Gemma is without doubt the best estate agent we have ever used. She delivers way beyond your expectations whilst remaining so professional and friendly throughout.

We decided to sell our flat in Cardiff last autumn and had valuations from 3 agents including Mr & Mrs Clarke. I had already decided I wanted to instruct Mr & Mrs Clarke as long as their fees weren’t too much, though I was prepared to pay more for them. I’d seen other properties marketed and loved the way they were marketed online and the photos always made the properties look lovely.

We had quotes from 2 other well known agencies in the Cardiff area and Mr & Mrs Clarke were actually the cheapest. I was genuinely shocked! It was a no brainer for us to use them.

Lisa Valentine and Mike came out to value our flat and their professionalism was unmatched. I am not fussy about it but they both removed their shoes anyway when they walked in which I thought was lovely and respectful. They looked around and asked lots of questions and took all of the information on board. We then sat down and they explained in detail to me their marketing strategy and how they would go about marketing our flat. It was so obvious how enthusiastic they are about homes and properties and that really shone through. The information they explained (even down to little photography style and when to list) demonstrated they were so knowledgeable and thorough and that we’d be in good hands.

Lisa was our lead agent and did a full day of viewings after it went on for sale - we had 7 offers in on that day alone!! We sold our flat within a week and every single offer we had was for above asking price which was fantastic for us.

Lisa was INCREDIBLE throughout the sales process. They work around you so that communication isn’t restricted and modern methods of communication meant that we had an open stream of communication to our buyer which was so valuable. Property buying and selling is very stressful and it really helped to have Lisa on hand whenever we needed and to be able to communicate openly. Lisa was fantastic especially when it came to the latter stages and there was a lot of back and forth between the various solicitors and agents. We can honestly say it took so much of the stress away for us and we would not hesitate to recommend Mr & Mrs Clarke to anybody. We cannot thank Lisa and Mike enough! Hannah & Chris

Having recently tried to sell my home with a large national agency, my experience with Gemma Parr in Marlow was fantastic.
Gemma will always show the house herself, you know that someone who knows the house well, and is great at her job, is there to guide the potential buyer.
Gemma always left a whatapp message or a voice note after each viewing so you knew how the viewing went.
I really wish that I had gone with Mr and Mrs Clarke instead of the large agency to start, and I hope Gemma is still around when I come to sell next time. Highly recommended.

Gemma - an exceptional local talent!

We met with four local agents all of which promised the world. One of those however, was Gemma; she was genuinely enthusiastic about our property, credible and most importantly she would be the individual at all times representing our property to potential buyers.

She was confident & realistic with her valuation rather than offering inflated prices to simply obtain listing and had a excellent local network that actually came through! (We sold in under a week)

Her communication throughout was relied upon from both us and our buyer and she acted as a trusted advisor. In a thoroughly challenging climate where situations change instantly and continuously she was excellent.

Beth assisted us in purchasing our new build home. Being a new build there were a few complications which Beth worked proactively with us and the Vendor to resolve the issues while trying to keep to a tight timeframe (which was out of all our control). Mike was really helpful from day dot of our (relatively smooth!) sale. We have a young family and being able to use WhatsApp to communicate made life so much easier! Mike communicated anything that arose from our buyer and due to the nature of communication, this was always easily remedied.
Mike’s team were super professional and quick to act when we needed to get our house on the market within a small time frame and he worked hard to get us the best price possible for our home- not to mention selling it to our first viewer.
