This was our 4th, very efficient property disposal transaction over an 8-year period. MJP offered outstanding service to us as overseas non-residents via a very well planned and executed client logging online system. Super quick responses to any queries we had and on the ball with all communications with our purchaser's solicitors. Wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone with property to sell.

A friend recommended MJP to me back in 2021 and I was so impressed with them that I used them again this year when I purchased another property.
Initially I was worried about using an online conveyancer but it couldn't be easier. The team are so efficient, respond quickly and you can request to speak with them at a time suited to you should you wish to.
If I ever move again I wouldn't hesitate to use MJP.

Professional, clear communication and responsive. Portal very easy to use. Also visited to drop off signed paper work and the customer care is very polite in person too. A very efficient service.

I have used MJP a fair few times now. What I particularly like is the access to updates without having to call an office.
The team are great. Professional and expert at all times. Response times are good.
I have 2 comments though.
I think the software is starting to feel extremely dated. No spellchecker for example. The formatting is very very basic. Typing outside the text box etc. Navigation through the various screens can be arduous and certainly when you’re new to the site. I feel quite sure that there will be other online conveyancing services by now. I wonder if their platforms might be slicker…
So having said, maybe not and certainly the service MJP provides is excellent and highly convenient compared to high street conveyancing with a traditional partnership.

We have used MJP for four transactions now and they have always been brilliant. They respond to any messages the same day and are very thorough and helpful.

As a first time buyer who was recommended to use MJP by a friend (also recent first time buyer) I was very happy with the service received. In particular the updates and documents via the portal that kept me informed throughout, and had everything in one place.

Only slight improvement I could suggest is one or two of the more complicated/legalese things could have been accompanied with a plain-language explainer. However, any follow-up questions I had were quickly answered by the team.

I used MJP for sale and purchase, and they were everything you could possibly need from your conveyancing solicitors. Outstanding communication - the portal system made all correspondence transparent and you can use it to quickly organise a phone call or send them a message. Response time was never more than 24 hours, often same day, and I was always provided with the information I needed. They went above and beyond with investigation works to help me identify a potentially dodgy tradesperson in relation to my purchase. Ultimately it took 6 months to get to completion but that was caused by things outside of MJP control, although they did everything they could to expedite the process, and I was not charged extra. The original quote was slightly more expensive than other online conveyancers but MJP were worth every single penny and I am very pleased that I appointed them.

As first time buyers we had absolutely no clue what we were doing but MJP were honestly amazing with all of their help. No question was silly to them and they were very prompt with their reply times, constantly keeping my mind at ease. I really enjoyed the use of the online portal rather than emailing/ having to wait on the phone. I would definitely recommend them. We had a few issues with our mortgage company but Christina was beyond helpful at sorting it out! Thank you!

Excellent online portal, very clear and any questions were answered promptly. Call backs were also very quick and at the time requested. All staff work on the file so there is no waiting if any staff are absent.
They made the whole buying process clear and stress free explaining everything all the way.

First time using MJP and have nothing but praise for them. Handy online client page where you can see everything that is going on with your sale, or purchase.

They actioned all queries within the same day in my experience and although you cannot call them directly, they were quick at calling you back if you requested it, and at the requested time.

I would definitely use them again for any conveyancing needs I have.

There are points in the process where MJP could do more to guide their clients in terms of explaining what's expecting at various steps on conveyancing.

at some points the information was amazing and thorough and at others it was lacking, mostly around exchange and completion.

I would still very much recommend MJP however, they were amazing.

We chose MJP Online Property based on strong online reviews and a friendly initial phone call. Unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. All communication was handled through a portal which hadn’t been updated since maybe the 90s, and we were constantly passed between different team members with no continuity or personalised support.

As first-time buyers, we received little to no guidance throughout the process. There were repeated delays to exchange and completion, largely due to poor communication and a lack of clarity. We were asked multiple times from different people for documents we had already provided, and at no point were we given advice on what to prepare in advance or how financial arrangements (like the deposit transfer) would need to be handled. MJP repeatedly assured us that we’d be ready to transfer on certain days, only to request more bank statements at the very last minute. We nearly lost the house on several occasions.

Overall it felt impersonal, disorganised, and unnecessarily stressful. I cannot stress enough how harmful this is when buying your first home.

We came across MJP Conveyancing in 2018 when we bought a home and since then we came back and used them several times more as we sold and bought a few different properties. What makes us come back:

1. We always get an answer to our questions on the same day.
2. All incoming post / emails from the other party is reviewed in a day or less
3. We get to read ALL communications held with the other party's solicitors and this is so so useful. Most solicitors only bother to tell their client what they think they ought to know but then sometimes things get missed. If we didn't get to read everything we would be wondering what was happening and why. But instead we know exactly who is holding the process. And guess what, it isn't us!
If all solicitors worked this way, conveyancing would be much quicker for sure.

I am aware some people don't like the service because there isn't only 1 point of contact. Yes up until exchange, there can be 5 different people working on our file. And some are perhaps better than others (I had a few favourites this time around). However this is the way they found to speed response time and overall it works really well.

We will keep using MJP Conveyancing when we next buy or sell a house.

We have found MJP to be a most efficient service. Staff are quick to respond and to provide advice and support when required. They are polite and professional at all times. The on-line portals are brilliant with everything so transparent, you always know exactly what is happening at every stage of the process. Would totally recommend this company.
