Minor mistakes in the actual game. Some puzzles feel superficial. I was buying this to save time instead of organizing a scavenger hunt like I did last year for my child with puzzles planted around the house, but given that it took me a while to understand puzzle and figure out what hints I would be giving kids, it wasn't really that much time saved and one minor error I didn't notice during review so it was really awkward during the game since what I did was to use the final code and add the last step to have some of those numbers open the actual chest with prizes. So it was really important to obviously get those numbers right. Also, on the side, the web-site did not clearly state the bundle and teacher discounts don't combine and it it appeared like they do in the cart, so only when I paid I saw that they don't. I don't have the problem that they don't, I do have a problem that it wasn't clearly stated. The company offered $credit, but a refund would have been more appropriate. To summarize, I wouldn't use this as a high stakes kids party games - you're probably better off designing your own (none of the puzzles in the two games I bought blew my mind being particularly special), especially if you don't have a colour printer at home. That way you'll know the game and puzzles intimately and it would be smoother ride. But for a way to fill time at a small party I think it's ok.

We had a great time with this murder mystery! I the only thing that would’ve been nice, was to have a “demo” of some type to work out the logistics before starting the game. We had some unknown going into it, and had to figure it out during the game. But now we know our second game will be amazing!

MysteryLocks Escape Room stories are easily adaptable and work very well for our high school banquets! We do not have a "prom," so we build an escape room centered on a MysteryLocks Escape Room story. We hide the clues and build a room based on the story. We had a great time with "The Pirate Box," and we are looking forward to "The Venice Heist" for this year!

THE ULTIMATE WORSE EXPERIENCE. This is NOT intended for 5th graders and was beyond difficult. I did for an entire class for daughter's birthday and even the teacher said this is not meant for kids...too confusing

The New Years Escape was challenging and fun.

The games were super fun and so easy to set up. Just print, cut and play.

We had a fun time but it was definitely too advanced for my kids 12 and under. My 18 year old and his friends helped, but we needed most of the clues.
It was alot of fun, though. We fumbled our way through most of the puzzles ans got alot of lucky guesses.often came up with the right digits for the code but out of order. Still sont know how people could solve this 100%! Tricky but fun.

Mystery Locks is such a fun activity!! I have 3 littles 11 yo twins and a 9 yo and we have done three of these so far. My kids absolutely LOVE them and have such a good time! I have three more that I downloaded and I can't wait to start adding locks, and props to create cooler experiences for them and their friends. Pretty much every holiday now gets a new mystery adventure! Much better than watching a movie. We love them!! Thank you for making such a great product!

Played the game last night! All who played agreed it was great fun. Challenging but not so hard that it couldn't be solved.

The puzzles & the experience were great! The instructions were lacking but customer service was quick & helpful. The tiny print was difficult to read, maybe a different font would be better. I did not put the "hints" in the envelopes, I think that would have been too easy. I managed the hints with two groups playing at one time - one group didn't need them at all
