Very sorry about this. We understand it can be disruptive to have to wait longer than expected for the conversion to complete.

It isn't common to encounter problems like this, but they do happen from time to time.

Sorry to hear that things haven't gone smoothly. I can see you did contact our support team about bank feeds, which aren't something we can reconnect as we don't have access to customer bank accounts.

You also mentioned some problems with invoices. Looking at your conversion, it appears it contains multicurrency, and that you converted from a source system that we specifically mention (https://movemybooks.com/kb/limitations-forex/) that if multicurrency is operated, the conversion is unlikely to complete accurately. This isn't something we can fix or resolve and is likely to be the cause of several problems with your conversion.

Apologies that we couldn't provide a better service. This is the best we can do given the known and documented issues with multicurrency in your source system.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review but there are some points you’ve raised that require further clarification.

Our service is designed to be high-volume and cost-effective. Some aspects, like optional extras (ie, additional years), are available if customers wish to include them, but certain services like individual demos or telephone support are not part of our standard offering. We’ve found that some support methods, like phone calls, are less efficient for helping customers with enquiries. Instead, we encourage using our website or live chat for quick assistance.

Our pricing details and a helpful calculator are available on our pricing page (https://www.movemybooks.co.uk/pricing/). It explains that a standard conversion typically includes transactions for the current year to date plus the previous year. This standard conversion is usually subsidised by the destination software, making it more affordable. The period covered can vary depending on the chosen dates—for example:

- If a business with a December 31 year-end converts on January 1, 2026, the current year-to-date is just one day. The standard subsidised conversion period would include that day plus the full previous year.

- If they choose to convert to December 31, 2025, they will receive a full year's data for 2025 and the previous year, 2024, totalling two years of subsidised data.

If the conversion is subsidised, this year-to-date and prior year period will be automatically provided at no charge. In your case, you paid only for the additional optional years you selected, and the standard period was provided for free.
