The installers were very specialized, neat, did exactly what they said they would, and I couldn’t fault the after-install shadow up. It is good to find a firm that not only delivers on what they assured, but also goes above & beyond to guarantee you are very happy at every step along the way.

I would like to share our experience with this company from a sales person who was very perswayive the glossy brochure and figures they predicted where very promising but we have had a catalogue of events you get a project manager who never answered the phone three missed installation dates the lack of communication between trades people a total lack of organisation promises made and not kept missing materials scaffolding company damaged our property during errection and dismantle to the estimated costs of £3000 I have been trying to sort out with customer services for three months now they pass the book to installations who promised me three weeks ago to give an answer within 24 hours I am still waiting the accounts department have had two goes at my final account it's still not right they don't know how much I have paid and when its a total disgrace my advice would be don't sign a contract with this company until you have another quote because they are very good at upsetting and causing stress to there customers and once you have paid in full they are not interested .
Update 5/4/2024 it is now 6 months since I contacted customer services I am still waiting for someone to resolve my complaint avoid this company the solar panels don't produce what I was predicted I was given false information total disaster.
It is now 8 months later I am still trying to contact nationwide Renewables they won't answer the phone the numbers I recently had are no longer in use they are a total waste of space I am left now with a repair bill of £3000 avoid this company.
13/08/24 my comments on Nationwide Renewables reply I have never received any information regarding the scaffolding company from nationwide Renewables as the scaffolding was all part of the contract who they employed I don't see why they are telling me to sort it out with them as they have stuck them off their books obviously I'm not the only person who has a dispute with them it says a lot when it has taken six months to reply to my review I have recently spoken to the General manager who promised to look into my complaint he has not been in touch for three weeks.

Had my panels up for 6 months now, I thought in winter I would not see a difference in my energy bill but I have. I am a first time home-owner at 21 years old, nervous about how much I will have to pay to live comfortably at home. I am to this day happy with my decision as I feel confident in trusting this company and the service they have provided me with. I requested Priya as my project manager after my visit with Sally due to previous reviews and I have to say the service is incredible. I was nervous about making this big decision at such a young age, but I have felt nothing but confident, assured and pleased with the outcome of an energy bill reduction of 70%! I encourage more people my age to consider solar panels as they have amazing perks. The installation team came on time as promised, did such a clean install that even to this day the panels look absolutely amazing, take a look at the picture attached. Thank you

Posting this review on behalf of my elderly mum. Today we have had our solar panels installed and I cannot believe how beautiful they look. Usually my mum meets with the regular cowboys but this company’s service has been amazing. She had an appointment with Johnny who was incredibly reliable and trustworthy. She is now due to save £1500 in just her first year. Today, even with snow, this company has made it to us and completed such a neat install. The lads on the job were amazing and helped even hoover my mums downstairs to keep things tidy. Project manager priya made some fantastic suggestions on battery upgrades and communication has been fantastic. I would recommend!

Due to the poor service provided by this company i have been forced to contact citizens advice. Sales team member is the only person to come out of my dealings with the company with any respect. 1 star

New management and for me a better experience. Previously problems seemed to just mount up and I felt I was not listened to. The new manager Scott travelled hours to my house to discuss any issues past or present. He has since followed up with an email and phone call to support me. This had led me to believe the company is looking to be better and I feel that a change of their behaviours deserves a change in ratings as they are seemingly looking to improve . 4 stars

We had John come to the house twice and he happily took his time to explain to us. First day he gave us a look into the company and solar panels in general. The next day we spoke more about it and started to warm up to the idea because of how much information John had given us to be able to make an informed decision. John was very patient with my husband and I and gave us detailed breakdown on the types of solar panels and how much each would save us. We opted for payments on instalments and he helped us choose the best credit options.
John was very helpful giving us very adequate information about solar panels and how important they are and how helpful it’ll be for reducing our energy bills. He’s very persuasive and really does his job well. Very friendly and I recommend him

Great communication all through the process. Workforce who dealt with me were all good; got the job done quickly and easily. Accessibility in my house was difficult but they worked round that and got the job done neatly and efficiently. Follow up communications were good as well.

Absolutely awful experience with this company. Missed appointments for installations, long delays. It took 6 months for them to issue the MCS certificate which is required for exporting back to the grid and when it finally arrived after months of chasing it up they got the address wrong meaning the certificate was invalid. When they finally re-sent the correct address they still didn't update the MPAN (supplier number) from the incorrect address so I still couldn't export. They now just ignore my emails and there's never anyone to speak to on the phone. Awful customer service and awful company. I rung MCS directly today to sort the certificate myself and they told me Nationwide Renewables have actually just been suspended from MCS which is no way surprises me at all! You HAVE to have an MCS certificate in order to be paid for exporting energy to the grid so do yourselves a favour and find a company that are MCS registered (and also have a decent record of customer service). One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, I really cannot stress how bad the whole process has been as soon as the installations started.

UPDATE 20.3.24 - I have had a barrage of emails and calls from various staff members threatening me to take down this review. They still owed me an electrical installation certificate and refused to send it to me until I removed this review which I have not done. I made a formal complaint to NAPIT who are the governing body for solar installations and they informed me Nationwide Renewables have also been suspended by them too. When I told them I would pursue legal action if they didn't send me the certificate that I had paid for 18 months ago they finally sent it to me. And guess what... it had the wrong address on it again! I genuinely can't believe how poorly run this company is. Well thanks for threatening me to remove my review, I hope you like the updated version. Everything I have said on here is completely true - you can contact MCS and NAPIT by phone and ask them to check if Nationwide Renewables are suspended or have been in the past. With so many reputable companies offering solar installation there is absolutely no space for a company like this to exist. Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this terrible company. They would have far more 1 star reviews on here if they didn't bully people to remove them. Many of the 5 star reviews sound completely fake too, don't be fooled.

I simply couldn't be happier with my experience of nationwide renewables from start to finish. It was great initially to have the opportunity to discuss installation options and to figure out a bespoke design that fitted our needs and our property. The project management was seamless with the install happening on the exact day predicted months beforehand. And the team of roofers and electricians were the epitome of professionalism and technical competence completing an installation of the highest standard on time in spite of rain, ice and snow. Would recommend to anyone.

Having considered a solar PV system for some time Nationwide Renewables was recommended to us by a neighbour. We are extremely grateful to the neighbour for the recommendation and to JoJu as we now have a solar PV system and Zappi EV charger which precisely fit our needs. From the first contact we were impressed by the professional approach and sound advice offered. The installation proceeded on schedule and was complete in just two days. I would recommend Nationwide without reservation and in due course will discuss with them options for adding battery storage.

Our much awaited solar panels are now up and running thanks to Nationwide Renewables Solar. We had to wait patiently for our turn, but once it came and Dan the design engineer got in touch to discuss our needs and best options, the whole experience has been a very positive one. All our questions and issues were responded to so we could make the decisions that were right for us.
