Quick and easy, we were happy with the sale price of the car and the dealer collected it super quick.
Motorway is a great way to sell your car, easy to set up & sold in 24hr hrs.
Pretty painless experience. Buyer was very pleasant. The winning bid from Motorway was over £1000 more than offers from CarWow and WeBuyAnyCar.
Would definitely use Motorway again.
Thank you very much for everything.Your service and support is perfect.Would recommend, we would definitely use motorway again.
The upload and auction process were all simple and efficient. Motorway pointed out some extra damage which was then included in the listing. Price at auction was good.
From then on it was all very slow and clunky. Communication with the buyer was slow. Car could not be picked up in the 7-10 day window so i had to drive it an hour and a half away to drop it off as needed it to go sooner than the company who bought it could arrange. I then got beaten down on the price and found myself negotiating a new deal because brake pads were worn and alternator on its last legs. I had no way of knowing either of these things and could not verify then and there (having driven 90 mins) if this was true or not so had to accept lower price.
Don’t really see the point of Motorway being in the middle seeing as i then had to haggle anyway. Simpler just to go to a second hand car dealer. It seems to me that buyers will place a high bid and then beat you down on price… so auction price is not the final price at all. Would not recommend or use again. Stressful experience.

Very good experience no problems but it did take longer than l expected.
You need to explain what the process involves: ie: say what photos will he required, what documents are required, explain that you deal with the VC5 - before we start working from the app.
I got very frustrated that every time I uploaded photos and pressed "continue" you asked for more photos.
Other than that it's a good process and you paid me what you offered - and I loved that the payment was in my bank before you drove the car away.
I found my Motorway experience a very quick and efficient way of selling my car. There was good communication and the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. I received a fair price for my car and would certainly use Motiorway again.
Communication was excellent throughout, and whilst we got slightly less than the original ‘estimate’ once the car went to auction, we were satisfied with the price. Collection was seamless and money came through immediately. The purchasing dealer kept in contact and the person who collected the car was professional and friendly.
Whenever I phoned to check anything the staff were very friendly and helpful. I found the system easy to use and would recommend and use again.
Initially things went well, unfortunately because of miscommunication and a bit of panic on my part caused primarily due to the speed things went through and the fact that I felt rushed, I ended up inadvertently cancelling the sale. Fortunately it was easily restored and the sale went through. I wasn't particularly happy about the winning bid was considerably under the valuation but c'est la vie.
I had a bad experience with Motorway a couple of years ago, but decided to give them another go as a couple of friends gave glowing reports. This time the process went smoothly - just as described. I was happy with the reserve quoted and that's exactly what the car achieved. There were a couple of minor glitches e.g. the purchaser was supposed to be organising their own transport but didn't contact me, but Motorway stepped in and organised it. I was honest with my assessment of scratches etc. and so the price quoted was the price I actually received. I would happily recommend Motorway.
Always there to help with any questions regarding selling my vehicle
Efficient, professional and speedy service. We were kept informed of all the actions we needed to take and the sale process was seamless, price was fair and payment promptly.
Everything has been explained in detail and the process was fairly simple. I spoke with Leo who was very polite and helpful.
The process for putting my car on Motorway was simple and I was quoted a very reasonable guide price, which was achieved on the sale. Once my car was collected the payment was instant and the service fee was not expensive.
Process was easy to do and even better there was a live chat rather than having to try and call. Everything was explained and gone through in detail.
