Hidden conditions that are not clear upon using a $100 dollar voucher that they would save your card details and deduct $40 monthly for a wine subscription. The email notification warning you of your first payment states “in a couple of days your first $40 instalment goes into your Naked account”, they send this email out the day before payment is automatically deducted 12am the following day so the likelihood of you being able to resolve the mistaken subscription is greatly reduced. Disappointing from an independent company. I will be ringing customer service for a refund and disputing the charge.

Reviewing so people who might get pissed off like me can just not bother at the start.
My experience: Got a $100 voucher with a parcel and thought I'd see what else they've got as a family member had previously got a random 12 wines box with a $100 voucher. The naked wines received were fine although nothing spectacular. I live next to a wine region so can get award winning wines for $12-15 a bottle easily. Still I like to try different brands so decided to try it for myself.
What a waste of time. What the voucher doesn't say is that you will be funnelled into a 3 question form, be required to give your email address and then be presented with a single option to purchase with your voucher. This option will be a 12 box of wines, in my experience ~$80-100 with postage after your voucher is used. I could not chose any other wines, I couldnt even see them. I also couldn't see any other prefilled 12 box options. The site wouldn't let me go back or otherwise change my answers to the 3 vague questions. I tried using a different email and browser and eventually was able to answer 2 of 3 questions differently and got exactly the same bottle options. Basically this is a waste of time if you've already tried that box in any way and want to see what else they do. A very frustrating interface and experience. I wouldn't be anywhere near as annoyed if they had been upfront about the limited options and whether there was more than 1 basic box despite asking 3 questions to 'tailor' it to you.
I loathe businesses that give illusions of choice without any actual meaningful choice. Frankly I wouldn't take free wine from Naked Wines at this point. They can keep it.
So that's my experience. FYI for anyone who might be low on spoons and considering trying the voucher as a fun thing. User and buyer beware.

Totally deceptive. Read the the previous 1 star reviews. Everyone has the same experience. Dishonest marketing scam. Don't waste your money with this service. They suck you in with promotional bonuses and keep charging a subscription even if you didnt agree to any ongoing charges. Better deals at the bottle shop. I'm over this method of signing you up and continuing secret charges without notification. Naked wines fraudsters make it hard to cancel your subscription and charge you top dollar for delivery. Scam alert

I'm very happy with this latest order. It arrived today by a cheerful driver and opening the order, had to have a glass of Jen Pfeiffer's 'Rock it Like a Redhead'- a Sauvignon Blanc. It's a nice drop. I'll keep buying I reckon. You do too.

Good selection of wines reasonably priced and delivered promptly.
I did not like one of the wines in my recent order and they gave me full credit for it with no questions asked.

Naked wines staff are always good to deal with. They answer questions directly and solve problems easily. Nothing is a hassle and they are always happy to help in any way either choosing wines or with delivery instructions. Amazing service!

Absolutely horrible sign up experience. Completely predatory practice of automatically charging you each month after I'd signed up for one promo pack. It was really dodgy - they quietly charged me each month to purchase their "angel top up system" on the account so they didn't have to send me anything. Felt really sneaky. When I went to complain and said scam - their chat bot knew straight away it was the angel top up system. Buyer beware but I didn't even know I'd be a repeat buyer.

They wouldn’t let me check out with two bottles of wine.
Why would I stay with them?
You try to pause your membership, and they don’t allow that either.
I’ve cancelled my plan — even though I still had credit on it.
I will no longer tolerate this ridiculous situation.

Be aware that by signing up to receive a free gift coupon you get charged for freight and also signed up for membership which comes with a monthly charge. I’ve cancelled my membership and am wondering if I will be refunded the monthly charge. The cancellation information said I would but the next web page said they would hold on to the money as a credit in case a customer returns. My thought is if you are canceling a membership it means you’re not returning and should receive a full refund. Be very careful with the free gift coupons.

Sneaky company as they dont make it clear that when you buy something that you are subscribing to a subscription. I only noticed when saw they started debiting my account each month. Then when you want a refund they make it hard to find out how to request one.

THE SAME REVIEW AS PAUL PRITCHARD,
"I recently took you up on an offer"
"I recently took you up on an offer for a case of wine. The wine is very good however you are now trying to deduct $40 from my account without authorisation!
I hate these scammy underhanded sales tactics. "
I'm sure I also didn't authorise my card and what a shock it was two months later, when I found $120 missing... sitting in your site waiting for me to bite.
The wines were pretty damn good so I didn't give you a low rating.
Keep on supporting the growers and winemakers, it a good cause.

We just received an order and we started to tasted the wines and they are horrible .
I feel that you are robbing people with false advertisement.
I am not sure who would by this garbage, but people with some wine taste could never buy this waste of money.

We've purchasing wine through Naked for some time now. We have a few favourites such as Sam Plunkett and Jen Pettifer, both consistently good and proving that a quality wine doesn't have to cost a fortune. We've been really pleased with pretty much all the wines we've tried and come back to a few of them.
The delivery process has been trouble free and pleasingly prompt.
we're by no means significant customers but we're satisfied ones. Keep up the good work team !!
