Sharing my personal experience with the NavAtHome RYA Day Skipper Theory course:
Self-Paced Format: I thoroughly enjoyed the flexibility of the self-paced format. It allowed me to learn at my own speed, accommodating my learning style and schedule.
Chartwork Activities: The chartwork activities were a highlight for me. They were well-designed and engaging, enhancing my learning experience. These practical exercises helped me apply theoretical knowledge effectively.
Clear Progress and Results Summary: The most significant aspect of the course was the clear progress tracking and results summary. Having a concise overview of my progress motivated me to continue and achieve my goals.
Overall, I found the NavAtHome online course to be a well-structured and effective learning resource. 🌊⛵

A user friendly online course that allowed learning at your own pace and the opportunity to go back and review modules completed too.

The online program was easy to follow. I was very surprised at the very broad range of topics it covered but very happy it did. I feel more comfortable in the knowledge gained with my upcoming yacht charter.

The course materials are easy to follow, contain good information and the practice exams really help for the final test. I enjoyed practicing with the virtual radio.

This was a fun yet challenging course. I don't know how it would be possible to learn this much volume over a 5 day period. Being able to take breaks, to digest what was being taught, and come back to the course in my own time was a big advantage. The course programme is well written and informative with excellent online demonstrations and examples.

The online Day Skipper content was approproaty detailed, and was clearly explained. The sessions are logically phased, building on each other well. The self tests and section quiz approach enables good student preparation for the final assessments.

I sought advice on 2 occasion from the staff (Alan), by phone. Both times my call was returned within minutes, with clear and constructive advice provided in a very supportive manner.

I highly recommend the course to ensure you gain solid foundation knowlwdge and good self confidence for the safe operation of your boat / yacht. I will definately use Navathome Australia if/when I enrol for the Yachtmaster Coastal/ Offshore course.
