charges. Avoid.

Again ordering to the UK incurs a hidden 12 pound customs fee which they're perfectly aware of and never bother to tell you about. Products are decent but not worth the £50 you effectively pay for a box. And their underhand business practices leave a sour taste in the mouth. Avoid.

Amazing products!

Yes, in the UK you will definitely be paying customs fees to get these products. I was a bit upset when I ordered the trial and got charged an extra £12, but I quickly forgot about this as soon as I started using the products.

I've had acne prone skin over 15 years now and I must have tried close to a hundred different products. Most did not work at all and the ones that did had other negative side effects that I couldn't live with. That said, I'm quite pessimistic when trying new products since I've tried so many that did not work and I honestly didn't have much hope for these.

I got the classic maintenance kit as a trial so I'll just give my thoughts on each product:

Reload Exfoliator:
I have tried many different physical exfoliants in the past and my experience has been absolutely terrible. I would typically break out almost immediately. However the charcoal rub did not have any such effect on me, and I noticed that it did an amazing job of clearing up blackheads on my nose in particular.

Charcoal Cleanser:
Cleans skin really well, not too drying, has a pleasant scent and a little of this stuff goes a long way. The one month supply lasted me almost two months. After switching to this I almost immediately noticed I was breaking out less.

Moisturizer:
Wow... this stuff is amazing! I am addicted to the smell of this and it feels so incredibly good on my skin. It absorbs very quickly, it's not greasy, it's the best moisturizer I have ever tried. I seriously can't stress how good this stuff is. I feel genuine excitement at the thought of putting this on.

After going through the trial I ordered a 6 month supply. I got a £19 fee to import it which I wasn't thrilled about but I honestly don't care because I really love this stuff!
