Motorpoint - Norwich Reviews 

Staff were excellent - Lily was super helpful and knowledgeable, finding me an even better car than I'd have hoped for. Dave was also very friendly and attentive when it came to picking up my car. Could not fault them - have already recommended them to a friend who is also after a new car!

Motorpoint or Motorpointless.

I Paid for the vehicle I was interested in to be moved from Derby to Norwich, a distance of about 170 miles. Took Motorpointless nearly two weeks. So it appears having paid them they then got someone to push it the entire distance, doesn't appear to be any other explanation for how long it took to move a car from A to B so slowly. With the car having finally arrived we booked in to view and then hopefully purchase. Sadly during the time it had been pushed from Derby to Norwich it had been through a sandstorm, but having arrived in Norwich no one had the inclination to have it cleaned. So off we went in a dirty car for a test drive, with the inside of the car nearly as dirty as the outside. Test drive completed and having established that the windscreen wipers should have been consigned to the bin months ago we set about the paperwork. But oh no...driving it away on the agreed collection day suddenly ran into a stumbling block. We couldn't take the car, as it required some sort of technical intervention. Maybe the long push from Derby had caused some issues, who knows. But with the collection rearranged for the following week we left Motorpointless to sort out the technical fix they'd identified. They also had to locate the manufacturers charging cables for the car as well as sorting out the wipers, all straightforward simple tasks, which could be easily sorted whilst the car was being professionally valeted.
Oddly having agreed the rearranged collection date Motorpointles staff decided to bombard me with messages and calls to book in to pick up the car.. something I'd already done. But I replied to the emails telling them such and double checking they had the charging cable and wiper issue in hand....no one bothered to reply to my email though.
So collection day arrives.....but no car to be seen. Turns out it was off being valeted, whilst waiting its return we set about the paperwork, mentioning the charging cables and wipers...sadly neither of which were available for us on the rearranged date, more on this later.
The car returned and we were invited to go and check all was ok. Given the delay and the timescale Motorpointless had available to them to present a gleaming pristine vehicle, it turned out that instead of using that opportunity the car had been taken to someone who'd used a dirty rag on the windows and clearly had eyesight issues as their idea of clean meant leaving areas of the car unvaleted.
With no more time available to us, given this was already our second visit we finalised the payment sorted out the tax and were all set to go, but oh no, theres no charger and no one has any idea about the wipers, strange given the previous conversation and email. But after a myriad of excuses it was agreed they'd post the charger and the wipers. With keys in hand and promises made off I go. Me and the car become immediately acquainted when it decided to tell me one of the tyre pressures was too low. Clearly the rigorous PDI at Motorpointless was conducted by the same person who does the valeting. With the tyre issue resolved I awaited the delivery of the charger and wipes.
These turned up yesterday (19th March).
All swiftly unpacked.....I am now the owner of some wipers that won't fit the car and a car charger which i think has come from Temu as it states in the booklet do not use in the rain, handy in the UK then. In fairness at the time of writing Motorpointless aren't aware of the wiper / charger issue so they definitely have the opportunity to step up and resolve these issues.....let's see how they do.

Whilst I had a couple of hiccups along the way over all I had a very positive experience dealing with the Norwich Motorpoint staff in particular Shannon and Kassey.
Shannon kept me up to speed each step of the way and was always polite and courteous, would recommend motorpoint Norwich to others.

Recently financed a new car with motor point as my current car’s finance was coming to an end, first time i’ve been to motor point but what can i say but thank you to how helpful everyone was, they have a huge variety of cars available to choose from, im on a PCP finance but wanted to move to a HP finance and they made that transition flawless, the purchase of a new car was super quick and easy and everything was really easy to understand, i had to wait for the car to be delivered but that also came sooner than expected, for anyone who’s deciding what to do or where to go for a new car i highly recommend motor point norwich, a huge thank you to jack who completed this whole process for me and to zak for his help on the day of pick up and also to savannah who completed everything so i could drive my new car away, top guys and girls super friendly made me and my partner at ease with this process, also shout out to dave super friendly guy, thank you motor point

from the time i walked into the showroom i felt valued as a customer there was no pushy salespeople to pounce i always felt valued as a customer nothing was ever to much trouble. Lily and David were excellent and both made me very much at home. Will highly recomend them to anyone. Great exeperience all round

After booking an appointment, scanning and uploading all of ym service history and my bank details, and ID, and filling out the car details, at not one point was I asked whether my car was written off. I was given my booking date and time, with a quote for my car.
I arranged for a friend to collect me after dropping my car off, as I am disabled and do not live near the local Motorpoint.
When I arrive you haven't bothered to check anything, and haven't even got my details in front of you, making me repeat them all. And then you finally ask whether it's written off, after finally checking online. Then you tell me that you won't take my car.
What an absolutely useless, time wasting company.
I sat in the car crying afterwards.
All you needed to do was actually check my details,or ask in the form. Simple. But no. You've dragged me through it all, wasted my time and fuel wasted my mates time and fuel, made me feel like vrap and I still need to arrange for my car to be sold.

Best experience at a car dealership. Got my perfect car with no sales pressure just lovely vibes and an amazing team.

Friendly sales team (Norwich)who talked me through options for type of car I needed. Test drives quickly available from a large range of models. I will be using Motorpoint again and recommending to others.

The choice of cars is great. They are all quite new and have low mileage. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The handover of the new car could be improved. No demonstrations on how equipment works. Also after sales needs improving. I found after collecting car there were no service or handbook which Motorpoint have not been very helpful only coming up with poor solutions rather than obtaining the correct books

The staff worked very hard to find the right car for me with several staff taking part. There were 2 problems with the car which was accepted and dealt with without hesitation.
I was extremely happy with the whole experience and will recommend them.

Most car showrooms are intimidating for solo older female purchasers. Not so this time. Salesman was not pushy or gushy and gave me the information to make up my own mind, with no pressure. I had deliberately chosen what I thought would be a quiet time and this paid off.

Hassle free car buying got to test drive vehicle was hoping to get slightly more for part exchange! And complimentary mats would of been nice!! Libby was nice and helpful did all the paperwork only criticism was dirty engine bay but rest of car was clean. Thanks
