The online self paced course is well layed out and easy to follow with detailed descriptions to all elements allowing sufficient information to easily pass the assessments at the end of the course to attain your VHF Licence (SRROCP).

A very useful and easy yo follow e learning course. Good support from a local instructor when needed. I am a better skipper now.

Have done a couple of courses through nav at home and both were easy to follow, intuitive and informative. I learned a lot which helped me achieve the Day skippers practical and the VHF radio qualifications.

Really good course, well presented. Did the online version mainly for convenience, but in hindsight would have considered the classroom as this is a "doing" skill. The online tools were very good though.
Would recommend for anyone boating - great all round skills to have.

The course was well laid out and extensive. I did not realise the huge volume of the course. It did take a serious time commitment after work and during the weekends to complete the course while still working a full time job. The material, examples, quizzes and exercises were helpful in preparing for the final assessment. Navathome was very responsive to any queries I had during the course.

I found the information to be a bit overwhelming at times with what was to be retained but Alan was great in his approach and was a wealth of information

The RYA Yachtmasters fast track course run by Navathome far exceeded my expectations.
The course is well set out and the support if needed is excellent, with a quick response to any queries.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone considering going for their Yachtmasters Coastal/Offshore certificate

Easy to learn course content at own pace and test knowledge through quizzes and simulations. Particularly helpful in revision where you can re-sit tests and quizzes as many times as necessary which are great prep for exam format

Support was most helpful in conjunction with the detailed course material provided. Some compatibility issues with Macs did occur but overall the online training delivered an interesting and useful learning experience. Many thanks for Alan in supporting us through the course.

The course was very thorough and interactive and Alan followed up quickly and efficiently with any concerns. I highly recommend Navathome if you need a vhf certificate of competency

I just completed my VHF radio course with flying colours mainly due to the excellent training material provided by NAV at Home . I was not expecting such an interactive training course. It made learning the course material fun.

Really enjoyed the online radio simulation.

The content in this course and the associated downloads are both clear and useful.

The self assessment quizzes however are weak and could be improved through a better Learning Management System (LMS). The questions did not change on a resit, a question that required the re-ordering of a list did not work on mobile devices and overall there is significant room for improvement in the assessment part of the course. Assessment is important as it provides the feedback loop for the person undertaking the course. It is also the difference between simply reading a book and watching a few videos and undertaking a course.

As a showcase for NAVatHOME courses, the clunkiness of LMS and the limitations of the assessment sections would not encourage me to do further study.

This being said, overall this course has significantly improved my scant knowledge of this subject matter, so was worth doing.

I have done a lot of sailing but very little navigation ...Navathome addressed the areas of navigation I wanted to know about & also the ones I needed to know about ...Done in language that I was able to understand ...Also the advice given when picking the course was very appropriate

I thought this course was informative, well set out and fun to do. Each subject was in its own block so you could complete each separate one as you had time.

I have a sailing holiday in French Polynesia next month and it is 6 years since my last sail. This course has made me a lot more confident about our upcoming adventure
