Have not received my chairs after 3 months and am still being harassed by dividebuy for monthly payments!

DO NOT USE!!

Furniture delivered and damaged and now no way to contact the company! This is fraud and has been passed to my bank.

In the space of 3 years the table had to be replaced twice due to the plastic rattan splitting in the heat. On top of that the items were delivered with what seemed like rodent bite marks on them. Looks good on the website but scratch beneath the surface and the quality is extremely poor. Buy elsewhere as the customer service is questionable unfortunately. Such a shame. Now the original company went bust the new owners won’t honour the guarantee . Avoid like the plague

Utterly disappointed by Moda’s after care once my rattan furniture was delivered. Upon arrival, one piece was not in line with the rest of the sofa. The delivery man said he reported it to Moda at the time and a new piece would be delivered the next day. Once this did not happen, I used Moda’s contact form on the website which eventually enabled me to have contact from Hamza (customer support team). Although he offered me compensation, many emails later and never a quick reply, it was minimal in comparison to my experience. I provided my thoughts on what I should receive, as this was asked for. However, I have not heard anything. I have now been waiting two weeks since then.

Avoid at all costs, customer services phone has been disconnected and can’t get any help when they deliver the wrong items. We bought from the shop, which was our only saving grace to get our money back. We had 6 deliveries in total, one time a box was dropped on our patio and the driver said he was going to call his office but instead got in his van and drove off! Leaving a 2.3m table in a box abandoned! Wasted nearly 4 months trying to resolve their mistakes. I don’t believe we would have got our money back if it wasn’t for the shop! This company is going under soon. Don’t buy from them unless you want terrible service and no way to complain.

Beware - this company has gone into administration. Below is a message from customer support:

On the 14th of July 2023, 'Moda Furnishings Limited' entered Administration and is now operating as 'Moda Furnishings' under new ownership by Giomani Designs Limited.

As a result of these changes, the Administrators are unable to process refunds, replacements, or exchanges at this time. This also means that any outstanding warranty claims or exchange requests cannot be fulfilled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We recognize the trust you have placed in Moda and your reliance on our products/services. We deeply regret that we are unable to fulfill our commitments to you in this instance. However, for any future purchases with MODA FURNISHINGS, I will personally ensure that you receive the assistance you need.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The delivery guys RENADO and RAWAND were very polite, took great care in the delivery of my garden furniture. We’re on time.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! I tried contacting this company via various channels- email, phone (they are not currently accepting phone calls due to high volume of callers??), social media, through bank and I’ve had absolutely no joy in anyone returning my requests for help. Garden furniture damaged upon arrival and I need spare parts to replace feet of chairs as they are missing making chairs unusable as unstable. Please avoid this company as they are impossible to contact and you are left with non functioning garden furniture and it wasn’t cheap! AVOID!

I am writing regarding a placed under the name Aaron Ferdinand, for a furniture storage box, totalling £450. What has been delivered is incorrect, and despite multiple attempts to contact you by phone and email, you have failed to respond or rectify the situation.

Please be advised that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am legally entitled to receive the goods as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. Your failure to provide the correct item and your ongoing refusal to engage in communication is a breach of contract, and as such, I am now preparing to escalate this matter formally.

If I do not receive a full refund or arrangement for immediate collection and redelivery of the correct item within 7 calendar days, I will be taking the following actions without further notice:
1. Initiating a chargeback or dispute through my bank/card provider.
2. Reporting your company to Trading Standards and Citizens Advice Consumer Service.
3. Pursuing a claim through the Small Claims Court, which may include recovery of legal fees and any additional costs incurred.

This message serves as formal notice before action. I strongly advise that you treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it requires.

Spent nearly £3k on a large order. We bought Moda a lovely table in 2021 and decided to order more. Lured in by the 40% off sale we spent a large amount of money. The stock that arrived was clearly old, some problems with the new stuff and missing a cushion on a recliner. The phone lines dont work and no response to emails or forms. They were bought out of admin in 2023 and it is clear they are sweating the remaining assets, and the brand whilst it lasts! I used to recommend Moda when it was a premium brand but it is now a buyout by Giomani Designs who are masquerading behind this imploding star. I will have to resort to using my credit card company to get money back; if you do decide to ignore these reviews make sure to use a credit card!

I ordered from Moda a month ago and the experience has been terrible. You can't contact the company (they've switched their phone lines off "due to high volumes") and the chat function on their website doesn't work. And they've not replied to a single one of my emails. I'm having to claim my money back through the credit card company. Mode went into administration in 2023 and my best guess is that some clowns have bought the stock and are trying to move it on with the lowest costs possible, i.e. minimal staff and no tech.

I purchased a corner garden suite and ice box cooler in 2020, it is top quality and still looks brand new. I wanted a new 4 seater patio dining table and chairs, so re-ordered from Moda in May 2025 it did take a couple of weeks to be delivered, all in perfect condition and top quality, there was 1 back cushion missing, but I emailed Moda and they rang me to apologise and then delivered the missing cushion about 10 days later. I have no complaints.

Placed an order that was never delivered, and I’ve been chasing a refund since 23rd May with no success. Despite multiple emails, I’ve received no acknowledgement, no response, and no update whatsoever. I even requested that a complaints team get involved, again, zero communication.

It’s now been over a month and still out of pocket with no resolution. The complete lack of accountability and customer support is absolutely shocking!! Don't order from them

Some of my order arrived so I got lucky compared to others. Two clowns arrived with no lifting aids and proceeded to literally drop my furniture of the back of their van. What I received had clearly been used and re-packaged. There is no service. No email response and their phone line will tell you they have stopped answering calls due to demand. They appear to have stolen my money as some of the order has yet to arrive and what didnarrive was clearly used. It is a scam presented via a slick website. Don’t be seduced by the prices. Judging by my experience and the experience of others you will probably be robbed one way or another.

SCAM!!! DO NOT USE!! I will be reporting these people to trading standards. Not only did they not deliver my furniture on several occasions - one ridiculous excuse after another. Not only did they not refund me after I emailed and phoned them. They are now trying to claim the delivered the items by posting fraudulent photographs - even though their own original emails contradict delivery dates. They have posted a photo of the back of a delivery van as 'proof of delivery'! Unbelievable!! These people are thieves and I can not belive they are still trading given the amount of people who have had the same experience.

Have reported this website to the National Security Cyber Centre as possibly fraudulent.

Update this is a genuine website and appears the delays are due to volume of requests.

Website though could do with fixing contact links etc

I've had a Moda set for 7 years and it has lasted really well. I recently ordered some extra pieces and after accepting my order and taking my money over a month ago, I've found it impossible to contact them about my order. The phone number is 'temporarily unavailable' which it seems has been like that for a long time now. Emailing gets a message back saying it is undeliverable. Raising a ticket on their website does absolutely nothing.
After research, the company went into administration in 2023 and was bought by Giomani Designs Limited on 14th July 2023. Clearly they are not able to run the company. Have had to raise a payment dispute with my credit card company

I purchased a garden set ~£2,000. The rattan material that is ‘weatherproof’. The material has failed and split. I contacted Moda who said:

They ended the message by saying they will help me if I want to buy another new one! So they can change the name to avoid all responsibilities.

Do not give them your money

Appalling service, takes over a month to respond to emails, no direct contact number ,
A table purchased is now riddled with holes

Don’t buy rattan tables they will fall apart in a few years the company goes bankrupt restarts under the same name selling the same furniture and tells you the guarantee is no longer valid.
