This is my second order as I was so impressed with the service and friendliness of this company, Joe is so happy to help and responds immediately, the bull nose skirting and architrave looks amazing I got primed product and looks fabulous I used a small roller to paint them eggshell and could not be happier with the finished look, yes I would highly recommend Metres Direct also beat all other companies around with quick delivery definitely 5*

I kept putting on Joseph from MD and he constantly delivered. Times are hard at the minute but that didn’t stop the MD team. Amazing service

Ordered architrave based on the image displayed, but when arrived was quite different. Contacted Joseph who explained that the profile does differ depending on the width and depth selected. I advised that I was trying to match something that was custom cut from a new build developer, so sent images to see if they could get close. After a couple of emails I was able to get a great match, and within 48 hours (excluding the weekend) I had the new product and it is brilliant. It is really well packed too!
Really pleased with the end result. My suggestion is to contact them just to check the profile you want - just send an email / give them a quick call and I’m sure they’ll sort it all out for you.

Very much would recommend these guys. I needed several skirting boards and a window boards for my living room -- which Joe from Metres Direct very kindly produced very quickly to make sure I had them on time.

Ordered 170 x 18mm Regency B skirting & architrave for our lounge renovation and needed it at quite short notice. The guys at metresdirect were happy to help and got it turned around as quick as they could. The quality of the products is up there with the best Iv used. It’s the first time of used these guys and I will certainly be using them again.

WOW! First time I have used Metres Direct and actually the first time I have used MDF for skirting. I have not been disappointed on either front.

I am completing a new build house and I used metres direct after reading the feedback left by others. I bought MDF skirting and Architraving and oak window boards for the window sills. The sales team (Joseph) in particular are really passionate about their Company and about doing the right thing to help you get the job sorted.
The advice and good old customer service that I have received has been brilliant 👍🏼.

Simple. Superb. Quickest, easiest process I have used to order building related supplies in a *very* long time.

I asked if they had a particular product in stock. The chap didn't even need to check ... he clearly knew his products and stock lines.

And then he went even further and didn't charge any more to get it to me a day sooner.

My wife ordered from them previously and said she couldn't believe how easy it was. I have to agree.

I wish all companies were this easy to deal with ;-)

Two of the three lengths of skirting arrived damaged unfortunately but Joe took the time to give me a call and refund some of the money spent and got some extra sent out today.
A+++ customer service, will definitely use again and recommend.

I can honestly say I have pestered the manager Joseph so many times and he’s been nothing but patient and accommodating. I received my delivery on time and the items are amazing quality. I was shocked at the quality for the price I paid. I looked at a dozen websites for skirting and metres Direct was the quickest and cheapest delivery. I then ordered architraves from them too. I would recommend them highly.

I ordered a large piece of window board to make a window sill for a large rear window in our house. We could not find the dimensions we needed anywhere else. The rolled edge of the window board was fine but the board arrived damaged due to being improperly packaged. One end of the board has obviously taken on some moisture as it had blistered and was beginning to disintegrate. Thankfully I managed to trim off the damaged edge and as I am painting the sill, the scuffs won’t be visible. Lucky!

Having just built a new house and ordered all our skirting board and architrave from Metres Direct I have to say the quality of the products and the prices are excellent. We received brilliant service and would highly recommend this Company.
