I was questioning how helpful the first two sessions were when the provider did not arrive for the third session. Now I've been changed to someone else. I will give it one more try.

I love my therapist. She is great and very helpful. However, I’m not a fan of having to pay a copay AND a monthly fee.

I do receive good counseling from Michele.
I do, although, wonder if a change in counseling would improve effective improvement with my mental health.
Is it possible to have a change of counselors to see if I could do even better?

Having a difficult time scheduling a session with a therapist. More than a few of the therapists that are referred to me have areas of expertise that are of no use to me (teenage issues, sexual orientation, etc).

Outstanding! I will definitely get back in touch when I get relocated. The price is reasonable and the staff are well qualified staff.

So far an extremely inpersonal and difficult experience and I haven't even seen a therapist yet. Their technology (which you pay a monthly fee for eventually), doesn't work on an iphone, switched to laptop and their website has graphics covering login button. They need a new web designer. Had to do the intake form 4 times, kept erasing, finally scheduled an appointment and the nurse is a man!! As someone who has PTSD from sexual assualt, no offense to him but a female should have been an option! No option to reschedule with another nurse. Then they ask you to use a 3rd party site for billing. They sent a link and i keep clicking and it says my email isn't recognized. Then I get an email saying if I don't set up billing with my insurance I'll be charged cash price on my credit card (which they take first thing by the way). The whole things has been a nightmare, 3 days of back and forth and no support at all. I cancelled my appointment, just forget it!

My therapist Orlando

My therapist Orlando. I think my biggest concern was finding the right person for me, and I did. We are so much alike and we have amazing discussions.

Experience, Resourceful, Intuitive Therapist

Well, it took a few tries for Mood to locate a therapist who would accept Medicare, but the abilities of the one they found earns them 5 stars. He's very resourceful, with experience in a variety of positions, which he has used to help me. I have several issues, some situational, some more internal. He intuitively manages to help me focus on what needs to take priority.

Mood Therapy via Zoom was the help I needed

Mood Therapy has helped me tremendously!! I had never experienced any therapy "over the internet" and the fact that it was available to me was wonderful. I believe that the pre-visit questioner was a perfect opportunity for me to do some self-reflection, and also for my therapist to read what my ongoing issues were, and how I was managing (or not).

Awful service, zero communication

This will be rather long. I was referred by my GP to be screened for ADHD and treated for anxiety. I got an email from the company, asking me to call for an appt. The number given did not accept outside phone calls (?) and would not let me leave a message. I return emailed twice a couple of days apart before they called me to schedule the appointments. I believe I gave a debit card number to this person for some up front fee.

After I was scheduled, I received several more automatically generated emails, some with questionnaires regarding my health. One email insisted they needed a credit card or I would have no appointment. I responded to the email that I felt very uncomfortable just giving them my credit card with no idea of what I would be charged. There was no reply, even though the email literally said to respond if I had questions.

I looked further at the links on one of the emails, which explained that they were having trouble verifying insurance, so EITHER I could give them a credit card and pay the total "in network" cost up front - with NO MENTION of how much this was - or I would be billed the "out of network" cost. Or, I could cancel with no fee until this situation was resolved. I canceled.

Immediately, I received an auto generated email from Mood Health, showing they had charged my debit card $95 for cancellation fees.

I called their number, got an answering machine, left a message. Never got a call back
I emailed, and I admit, it was an angry email, and got no immediate response to that.

I called my bank and started an investigation into the charge.

Then, I got a response to my email. The rep said I had signed a "financial document" that stated I had to pay a fee if I cancelled inside of 48 hours (I never signed anything) and that all of the appointment reminders had that information on them. He additionally added that I could reinstate the appointment and they would bill me afterwards - exactly the opposite of what the previous email said.

I responded back to him with a copy/paste of the words on their own appointment reminders "there MAY be additional fees if you cancel in less than 48 hours" and added the exact email that said I would not be charged cancellation fees. I said "If you are telling me that I can still have my appointment tomorrow and my insurance will be billed, that is fine, but I am really unhappy with how all of this has gone down."

There was no response until the next day, when I received an email stating I would be refunded and an offer to be put back on the schedule. I asked my GP for a different referral.

Its great when you find someone you connect with

Jackie has been wonderful and compassionate. She has given me a lot of helpful advice and resources. I've had other therapists in the past and know how important it is to relate to them, and she is very easy to talk to.

The communication from Mood Health was…

The communication from Mood Health was extremely poor. It is impossible to call and talk to anyone. When I did receive a call back often times the person I spoke with knew nothing of my previous appointment. I met with a female psychiatrist who had a nasty nose ring hanging out of her nose. I couldn't even make myself look at her during our interaction. I found this very unprofessional.
