The repair was carried out quickly and well, and the communications are excellent. In-store staff were friendly and helpful. All round it was a most satisfactory experience. I'll use them again.

I used MR to replace the battery in my macbook (Apple had issued a recall for fault batteries).

I chose them because they're closer and I could get an appointment immediately, unlike at Apple's stores.

I asked them if in addition to the battery replacement whether they could replace the keyboard, which I would pay for. They came back and said that the keyboard is replaced as part of the battery replacement, so got it all done for free. Another store might have not acted that way...

They said it would take 5-7 working days (for the part to arrive) and it did indeed take 5 and I'm very happy.

This was the most seamless, painless laptop fix I have ever had. Will never go to an Apple store again so long as I can go to MR Islington.

Didn't really seem that motivated to investigate the actual cause of the problems with my MacBook Pro. Just suggested that I re-install the operating system and then restore from my time machine back-up... and then after I have spent about 10 hours doing all that, I should just hope that everything will be ok.

Quick turnaround with keyboard issue

Turned in my computer this last Friday, the people there were so knowledgable and called me throughout the day to update me on what was going on and telling me what had caused the problem.

Got notified when to pick at up and when I did I was told they had fixed the problem and updated my computer.

I’ve turned the same computer in before at another place where I myself had to call them and ask when to pick it back up, so MR Islington was such a good choice this time! Genuinely such a nice team and I would highly recommend going there!

I'm sure they're really good at fixing computers.
However I was directed to them by Apple for an issue with a 2011/12 iMac, called them to make an appointment, and explained the issue. The guy at the end of the phone told me they could fix it so I drove the machine from Greenwich to Shoreditch only to be told they couldn't fix it after all. So two hours schlepping across London for nothing.

Really great experience and friendly people, everyone at the MR Islington were helpful and my Mac was brought back to life within 15minutes, WOW! A very happy customer thank you again!

great service, I have used the Islington branch a number of times to repair damaged phones and they are always really easy to deal with - they are organised, communicative, efficient and effective.
