Dear Nikki

Yes we were on Watchdog a couple of weeks ago following 2 complaints made about delays with their refunds. By the time the program had been aired, both refunds had been actioned.

We found the experience to be very helpful and it has enabled us to revisit our terms and conditions and to make adjustments to our website and our course packages etc...

Overall we found it to beavery useful and positive experience which has enabled us to make significant changes.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - we booked a course earlier this year and despite numerous complaints, emails and attempts of getting a refund no money has been returned despite many promises!!!! What a scam

It is impossible to rate this company…

It is impossible to rate this company low enough. I paid a £399 deposit for an intensive automatic driving course with theory test and driving test
I was let down twice! The first time was very short notice and the second time I was not even contacted.
I have been trying for a month now to get my deposit back and conveniently all the lines are constantly busy!
I have emailed complaints and still no action.
I have left messages to be called back, but no action.
I recommend you look for another company because this one feels like a scam.

SCAM - AVOID

Like many others here I had course cancelled the day it was supposed to start. When applying for refund just "we're working on it" messages for 3 months now. Filed with small claims court.

EDIT : I'm not sure if it's a typo in their reply, but just to be clear, I provided my booking details after they flagged this review as fraudulent and Trustpilot subsequently dismissed their complaint, which is why we are all still able to read it.

EDIT 2 (04.11.24): The same day they made this first reply and "were unable to verify my booking" they responded to the smalls claim court filing admiting fault and claiming I would be paid in full. The deadline for that payment passed yesterday and I doubt it will surprise anyone to read that it was not recieved. Now we move on to CCJ.

If I could score a zero I would

If I could score a zero I would. Unhelpful staff. Unable to speak to any representative on the phone. They have taken nearly £1500 3 months ago and still no driving lessons.

I have request a refund and still no response. Currently look at taking to small claims as this company is unable to for fill contractual obligations

The company just ignores you when you try and speak to them.

Avoid at all costs

Two days on been promised an answer…

Two days on been promised an answer cannot get onto chat think I’ve been blocked. Total total lies and deceit I saved up for these lessons for months so upset please don’t book with these people

Booked a course for my son’s 18th birthday. Paid £1200 .. 9 months on still trying to get my money back… nothing but thieves ..

Another day chasing my refund! No further forward. the course was suppose to have started Monday I never even received one call off the company to arrange this. They have gave me no service and will not let pay my money back! I will not stop till I get my money back and people need to know how disgusting this company is!

Refund hasn't been processed

I've been promised a call back on 15 different time slots and no phone call has arrived.
The company promises refunds within 30 days but my complaint email was submitted over two months ago and hasn't been directly replied to.
My complaint reference number is: 5977158298833452300, which one employee said they've lost track of, and then another employee said they've already responded to it.
My course wasn't completed because the instructor's car went into the garage.

SCAM ALERT

These people only reply to good reviews, any of these poor people who are still waiting for refunds are being ignored (as you can see from this site) - it's a scam! I'd be very surprised if these 5% reviews are all legitimate customers... Please DO NOT pay this company your money!

We do not generate false reviews, we don't have the time or the know how or the need.

We send out a lot of courses and have a lot of very happy customers.

We don't reply to reviews referring to us as 'scammers' or 'fraudsters' as these reviews are slanderous. Whilst we acknowledge we can't always honour a minority of the course bookings, we do try hard to rebook these clients but it is not always possible.

Whilst we are far from perfect and at times slow to respond due to overwhelming pressures, we work incredibly hard to get our courses out and keep our pupils happy.

Refunds are often delayed due to customers bombarding us with calls, emails and Live chats instead of waiting for the refund process which as stated in the terms and conditions can take up to 30 days.

We have made a significant number of changes to our business lately to acknowledge aspects of our company that need improving.

They must be scammers..

They must be scammers as ive been waiting 3 weeks for my refund now. First time i was meant to have a weeks course, they cancelled on me the friday before as the instructor was ‘ill’. We rescheduled and they broight a manual car EVEN THOUGH i paid extra for automatic!! They are terrible. Everytime i ask where my refund is they say theyll look into it. WHAT IS THERE TO LOOK INTO I JUST NEED MY MONEY BACK

Would not recommend

Review update, I have now received my refund. However, I would not recommend, the course was cancelled twice, the second time there was no prior warning, the instructor just didn’t show up in the day. I’d booked holiday from work on both occasions so at a loss. Poor experience.

Absolute frauds

I paid £1,200 for my “driving course” I began to get suspicious when I was a couple of weeks away from the course date and still no details have been provided when I chased for details they just came back with vague information like “its been booked” or “it’s still going ahead”.

Eventually I realised what was going on and after sifting through all the fake 5* reviews I found so many more people are in a similar situation. I’ve since asked for a refund which they say has been processed yet no money has ended up in my account I’ve been chasing up on this everyday for 13 days and they continue to mess me about saying they’re going to check on it today and never do it.

It’s infuriating they don’t leave any names no phone numbers lead through to them it baffles me that the company is allowed to exist.

AVOID!!! THIS IS A SCAM!

AVOID!!!This company is a complete scam!

My 18 year old son had paid for his course and was excited to do his course.
A date was set and a day before the instructor ‘became ill’.
A date was rearranged and as it approached no contact has been made, we emailed and asked for an update they said ‘someone would be in contact soon’.
Nothing.
The start date came and we contacted them and was told it was strange.
Then we started to look into the company and it was linked to other company names that were all based at the same office. The number to call says it’s engaged, it just doesn’t call.

Called one of the other companies linked on the website small print and they denied all knowledge of them.

I informed them on the chat function that my bank had advised me this was fraud and to proceed as such THEN I got a response… saying I was unfair to call them a scam etc.

I requested a refund and it’s been over a week now and nothing, just emails saying they will look into it.

I have since seen other people have this exact same experience. It’s a complete scam and I’m sure leaving many people out of pocket.

I know have to go the legal/fraud route to get my sons money back.

Avoid this company as much as you can. If this company is not a scam, then it is by far the worst run. I had my first course cancelled August 22nd, with my start dating being the 26th. The entire week before the 26th, I was going on to the live chat system asking for my instructor to contact me as when you book the course, they tell you that one will be in contact a week before. I never heard anything from one.

I then had my course rearranged for the 9th September. Same again, I went on the live chat asking to be contacted by my instructor the week before. They kept assuring me that an instructor had my details and would be in contact. Again, nothing. It came to the start date of my course, still no contact from an instructor and no one showed up.

During all of this as well, I would use their live chat system and they would close down chats after asking them a question or not answer so that the chat closed due to inactivity.

I asked for a refund every single day after this and was either being ignored or got told they'll pass it to the right team. It finally got to Thursday 12th September and I received an email saying that my refund has been processed. Since then, I have asked them for proof of this refund being processed as obliviously, they can't be trusted. Once again, the same thing. Ignored or they'll get someone to look into it.

The complaints team do not deal with any complaints at all, they will just email you close to midnight saying they'll sort it out tomorrow. They also told me a manager would be in contact, then I got a text message saying that it is the manager speaking. So no idea if it was or not.

From my experience with this company, there has been absolutely nothing positive what so ever. If you are looking to book your driving lessons, please do not use this company. Find a company that you have heard of or a local instructor. This will just cause you a massive head ache.

From looking through other complaints, I can see that they are flagging all the negative ones. I have proof for everything that I have mentioned here.
